AEW RELEASES ANNOUNCER WILLIE URBINA FOR MOCKING HIKARU SHIDA'S ACCENT (What A Moron)

All Elite Wrestling released Spanish language announcer Willie Urbina today. He can now "go mock" somebody else? SOMEWHERE ELSE.
The release came hours after audio of Urbina, apparently not aware his mic was broadcasting, mocked Hikaru Shida's accent during a conversation with other announcers as they were discussing who would handle the Spanish translation of Shida's promo for the last night's Spanish language broadcast of Dynamite, was shared by fans on social media. The audio clip became a major topic of discussion on Twitter and other social media platflorms overnight.
Urbina had previously worked for Impact Wrestling from 2006-2014 after breaking into the business for IWA Puerto Rico and Carlos Colon's World Wrestling Council. He has also done Spanish language announcing for New Japan.
Not aware his mic was still broadcasting, Urbina did a stereotypical accent in response to Shida’s promo, which she cut in English, during her title celebration.

What's Going On With The Rumor Of WWE And NJPW Working Together? Not Much (Rumor Killer For The "Marks")
There was a report earlier today from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer about WWE reaching out to New Japan Pro Wrestling about a potential working agreement. Since that report began making the rounds, a number of readers are asking whether there is anything to it. Pretty much it's a no. So again, Meltzer gets it wrong (which for Meltzer, isn't that unusual).
Sorry "Marks", nothing 'huge' is gonna be happening any time son. So if you got your hopes up, They're now gonna be shot down.
Many have been told today by sources from each company that there have been communications between the two sides for several months but the main crux of it was over the potential of Daniel Bryan being able to potentially work some dates in NJPW. Whether anything has come from those discussions remain to be seen. Is it possible the two sides could build a bridge to each other? Sure, but if so, it's not happening right now and it's not something that has happened yet despite talking for some time off and on.
So, This is not a case where any sort of talks are about to lead to New Japan immediately pulling up stakes with their current working agreement or NJPW talents making some sort of shocking appearance on Raw. AEW's Jon Moxley has possession of the IWGP United States title, plus Yuji Nagata worked for them several weeks ago plus Roppongi Vice just reunited in AEW. Meanwhile, Satoshi Kojima just made his Impact Wrestling debut. Don't expect anything in regard to those promotions' relationships with NJPW to change anytime soon, if at all.
So nnaaa, nothing happening with NJPOW and WWE because NJPW has other working agreements.

Sami Callihan & Moose IMPLODE (And nobody Gave A Sh*t) vs Good Brothers! | IMPACT! Highlights May 27, 2021
Every time I see Callihan get in the face of someone I can't help but laugh out loud at him. I mean it's like he wants to be taken serious as a real tough guy sssoo bad, but I just don't see it. There's nothing he's ever done to have me look at him in that way. You just want to say "shoo fly, soo. Go play tough guy somewhere else cause you're a joke here".
Then you have the Good Brothers, who all the internet marks swore they were this 'legendary tag team', and at best I see them as just mediocre. Orton and Slater, Gordy and Hansen, Kernodle, those teams from back in the day still look better now, compared to the Good Brothers in my opinion.
Moose's spear on Callihan after the match, TOTALLY MISSED. And Sami still 'sold' it even though the camera shot saw that Sami didn't take the move properly. Absolutely atrocious in how Callihan did the bump from that move, atrocious as all hell which just validated everything I've been saying about Callihan.
Thanks Sami. Thanks for showing everyone in the world that if someone goes to spear you, you'll refuse to 'sell' it correctly, nice to know.

