Larry Zbyszko is angry over his being stripped of the National Heavyweight title he never actually won. The month prior, Zbyszko paid "Killer" Tim Brooks $25,000 for it if he could defeat then National Heavyweight Champion Paul Orndorff. Solie mentions a televised elimination tournament to determine a new champion. Then, Ric Flair comes out and taunts Tommy "Wildfire" Rich in a heated exchange. In between all of that, Gordon Solie (along with Ole Anderson) gives commentary over Omni footage of a match between Brian Blair and Tito Santana taking on Arn Anderson and Matt Borne with Paul Ellering at ringside. Rich and Flair come back out and says Rich has never beat him and Rich and Solie have to correct the record. WCW, April 1983.

WWE NXT UK'S JOSEPH CONNERS REPORTEDLY BECOMES A FREE AGENT
Joseph Conners, a longtime roster member of WWE NXT UK, is now reportedly a free agent.
The news was first reported by BodySlam.net. It's unknown whether his departure was his decision or WWE's.
Conners made a surprise appearance for indie British Wrestling Revolution on Friday, attacking their heavyweight champion after the main event. Conners tweeted a two-minute promo Saturday afternoon along with "No Restrictions." On Sunday, it was announced he will be making an appearance for Wrestle Carnival in late-January.
The 34-year-old competed in the first-ever NXT UK title tournament in January 2017, but also worked frequently on the indie circuit during his time there. While mainly on the NXT UK brand, Conners did make his main roster debut in 2017 as part of 205 Live when WWE was touring in England.
He only appeared in four NXT UK matches in 2020 and just six matches this year with the last one airing in July.

I guess McMahon is paying Michaels a lot of money if he can come out and blatantly lie like this.
WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels was recently interviewed by Jim Varsallone about NXT. And here's the quote.
Shawn Michaels spoke about the focus on young wrestlers in NXT 2.0. He stated they are the only brand in the world that is pushing completely fresh talent. Forgetting that there's dozens of indie groups that are doing the same and up until recently, NXT was GETTING their talent from those indie groups.
Nice try though Shawnyboy, nice try.. Better luck next time.

What's simple is, he's full of shit and many people know it.
There's so many indie groups out there that are doing what Shawn CLAIMS to be doing, BUT.. Knowing how bad NXT has been since Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard got a hold of it.. Shawn's claims here don't hold much water.
Again, nice try.. But we know you're just saying, what you're PAID and TOLD, to say.
New Talent Soon To Be Seen In The NWA And Why Crowd Was So Small At The Hard Times Pay Per View
Raven started with the company last night as part of a new weekly TV series NWA USA appearing as a color commentator.
Other names working the TV taping included George South, Jay Bradley and Wrecking Ball Legursky. Bradley and Legursky will be linked together on screen.
If you are a fan of the old Nick Aldis-Douglas Williams British Invasion team in TNA, there are plans to reunite them on camera on NWA TV.
Madusa will soon have an on camera role for the company as well.
The reason why the NWA PPV tonight had such a small crowd, it was a situation forced upon the company just a few days ago. The NWA was informed on 11/30 that since GBS Studios in Atlanta are government funded they were being held to a more restrictive standard and would not allow more than 90 fans to attend this weekend's events, including tonight's PPV.
There were a number of fans who had tickets refunded from the PPV with the NWA's Kyle Davis personally reaching out to apologize and passing along the following message from NWA President Billy Corgan:
'To say the ongoing pandemic has been a challenge in running live events is an understatement, as it has for anyone who has been adversely affected by what remains this ongoing health and safety crisis. And though this latest setback will not deter us from going 'on with the show', we appreciate your understanding today so as to not have to turn anyone away at the door; as this is certainly a circumstance beyond our control.'
