More Impact Wrestling stuff (I'm sure there's two fans somewhere that want to know this)
With Jeremy Borash having left for WWE, the announced revival of Live Audio
Wrestling on Impact's Twitch channel is off. No word on if or when it returns.
Thanks to Big Kev.
Dixie Carter tweeted the following responding to her former Chief of Staff Rockstar Spud AK new 205 Live GM Drake Maverick making his WWE debut last night:
Impact Wrestling today announced a new stable led by Gama Singh called 'Desi Hit Squad' will be debuting over the next few months. The group will consist of Rohit Raju (formerly known as Hakim Zane), Vikas Kumar, Gursinder Singh (Canadian indie talent Tony Cage), and Bhupinder Singh. The choice of the name is odd given the well know Hit Squad tag team in the Northeast, who the company is aware of as they were originally going to be hired to be part of LAX before EYFBO got the nod as Hit Squad were called too late and were unable to take time off of their regular jobs to do a week of TV tapings. Even odder, Impact regularly works with WrestlePro where Dan Maff of the Hit Squad is a top talent.
Speaking of WrestlePro, the 2/3 WrestlePro event in Rahway, NJ, which is doubling as an Impact Wrestling taping, will not stream live on Impact's Twitch.TV channel, but via taped delay a week after the event, which features:
*Tenille Dashwood (fka Emma) vs. Angelina Love
*Fallah Bahh vs. Alberto El Patron
*Bobby Wayward vs, Eddie Edwards
*Chris Payne vs. Matt Sydal
*Johnny Impact vs. Danny Maff
*Braxton & Allie vs. Nikos Rikos and Nikki Adams

ROH Stuff
Ring of Honor announced:
Stardom’s dominant Oedo Tai faction is well-represented in the tournament to crown the first Women of Honor Champion! In addition to the leader of Oedo Tai, Kagetsu’s tag team partner, one half of the Goddess of Stardom Champions, second-generation star Hana Kimura has entered the tournament to crown the first Women of Honor Champion!
Hana uses an explosive variety of moves such as the missile dropkick, suplexes, big boots, and standing dropkicks to stun and defeat her opponents. The 20-year old competitor is just days older than the tournament’s youngest competitor HZK but has a number of championships under her belt that illustrate her fast rise!
In addition to being one half of the current Goddess of Stardom Champions, Hana has also held Stardom’s six-woman championship, The Artist of Stardom with Kagetsu and her legendary mother and former Women of Honor competitor Kyoko Kimura!
Despite being so early in her career, Hana has shown she is extremely capable of capturing gold and she believes the Women of Honor Championship could be the perfect fashion accessory!
She told ROHWrestling.com, “WOH Championship belt will be around I Oedotai Hana Kimura’s waist. The Pink, Black, and Gold belt is perfect for me.” She elaborated, “Pink= Cute, Black = Strong, and Gold = Gorgeous. These are all perfect for me because I am all of them. I will do whatever it takes to put that belt around my waist!”

IMPACT EXECUTIVES TALK DEPARTURE OF BORASH AND MORE
Talk about toeing the company line and trying to play it off like it's no big deal, when it really is and everyone knows it.
Newsweek featured an interview with Impact Wrestling's Ed Nordholm, Scott D'Amore and Don Callis, discussing where the company stands and their recent exodus of talent, including Jeremy Borash.
Nordholm on Borash: "“[Borash] is leaving and joining the WWE. We wish him all the best. He’s a talented guy and has been with the company forever. But we have a lot of talented guys—change is good and it gives other guys a chance to step up.”
D'Amore on Borash: "We always wish Jeremy well. I got one of my first breaks [from him]—Jeremy hired me to be a producer at World Wrestling All-Stars. But we have editors on our team who don’t get the notoriety that Jeremy does. We have great players ready to step up."
D'Amore on EC3: "His contract was not up. He came to us, we had a frank discussion about where he saw himself going. We decided to sit down and work something out that worked for us on how we’d wrap up this portion of his career. I didn’t watch NXT TakeOver but when he showed up on screen and my phone started blowing up, I texted him: ‘Congratulations. All the best to you. You’ve got nothing but love and support from us here. And if you need anything, you know where we are.’ And he wrote back the same thing.”
Nordholm on Bobby Lashley: "Bobby is free to figure out what he wants to do next, whether it be wrestling or mixed martial arts. We wish him all the best. He’s a great talent, it’s foolish to say, ‘No, we wouldn’t want to retain him,’ but he has his own ambitions about what he thinks is good for him next in his career."
Don Callis categorized the change as good, pointing out the recently influx of Brian Cage, Austin Aries and John Hennigan into the company.