Decay Put On VIOLENT (By Rated G Standards Maybe) Display! | IMPACT! Highlights May 27, 2021
Decay put on a 'VIOLENT DISPLAY'? Where? Because it certainly wasn't in this match that's for sure.
Were there chairs being used? Nope. Someone going thru a table? NNAA. Someone being slammed face first into the ring bell? uh uh.. What about bull ropes, chains, cage, or thumbtacks, things decay WERE ONCE known for? Not, even close.
What we got was a bunch of acrobatic high spots, "selling" on the level of barely doing it, and another reason to grab the remote and change the channel instead. AAHHH yep, totally a 'violent display' in every aspect of the phrase, NOT!
Anthem Sports, Impact's owners owns AXS TV so they 'can't put some 'violence' on their wrestling company's show if they wanted to. Then again you have Tommy Dreamer, Mr. "Innovator Of Violence" (remember that nick name?) on the booking team in Impact. So with him there the obvious question, WHERE'S the violent display at?
Guess Dreamer, who HAS had violent matches in his career, was on a coffee break when it came time to lay this match out.
Then there's this 'gem' of commentary by Josh Matthews and D'lo Brown describing Black Taurus.
Josh: What's not to like about this man, He's got a cool mask, He's got moves like THIS..
D'Lo" AND HE'S GOT HORNS!!
YYEEAAHH, that sure gives me TONS of reasons to like the guy, because "HE'S GOT HORNS"! Absolutely, let me get 'right on' liking the guy because he has 'horns'.
Did Scotty D'Amore scream into D'Lo's headset telling him to say that? LOL.
And D'Lo can't even pronounce Taurus correctly. He fucked it up at least three times during the highlight clip I watched. Is it really that hard to pronounce the word "Taurus"? Just curious.

KOJIMA DEBUTS (And Most fans Have No Clue Who he Is) , Violent By Design ON NOTICE! | IMPACT! Highlights May 27, 2021
The thumbnail that one sees when you see this video listed has a picture of KOJIMA with the b ig graphic of "HE'S HERE"!
Most fans don't know who he is so most are saying "He's here? Who cares"? Or "He's here? So what".
That's how much thought process went into Impact actually working to 'build up' his debut.
I guess putting together a great package of highlights featuring wins over major names in Japan, or even Joe Doering in JAPAN, along with a promo of sorts announcing and him hyping his debut would've been a good idea to do. But THAT, would "Make way too much sense" and god forbid people at Impact would actually want to put in that much work to get someone who's supposed to be, 'that big a star' over.
Nothing like watching lazy booking and hyping, I tell ya.
Eric Young in describing Ryno says and I quote (Get this), "The man with the most violent instincts in this business, has returned". HHMM, But what about ol 'Death Machine' Sami Callihan? I guess he doesn't count all of a sudden? Sami IS (according to Sami mind you, just ask him and he'll tell you). If you're supposed to go by actual 'logic' in wrestling (and the three 'major' companies in this country obviously don't because having logic means too much work for them) Then a 'Death machine' would certainly have more 'violent instincts' than an out of relevance Ryno.
Obvious gaps like this is something Impact bookers SHOULD be pointing out. But as you can see, they don't or just are too lazy to. Too bad nobody has the balls to ask why that is.
HAD there been some one in Impact Wrestling with true knowledge of what booking 101 really is, right after Eric Young said that? Send Sami out there to say something like "whoa whoa whoa How can you say that when I'M, the Death Machine". That would've made more sense. But I guess the booking team at Impact don't care if something makes sense or not, eh? "Fuck logic, we have other things to do" must be the mentality there.
I wonder of this Violent By Design, looking pretty lame is "by design' as well. Asking for a friend. :)
Thank God I'll be watching the MLW Underground show featuring Samoa Joe vs Mike Aweome after reviewing these highlights. Because THAT SHOW, will easily blow away anything Impact Wrestling has done in over a year.. Sad, but those are the true facts. Maybe Impact's bookers should watch that show, they might learn something. Just a hint, that you know they're gonna ignore.
So after all this what do we get? We get Kojima coming to the ring and doing what EC3 did in Ring Of Honor.. Three word promo.
Problem is? EC3 saying "You've been warned" compared to Kojima saying "Against all odds" was 100 times better.
Imagine that.
Knockouts Division EXPLODES! (Not Really)| IMPACT! Highlights May 27, 2021
Havok kicks Suzi three times and Suzi barely 'sold' them. The third kick was an absolute "no sell". Suzi's smaller than Havok and she just stands there, "no selling"? I guess I'm the only one who sees something wrong with this picture. Like TJP, Suzi needs to go back to wrestling school and be properly trained in the art of 'selling'. She surely has no clue how to do it correctly. Or, she just doesn't want to.
Maybe Suzi should watch how Rosemary, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steele "sell" and take notes, because that's, how it's done. Hell just watch how they do it here in this match, and learn from that.
Why is "Selling" such a hard thing for this current era of 'wrestlers' to grasp? And why is it every time I ask one of those wrestlers, they can never give me an answer? HHMMM.
So let me get this straight, all these women are fighting with each other to get shots at the Knockouts title and tag titles, so let's here's a 'great idea' (rolls eyes), let's put all of them together willy nilly in a ten woman tag team match. No rhyme or reason why, no real build up for them, just throw the match together and see how it comes out.
Gotta love this "Throw oatmeal against a wall and hope it sticks' kind of booking logic that Impact has here.
This was a total fucking mess at best. Which is something Impact booking is known for. So at least they're consistent with that.

