Greg Valentine - Why My Four Horsemen Deal Fell Through in WCW

Back in 1988, WCW Wrestling offered the Hammer a contract to join the Four Horsemen. Jim Ross made the call and a meeting was held with Jim Crockett and JJ Dillon. Plans were to turn Barry Windham a babyface, inserting Valentine into the group. In WWF, Greg was fed up with his New Dream Team pairing with Dino Bravo. After Vince McMahon asked him to do the job (lose) for the Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair, Jumping Jim Brunzell) at Madison Square Garden, Valentine hopped a plane and quit the WWF. Interestingly enough, Hulk Hogan happened to be on the same flight. By the time they landed, Vince already caught word about Valentine's offer. If it wasn't for a lengthy phone call (including promises for a WWF return), Greg turned down the WCW offer.

Jimmy Uso Has Been Arrested For DUI, Again

TMZ.com reported this morning that WWE star Jonathan "Jimmy Uso" Fatu was arrested and charged with DUI. Uso was pulled over last night at 10:35 PM EST in Pensacole, Florida after being caught going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.  He was found to have a blood alcohol content of .205, according to TMZ.

Fatu has already bonded out of Escambia County Corrections in Florida.

This would be the third known arrest for Fatu over the last several years.

In July 2019, Fatu was also arrested Pensacola, Florida and charged with DUI after he was pulled over at 3:04 AM after authorities observed him "driving erratically" and "swerving left and right."  The police report at the time claimed that Uso "reeked" of alcohol and refused to undergo testing at the scene to test him for intoxication.

In February 2019, Uso was arrested in Detroit, Michigan after authorities pulled over the car his wife Naomi was driving as she was driving the wrong way on a one way street. In that incident, Uso got out of the car, despite being told not to do so and took off his jacket and acted as if he wanted to fight.   He eventually calmed down and listened to the police officers who stopped the car.  Uso was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice at the time.  He plead no contest and ended up paying a fine.

WWE has yet to comment.

Here's the TMZ story on it. https://www.tmz.com/2021/07/06/jimmy-uso-arrest-dui-again-florida-wwe-jonathan-fatu/
