Four Horsemen Reunion, Indy results and upcoming shows.

There will be a Four Horseman reunion Saturday with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and J.J. Dillon at the MCW Arena in Joppa, MD at 4 p.m. before a show that night. Rosa Mendes will also be there. MCW also has a show on 2/24 in Hollywood, MD, at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department with Tammy Sytch, Kruger (formerly Adam Rose) and Swoggle.

The 2000 documentary "Gaea Girls," about training for a women's pro wrestling company in Japan, will be screened on 3/1 at the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, NY.

Results from Pro Wrestling Mid South on Friday night in Ripley, TN: Koko Anderson b Casanova, Sharknado b Amigo Loco, Brandon White b Kid Wrestling, Morgan Williams b Josh Matthews, Matt Riviera b Greg Anthony. This group runs every Friday night in Ripley.

Cleveland Knights Championship Wrestling announced what they said was the first All-Puerto Rican PPV main event ever in he U.S. with Thunder & Lightning defending their CKPW tag titles against Angel Fashion & Mike Mendoza. (of course they didn't give a date or location, DUH!)

AAW has a sold out show on Saturday night in Chicago at the Logan Square Auditorium with Sami Callihan vs. Tetsuya Naito. Also on the show are ACH, DJZ, David Starr, Jeff Cobb, Trevor Lee and Teddy Hart. They also run 3/16 in Merrionette Park, IL at 115 Bourbon Street with Jushin Liger, ACH, Sami Callihan, David Starr and Eddie Kingston. There are also meet and greets with Naito before the show and Liger before the show.

NWX on 2/25 in St. Catharines, ONT at the CWF Training Facility at 20 Hartzel Rd., has a 2:30 p.m. show.

Does James Ellsworth stand a chance against the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis? This is the entire match from The Aldis Crusade with Ten Pounds of Gold. James Ellsworth is first challengerfor the Ten Pounds of Gold during this historic crusade by the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

James Ellsworth came within a half of a second of defeating AJ Styles for the WWE Worlds Championship. This match was set up as a "day off" by Nick Aldis manager Austin Idol. This selection by Idol has been quite polarizing by fans on the merits and skill of James Ellsworth. He is the first of the twenty men to challenge for the famous Ten Pound of Gold title. James Ellsworth has wrestled AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Becky Lynch and many more in WWE. Nick Aldis wants to prove what kind of champion he is during The Aldis Crusade with Ten Pounds of Gold. James Ellsworth wants to prove that "any man with two hands stands a chance."

Charges were dropped but yet, RICH SWANN RELEASED BY WWE

Fire the guy even though the charges were dropped. hhhmmm Sounds petty to me if you ask me.

WWE announced today that 205 Live star Rich Swann, 27-years old, had been released by the company with the following statement on their website:

"Rich Swann and WWE have mutually agreed to part ways as of today, February 15, 2018.  WWE wishes Swann the best in all of his future endeavors."

Obviously, while it won't be stated as such, it was fallout of Swann's arrest in December 2018 where he was charged with false imprisonment/kidnapping and a misdemeanor charge of battery- touching or striking.  The victim in the alleged incident was Swann's wife, Vannarah Riggs, who performs as Su Yung on the independent wrestling scene and earlier this year, debuted for Impact Wrestling.

WWE immediately suspended Swann under the company's domestic violence policy, which states, "WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated."

In the days following the incident, Swann's wife had publicly posted positive comments about her husband on social media.  The charges were later dropped due to "insufficient evidence" according to court records.

Swann's attorney, Ian Pickens, issued the following statement in the wake of the charges being dropped: "We are very pleased with the resolution of these charges. We would like to thank the State Attorney’s Office for conducting a thorough investigation, as well as Mr. Swann’s family, friends, and fans that supported him through this.   During our representation of Mr. Swann, we have come to know him as a kind and humble young man, who we believe has a bright future ahead of him. We are hopeful that with the dismissal of these charges Mr. Swann will be able to return to the WWE and our firm will do everything we can to assist him in returning to the ring. Thank you.”

As it turned out, WWE never brought Swann, who had been in a storyline where he was poised to challenge then-WWE Cruiserweight champion Enzo Amore, back.

Swann was signed by WWE to a NXT deal in 2015 after several years of headlining for EVOLVE and touring Japan with Dragon Gate.  The charismatic talent was brought to prominence in WWE as part of the Cruiserweight Classic, where he talked of pro wrestling saving his life in the wake of the deaths of his parents.

One would assume Swann will resume performing on the independent scene, possibly after a ninety-day no compete plays out

The 4/22 Impact Wrestling Redemption PPV will take place at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida, the company announced this afternoon.

The original plan for the event was to hold it in Toronto, but no venue was ever officially locked in and Toronto was never officially announced.