It must've been when Rich Swann came out of nowhere and kicked him in the face, LMAO!
Morrissey sounds like a rejected boyfriend here. I have ex-girlfriends who whine and bitch way better than this. Maybe I should send him their way so that way he can take notes from them.
Nothing CHILLING here. If you want chilling then try Gary hart putting Abdullah The Butcher over, Try old Mad Dog Vachon interviews, or maybe Kevin Sullivan promos in Florida. THOSE were "Chilling", This crap here? Not even, in the area code of CHILLING.

Love how after Josh tags Petey Williams in Fallah Bahh "Holds" his hand out for Petey to take it for the double whip into the ropes. Can you make it ANY MORE OBVIOUS?

Josh Matthews says "Josh Alexander RUNS thru TJP". No moron, he dove at him. Anybody watching this saw that's, what it was. How is he "running thru" TJP when he's already in mid-air, stupid.
Petey going against TJP shows that Williams knows how to "Sell" while TJP obviously wasn't trained correctly when it comes to that. Someone should really sit down with TJP and explain to him what "Selling" is all about. And why he should actually start doing MORE of it.
So since the headline for this highlight said "X Division Champion SHOCKED", exactly HOW was he shocked?
Guess what people, He wasn't 'shocked'.
Maybe the moron that uploads these highlights should try and come up with something more realistic for the titles, because there was no "SHOCKED" look on Alexander's face at all.

Good Brothers On MOOSE'S Side?! (Does Anybody Really Care?) | IMPACT! Highlights May 27, 2021
As usual let's make it obvious that the fan noise is piped in. I love how Impact doesn't even TRY to hide that fact, they could mind you, but their attention to details and logic has always been terrible at best.
So now we have Sami Callihan, the guy who looks more like he's 'playing wrestler' than being an actual pro wrestler, sitting in the ring for an "award winning" (note the sarcasm) promo. Maybe I should go take a shit because the sound of my toilet flushing will absolutely be better than this promo, I'm sure.
Sami really should go to Monikers R Us and get a new nick name because nobody, and I mean NOBODY buys this "Death Machine nic name he gave himself. I find myself laughing out loud every time he calls himself that, Laughing and saying "Yeah right, okay". I mean seriously, you hear Sami call himself the "Death Machine", then look, actually LOOK, at Callihan and how can not laugh? Maybe if he was playing the old IWA play by wrestling mail game he'd be convincing, but not here on TV. Sorry, nobody buys it.. Nobody.
"You can plan, for a guy like Moose, You can plan, for a guy like Rich Swann, but you can't plan for me" That's what he says. Wanna bet we can plan? Plan for a long boring time, plan to leave the room and make dinner, plan to grab the remote and change the channel until your segment is over, there's plenty of options and 'plans' there Sami, Dumb ass.
The only decent part of ALL the talking on this? Was when Moose was in the ring.
The "Good Brothers" have proven again this week why they're not good when it comes to promos. As much as i hate scripted promos, maybe these two should be exception. Maybe some one on the booking committee like Tommy Dreamer should write their promos for now on cause this really sucked ass. Maybe their so "Used to" having someone write their promos for them that they actually don't know HOW, to do a promo on their own.
Moose setting it up for both he and Sami to brawl with the Good brothers was really good.
Sad that with all those guys in the ring, Moose was the only one who truly stood out when it comes to mic work. Of course you know, higher ups in Impact won't take notice of it.. Or.. They'll ignore that obvious fact altogether.

