Two more wrestler name changes were made official at NXT's house show in Largo, Florida on Thursday night.

The former DJZ made his NXT debut and is now going by Joaquin Wilde. He defeated Kona Reeves at the show.

Shane Strickland's new WWE name is Isaiah Scott. He teamed with Brennan Williams in Largo, with them defeating Brendan Vink & Jermaine Haley.

DJZ reported to the WWE Performance Center in May, while Strickland signing with WWE was officially announced in April.

Five name changes were also confirmed via the Performance Center's website earlier this week. Trevor Lee is now Cameron Grimes, Jessie Elaban is Jessi Kamea, Eric Bugenhagen is Rik Bugez, Adrian Jaoude is Arturo Ruas, and Luke Menzies is Ridge Holland.

Impact Notes

Last night's taping had a little less than 400 fans in the building, which was just under what Impact had projected.  They expect tonight's attendance to be higher since it's a Friday. (405? LMAO).

Sabu was a last minute addition to the TV tapings as he was added late last week.  He and Rob Van Dam will be appearing tonight but will not be on either of the streaming specials this week.

There was a vignette taped featuring Killer Kross torturing someone who was supposed to be The Sandman.  The vignette was pre-taped before Sandman arrived in NYC, so they had someone else stand-in for the former ECW World Champion.

Havok's opponent last night was NYC-based wrestler Masha Slamovich, who is working for WSU this weekend. She was very good in her role.

LAX's Ortiz was backstage last night.  LAX did not appear on last night's taping.

Alisha Edwards was also backstage last night but not used.
