Former WWE and TNA performer Tyrus, Brodus Clay, was Reportedly removed from his Fox News show Un-PC

Former WWE and TNA performer Tyrus, Brodus Clay, was Reportedly removed from his Fox News show Un-PC due to a sexual-harassment complaint filed by co-host BrittMcHenry.
The Daily Beast reported that McHenry was sent numerous unsolicited text messages by Tyrus. Tyrus, whose real name is George Murdoch, allegedly sent such texts to McHenry which contained lewd and sexual statements.
Tyrus originally co-hosted Un-PC with Britt McHenry before being moved to his own show called NUFFSAID after 'a personal dispute' had occurred between he and McHenry in April. Tyrus was questioned by The Hollywood Reporter's Jeremy Barr via Twitter about the incident to which Tyrus responded: 'No comment and don't message me again'.
According to two sources who previously were employed by Fox News, Tyrus had a history of making jokes and comments in politically incorrect nature, adding that his sense of humor is considered to be 'wild'. It was said by others with knowledge of Tyrus's professional environment that he had a long history of acting outwardly angry towards crew members.
As of now, Tyrus has not made any statement on the incident. Co-Host and complaintee McHenry has yet to comment either.
Tyrus was released by the WWE in 2014. Following his release, he began a four year stint with TNA Wrestling before finally transitioning into a political commentator role with Fox News.

Road Dogg On What He Gets From WWE NXT That He Missed With SmackDown, New Role At The WWE PC, More

WWE Hall of Famers Sean "X-Pac" Waltman and "Road Dogg" BG James recently got together for a discussion on Waltman's "#XPAC12360" podcast. You can find the full interview in the video above, or via Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The show also sent us highlights from the interview.
Regarding James' new role with WWE NXT, he said he gets a relationship and camaraderie that he missed as the lead writer of SmackDown.
"For me to get to work with the guys and build a relationship with them and have that camaraderie because it is something I missed as the lead writer [of Smackdown]…. For Smackdown I wouldn't even go out there and do rehearsals anymore. I very rarely talked to the talent because I was just in the writers room or in with Vince going over the show or you know whatever we were doing. I was kind of isolated away on the creative side of the railroad tracks so this is a disconnect. And then the talent calls me on a Wednesday when I'm in prepping for a meeting to go in to pitch a show or whatever...," James said.
James also praised the formula that has been used to build to the NXT Takeover events. James pointed to the recent NXT "Takeover: XXV" event and said that proved these specials don't need to "piggyback" onto another, larger event like a WWE pay-per-view.
"What I love so much about it is and I think it's part of the formula that people like is; look there's five matches," James said. "You go to the live event you can probably get six or eight matches but you tune in for Takeover you get five matches, six tops. And all the titles are on the line and it's not every month, so the titles and the story can build a little longer... revenue is great for the for the Takeovers and this last one proved that it doesn't necessarily have to coattail or piggyback a bigger event so it stood on its own, in a town that we don't run a whole bunch anymore and so it did really well."
James revealed that he worked as the producer for Matt Riddle's win over Roderick Strong at the 25th Takeover special, which was the opening match. "Road Dogg" let Riddle and Strong have a lot of control with the match.
"So I was the producer on that match and I don't think I'm telling stories out of school here," James revealed. "But they came to me and I said, 'Guys I'm 50 years old and I got over by ducking a clotheslines and wiggling my knees. I don't dare put my foot into your wrestling ring today because I'm just gonna screw you up. So y'all do your thing and let me wrap my head around all the things you're doing so that I can make sure cameras are in the right place so we can shoot it.'"
James is also working at the WWE Performance Center under the new NXT gig. He said there is no official job title for him at the PC yet, and that the job is still evolving.
"The job here is not etched in stone and it's kind of still evolving," he said. "You [Sean Waltman] were there with me yesterday when we worked all day on entrances and you know I'm not great at the technical wrestling crap but I'm pretty good at the television aspect of what we do."

Eli Drake Discusses His Impact Wrestling Departure, Turning Down Match With Tessa Blanchard

Eli Drake's four-year run with Impact Wrestling came to an end recently with he and Impact decided to move on from each other. Drake is now a free agent for the first time in years and he spoke to Wrestling Inc. on their WINCLY podcast today about moving on from Impact.
"It was a decision I made earlier this year and I talked to them about the idea that I was probably gonna move on. Credit to Ed Nordholm as we hashed everything out and figured out how I could move on without a 12-month non-compete. As of Monday or Tuesday of this week, I am officially good to move on," said Drake.
It's no secret that Drake and Impact didn't always see eye-to-eye when it comes to creative. Drake says his unsure status about his future played a part in what was booked for him.
"My contract was up. They didn't know if I was leaving and I didn't know if I was leaving. So of course, you're gonna be written a particular way if it's believed that you're gonna be leaving," Drake said before adding that he actually liked some of the material Impact gave him to work with such as working with Abyss.
"As far as creatively, here is one of the most repeated phrases I would hear backstage, 'You made my job so much easier' because I could do a take one time and be done with it. Because they would let me do my own thing, they had an idea of where they wanted to go, but it was like, 'Here's what we want. You know how to do it. Let's make it happen.'"
Drake didn't want to take part in an intergender match with Tessa Blanchard at United We Stand which further drove a wedge between he and the promotion. He was asked if he regretted not taking the match vs. Blanchard.
"I don't regret it. I don't apologize. I don't feel any of that," stated Drake. "I feel a particular way about the wrestling business, and there's a lot of parody or play wrestling, if you will. Comedy and silliness has a place in wrestling, but there's still gotta be some level of believability.
Drake said the height and weight difference he has over Tessa made the match unrealistic. He also said that he didn't want to do the match because he knew he was leaving the company and knew what the outcome would be.
"It was not a knock against anyone other than me just trying to protect my own brand," said Drake before adding a match against a larger women's wrestler like Awesome Kong or Chyna would have been more believable.
"Absolutely. Much more believable to me. You look at Chyna for instance – more believable. The size does make a difference."
Despite Drake refusing to do the job, he says that there wasn't much of a reaction backstage to his decision to not go through with the match.
"I got a lot of text messages from guys saying, 'Thank you for not taking that.' But to me it wasn't a political stance, but a lot of people took it that way," said Drake. "I don't think most of the people in the locker room care. Some people saw my side of it and some saw the side of why I should do it. But no one in the locker room was that vocal about anything."
Drake also mentioned that he showed up to TV a few weeks after the match was supposed to happen and everyone, including Blanchard, was cool with him.
Drake won three championships during his time in Impact and said those were the highlights of his tenure there.
"If you're talking about on-screen [highlights], basically becoming champion: King of the Mountain champion, Tag Team champion with Scott Steiner. Just the fact that I got to go places I've never been before like India and the UK," said Drake.
"I think I won the Feast or Fired briefcase every time I was in the match," Drake said before adding he also won Race for the Case in 2017. "…Backstage, it was an amazing atmosphere and lots of good friends there. I was considered "party dad" because I was the guy who would get the party buses set up."