Dick the Bruiser vs Paul Christy (Either March 3, or July 14, 1979)
George Cannon's Superstars of Wrestling received a major shot in the arm, marquee-wise, when Dick the Bruiser graced the promotion in the spring of 1981. Despite being in the twilight of his career, Dick the Bruiser could still guarantee a strong house and action, as evidence by his work for the St. Louis territory in the same timeframe. To hype the Bruiser's arrival, Cannon aired this bout from Dick's WWA territory between the Bruiser and familiar foe Paul Christy (accompanied here by valet/future wife Miss Bunny Love). This match most likely occurred sometime in 1979 in Indianapolis, IN (Any help on the exact date and/or venue would be appreciated) and was reaired on Superstars sometime in April 1981. The action is joined in progress with the team of George "Crybaby" Cannon, Milt Avruskin, and heel manager Dr. Jerry Graham Jr (then managing the Mad Iranian, better known as The Iron Sheik) providing commentary from the studio.
Marcus Bagwell Has Been Arrested
The Georgia Gazette is reporting that former WCW star Marcus "Buff" Bagwell was arrested on 5/22 in Cobb County, GA.
Bagwell, 51, has been charged with a litany of offenses, including Bagwell was charged with eleven different misdemeanors including speeding, failure to yield when entering an intersection, giving false data to a law enforcement officer, hit and run (duty of driver to stop of return to scene of accident), following too closely, reckless driving, driving within a gore/median/emergency lane, driving under the influence of drugs, duty upon striking a fixed object, driving on the wrong side of the roadway and more.

Paul Christy Passes Away
Paul Christy, who was a mainstay of Dick the Bruiser's Indianapolis territory in the 70s and 80s, passed away today at the age of 82. Christy was the real-life best man at the real-life Randy Savage & Elizabeth wedding before either was in WWF.
He did a magic act on a 1986 Tuesday Night Titans show. His future wife, Bunny Burmeiester was part of his act as manager Miss Bunny Love during the 80s after he turned heel after being a longtime babyface.
He spent some time wrestling in Arizona, Amarillo, Texas — where he was Billy Graham — and in the Gulf Coast territory, where he was billed as Chris Lucas, brother to the established Ken Lucas; the Lucas “brothers” were Southern tag team champions in 1965, 1966 and 1969.
In the Indianapolis-based WWA, Christy was a tag champion with Wilbur Snyder (1971), Moose Cholak (1977) and Roger Kirby (1979).
His friendship with Poffo, another Chicagoan, paid off when Christy won the ICW World title from Randy Savage (Poffo’s son) in November 1983, in the renegade promotion. “The Poffos were very good to me,” told Bill Kociaba in a Cauliflower Alley Club story in 2005. “I became their world champion and I stood as Randy’s best man when he married Liz. Angelo and I still are very close.”
Christy stopped wrestling in 1990.
In 2005, he published his autobiography, The Many Faces of Paul Christy.

