THIS... Is The Best They Could Come Up With? DAVID ARQUETTE REPLACING JOEY RYAN AT LA CONFIDENTIAL
Why not book Swoggle vs Ellsworth in a "Street Fight" match too while you're at it (rolls eyes)
With Joey Ryan unable to wrestle at Joey Janela's LA Confidential, Nick Gage has a new opponent for the show.
Janela and Game Changer Wrestling announced today that Gage will now defend his GCW World Championship against actor and former WCW World Champion David Arquette at the event. Arquette made his return to professional wrestling earlier this year.
Ryan, who potentially suffered a torn pec last week, tweeted an injury update today and noted that he's still awaiting MRI results to learn the extent of the injury: "I’m still awaiting MRI results to know the extent. Unfortunately I have to pull off of @BarWrestling, @GCWrestling_ & @newwrestling1 this week. I will however still be on the @WSWWrestlingAUS Australia tour next week but likely in a meet & greet fashion only."
Janela's LA Confidential is taking place at The Hi Hat in Los Angeles, California this Friday, which is during Survivor Series weekend in the city. The show will air live on Fite TV.
I Get To Put Someone At WrestlingInc In Check, Again (They Don't Do Any Research It Seems)
The following screenshots comes from WrestlingInc's own web page. A story they posted about Bill Dundee.
As you can see they claim Dundee is a Multi time NWA and AWA Champion, which is complete bullshit. Now I'd go ahead and reply to this story and let them know upfront that they're wrong but as you can see by the second shot, I can't. WrestlingInc has banned me from replying to any of their stories. Why? Because I've had to put them in check on things they've posted in the past and this is their way of responding to the fact that they got checked, with facts and proof. So instead of correcting themselves and crediting me with helping THEM, get their story/facts straight. Someone there (and I have a good idea WHO, that is) decided that banning me for putting them in their place with facts was better than them correcting themselves. So I'm unable to personally tell them that they are once again, incorrect and WRONG, on their claims about Dundee being NWA and AWA Champion.
And before anyone can say 'bullshit' about what i say? Proof is a mother fucker and I'm always a mother fucker, who has proof. So here it is, proof that of course, I know what I'm talking about and some people at WrestlingInc, don't.
Right from the Wikipedia post on Dundee's bio is this nice list of titles he's held. Take a good look because, NOWHERE! Does it say he's been NWA or.. AWA Champion. He's been AWA TAG TEAM Champion with Jerry Lawler. Hell I remember that because I grew up watching the AWA and remember seeing it when it actually happened. The closest thing Dundee has come to being a 'world' singles champion is as you see in the shots, USWA 'Unified' world champion. Which was really a version of the AWA championship that Lawler once held and was STRIPPED OF, when he went and created his own 'Unified' World title belt.
So at least with me? I give you facts, I give you stories based on facts and I can supply proof to back my shit up at any time. Unlike as you see here with WrestlingInc, who doesn't do any real research before they go and post something, and will be really pissed off when they find out this story is out there, putting them in check, again. The least you can do, is do some actual fucking research. It took me ninety seconds to get the proof I needed that staff at WrestlingInc were incorrect on their claims here. Ninety... F'N... Seconds.. Think about that.
So by all means let the staff at WrestlingInc know they've been checked, again. I'm unable to and you can see why, they block people like me who have the balls to fact check their shit. SSOO, since I can't let them know personally thanks to them banning me I'll just put them in their place right here, with this story. Just think, in the time it took for them to post their story, they actually could've did some checking to see if Dundee actually WAS, NWA or AWA Champion. They didn't which now thanks to me putting them in their place one more time, shows you just how, lazy they seem to be there. You can thank me now for being a guy who seems to know more, than the so called 'bigger names and sites' out there :)

Notes on MLW And Their Recent Show In Cicero (Not Chicago, Since Cicero Is Just OUTSIDE Chicago)
The show broke several records for the promotion. It was the best attendance in company history, as well as the biggest gate in the history of MLW, dating back to its first event in 2002. The event set merchandise sale records and speaking to several wrestlers, they did incredible business selling their own merchandise as well. We are told that Cicero Stadium concessions were so packed that the venue was sold out of several food items by intermission.
The locker room morale coming out of the show was said to be have been excellent as well. The crowd reactions were described as great and that fed into the energy in the locker room, which several said was the best since the company restarted. Tommy Dreamer was described as a “Godsend” in terms of his help behind the scenes and Konnan continues to get praised by younger talents as “getting their vision” and working with them on how to make it work, as opposed to shooting things down.
The debut of CMLL star Rush got a massive reaction. He came out to his authentic theme music from Mexico, which MLW’s Court Bauer was able to gain clearance for through his hip hop connections. The idea is to build to Rush vs. L.A. Park and bring that rivalry here.
BeIN Sports had a team at the show, shooting photos and additional video material for usage on their network, including segments that will be worked into their Locker Room daily sports desk broadcasts.
The taping went longer than usual as the promotion needed to film five weeks’ worth of content. They usually film four hours.
MJF got a ton of heat before his flag match with Puma King cutting a USA vs. Mexico promo. It was described as like the type of heat Americans would get in AAA working heels in the 1990s. There have been a lot who have compared MJF to Chris Candido behind the scenes.
Lagunitas Beer, an MLW sponsor, sent several congratulatory cases of beer to the locker room for a little post-show celebration.
Brody King was said to be working through a hip issue at the show.
Joey Ryan worked despite what is believed to have been a pectoral muscle tear suffered the night before in Austin, Texas. His tag match with Swoggle was laid out to protect him and to allow Swoggle to work more of the bout. Ryan was adamant that he didn’t want to let fans down and did everything he could to work around the injury without complicating matters. He was said to have been in good spirits despite not knowing what he was in for medically. On his Facebook page, Ryan noted, "My doctor thinks my chest has a tear somewhere in it because of all the swelling and is worried about it healing in the wrong place and causing me discomfort forever." He was scheduled to get an X-Ray and MRI today, but as of this posting there's no official update on the injury, how it will be treated or how long he could technically be out of the ring.
They ran an angle where Shane Strickland was upset after losing his MLW title bout against Champion Low Ki that spilled over onto social media. Strickland cut a promo that was described as a tantrum knocking the promotion as well as Court Bauer and MLW fans. The core idea, which sounds as if it has echoes of the night Bret Hart railed against WWF on Monday Night Raw years ago, was that Strickland was blaming fans for wanting pro wrestling that was bad for wrestling and was wrong. He pushed that he was sick of being screwed over despite all his hard work. Strickland had been wiped out early in the Wargames a few months ago and taken out without getting any revenge on Sami Callihan. He and Bauer went back and forth on Twitter as well. There’s been talk of WWE interest in Strickland off and on over the last year, so it should be interesting to see where this goes and whether it’s the beginning of an exit strategy for him.
UFC Fighter Julianna Pena, currently ranked at #3 was in the front row.
