I guess they just never learn, do they.
On the heels of Wrestlinginc getting caught doing this exact same thing yesterday ( https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2025/01/wrestlinginc-journalists-caught.html ) and obviously not learning the lesson another 'journalist' from the same site (Bryan Rose.. https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2024/11/wrestling-observer-journalist-bryan.html ) here we have yet another, ahem... "Journalist" who has to go to a paid subscription site to steal stories so he can use them on the site he works for.
And just like the people who were busted yesterday? This guy actually shows us, WHERE, he stole the story from.
They really aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer.
So since this guy Ian isn't creative enough to actually go get his own stories, let's see where he's been stealing huis 'stories' from, shall we?
Scroll down this story to about... Here... And what do you see?
Now guess what happens when you click on the word "reporting" in red. Do you think it takes you over to Fightful's free site?
WWEEEL, you're about to find out now because I went ahead and clicked it for you.
YYEEAAHHH no, no free site here. You actually have to be a paid subscriber to access this.
I guess he didn't think about that when he posted that link, did he.
This isn't the first time Ian Carey's been busted doing this. Back in 2023 we here at WP&P busted him for stealing stories from PWINsider's "Elite" (Paid subscription) site. https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2023/02/wonf4w-staff-writer-blatantly-steals.html and when we requested comment from ian on getting caught stealing stories, this was what he did.
Ian couldn't hadle the fact he was so easily caught, story on that is here. https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2023/02/update-of-sorts-on-ian-carey-story-i-did.html
I wonder what his response will be now that he again has allowed himself to get busted so easily, AGAIN?
Of course if he was a real 'journalist' he wouldn't HAVE to go to other paid sites and steal stories from them. Makes you go, HHHMMMM doesn't it.
Be glad that we here at Wrestling Past And Present don't have to do that. We've always been a little better than tat, and this story, like yesterday's story on this topic, proves it.