Kenny Omega Seems To Have Taken A Shot At Jim Ross And Jim Cornette
In response to Jericho calling him “the best wrestler in the world today,” Omega seemingly took a shot at Jim Cornette, WWE fans, and AEW announcer Jim Ross.
During a recent episode of Grilling JR, Ross called Randy Orton the best wrestler in the world: “I don’t think anybody is any better than Randy Orton in the wrestling business.”
JR added, “I’m sure there’s Kenny Omega fans out there that would say Omega is the best wrestler in the world. Some will, and they got the right to their opinion and I’m not going to argue it. Omega is really frickin’ good. In any event, it’s a good time to be a fan. A lot of great talent out there, improving their game, adapting and adding things.”
So while Ross complemented Omega, ol Kenny thought making a snide remark at a guy who works in the same company he does, was a good idea.
Which shows that next time Kenny Omega 'thinks' he has a good idea? He should keep it to himself. Thinking and Kenny Omega obviously don't go hand in hand very well.
Of course Omega won't have the balls to say anything like that to Jim Ross's face. He doesn't have them kind of balls. Most keyboard warriors and internet Rambo's, usually don't.
As for Jericho claiming "It's impossible to argue"? I'd love to challenge Jericho to that argument. But of course he won't do it because he knows what people would say when he'd get his ass handed to him by me, with no effort needed whatsoever. There's plenty of argument here for that and Jericho would lose, easily if he even tried that with me. Because the list of wrestlers that ARE, better than Omega? Is quite long.. The last thing Jericho wants is for me to start naming them. So I know he'll do the wise thing, and just stay silent.
And of course he's "Most Protected". God forbid you'd actually want to elevate someone else and create a new star in your promotion. NNAA, why do that? That would make "way too Much Sense". So Omega, as one of the EVP's at AEW is gonna do everything he can to 'protect himself'. Gee, how many times have we've seen THAT before, eh?
Former Impact Star Rhaka Khan's Trial Pushed Back Until September
The trial for former WWE developmental and Impact Wrestling star Trenesha Daniyall Biggers aka Rhaka Khan before the 409th District Court in El Paso, Texas on charges of interference with child custody and "aggravated kidnapping facilitate" has been pushed back to Friday 9/24/21 at 8 AM. The trial has been pushed back several times, likely due to the slowdown in the court system brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was most recently scheduled to begin on 5/21.
Biggers was indicted on the charges in August 2019, leading to her being listed as one of El Paso’s most wanted fugitives after failing to appear in court. There are two court instances where her no-shows led to her bail being revoked. She was finally arraigned in December 2019. Biggers is being represented by a public defender.
In the State of Texas, interference with child custody is when someone "takes or retains a child when that person knows that the taking or detention of the child violates a judgment or order." It is considered a state jail felony and can be punishable by up to two years in prison.
Biggers last wrestled in 2011 for the now-defunct Lucha Libre USA promotion, which aired on MTV. Biggers was part of the 2005 WWE Diva Search and was signed to a developemental contract after failing to make it past the top 25 contestants in the search. She was sent to Deep South Wrestling but was released in May 2006. She worked for a number of independent promotions and in Japan before signing with Impact Wrestling in 2008, departing that promotion in 2009. She worked for Lucha Libre USA in 2010 and 2011.

Another "Mark" Gets 'Checked'- As Easy As 1-2-3
They just INSIST, on coming out of the woodwork. They also INSIST that they're right, even though when I call em out to prove it? They spend more time deflecting with excuses cause they know they're lying, than just proving me wrong and shutting me up. Why is it "Marks" ALWAYS reply the same way, with the SAME excuses? I already knew, when I said "Prove it" that this clown was gonna try and dance his away out of it. And sure as you can predict the sun to rise in the east, and set in the west? This ass clown did JUST that.
The reason why they spend so much time deflecting, or telling ME, to "go look it up" when it was ME, who called THEM OUT, to prove it? Is because as you'll see, there's no proof for them. But on the other hand, I provided proof which put them in their place.
Proof is, a mother fucker. And I'll ALWAYS be, the mother fucker who has the proof. That's just the way, the world is.
Here's where it starts and really, "Marks" should know by now that I ain't the one to come brace up on. Cause I'll make em look stupid, every time. BUT, they just can't learn that lesson, can they. :)
This latest moron claimed that Impact Wrestling has over one million viewers of their TV product. It's a lie and most people who are smarter than the "Marks" know this, as AEW actually had over a million viewers recently, and Impact can only dream about getting that many. but this moron claimed it. So I called him out on it and said prove it, as you'll see right here.
So after I call him out knowing he's lying his ass off? he does the so typical and yet predictable thing. He tells ME, to "go look it up".
If you have to me to "go look it up" after I call YOU out to supply proof? That's the most obvious sign in the world that you know you got busted and are too much of a bitch ass to admit you got caught lying.
After I said that what does he do? Does he go ahead and provide the proof to shut me up? OR does he just continue to reply with more excuses to try and cover up the fact he can't back up what he claimed because he was wrong to begin with?
As you'll see, he did the latter.

UPDATE ON JERRY LAWLER LAWSUIT OVER OVER DEATH OF BRIAN LAWLER
Here's an update on the status of the lawsuit WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler filed back in 2019 against Hardeman County, TN over the death of his son Brian "Christopher" Lawler in 2018 while incarcerated following a DUI arrest.
The lawsuit is still making its way towards a jury trial, which is currently slated for 5/23/2022.
In recent months, Lawler's attorneys have been taking the depositions of a number of the defendants and witnesses, including Sheriff John Doolen, who Lawler stated in the lawsuit had promised him that Brian would receive help for his addiction issues while incarcerated. Instead, Lawler alleged Brian was never provided with any sort of treatment while incarcerated. Jerry Lawler stated in the lawsuit that he felt betrayed by Doolen over that broken promise.
Jerry Lawler is seeking $3 million in damages, plus additional compensatory damages if the court sees fit to award them. Lawler is also seeking a court order forcing Hardeman County to force immediate changes to prevent any additional suicides of prisoners in Hardeman County custody, noting, "the order should require "Hardeman County to correct their unconstitutional deficiencies so that no other family has to go through what this family has had to endure over the past year."
Brian Lawler was taken off life support on 7/29/18 at the age of 46, one day after he was found hanging in his cell in Bolivar, TN, where he had been incarcerated after being arrest for DUI several weeks before.
The lawsuit alleges the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office “failed to provide Brian with any treatment for his drug and alcohol issues” during Lawler’s incarceration and “altogether failed to provide him with appropriate care after he was assaulted by another inmate” the day of Lawler’s death. In the lawsuit, Jerry Lawler stated that the only reason he did not bail his son out was that he explained to the Sheriff Doolen that Brian needed help for addiction issues and was “promised” Brian would get the proper treatment for his personal issues. Instead, Brian was never provided with any sort of treatment while incarcerated. Jerry Lawler stated in the lawsuit that he felt betrayed by Doolen over that broken promise.
Lawler is also claiming negligence on behalf of the correction officers who were supposed to be supervising Brian Lawler. He is alleging that one officer saw Brian in the corner of his cell with a towel over his head, but instead of checking on the former WWE star, the officer ignored him, choosing to take garbage out instead. When the officer returned, he saw Christopher in the same position and, with a co-worker, finally checked on him. At that point, they became aware Christopher hung himself but even their attempts to rescue him were ill-prepared, as they used a pair of children’s scissors to attempt to cut him free.
Lawler alleged in the lawsuit that if the Hardeman County Sheriff’s office had been better prepared and had their staff immediately acted upon seeing Brian sitting in the corner with a towel over his face, Brian’s life may have been saved.
\The Lawler family has long disputed the idea that Brian’s death was self-inflicted.
Lawler’s lawsuit alleges that Hardeman County officials declined Brian Lawler’s requests to be taken to a hospital to be treated for a wound over his eye and ignored his concerns that he may have suffered a concussion. Instead, he was put into solitary confinement, where he was later found hanging. The lawsuit also alleged that Brian was never evaluated for suicide risk and that the cell he was placed in featured “Large bolts protruding from the cell [that] could be used as an anchor for the shoe laces used in the hanging”
So the case is still active.
Can "Marks" Be Any More Stupid? Well, Yes They Can Be.. Have A Look
I really don't have to state what started this which in the end agsain shows, that "marks" are dumb as fucking hell.
Especially when they try and walk back something they said, that you can SEE they said by looking five replies up. Maybe his selective amnesia had kicked in and he chose to forget what made him put his own foot in his mouth to begin with.
But this is the usual typical yet predictable things "Marks" do, every time they get busted and proven wrong. So this should come as no surprise. Look at how easy I put this guy in his place. No effort at all as he was indeed, 'checked'.
I keep saying that some day, the "Marks" will stop doing all the usual and typical responses and actually become a challenge when they try and brace me.
Someday, obviously isn't going to be today.
