The list of names who have carried the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title include names like Ric Flair, Lou Thesz, Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, Jack Brisco, Terry Funk, Dory Funk, Adam Pearce, AJ Styles and more. The name Tim Storm is new to many professional wrestling fans but the voice inside Tim has driven him to greatness.

As you learn about the current, reigning and defending NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, you'll go inside his head and hear his real voice.

The legacy of NWA Wrestling is tied to the famous 10lbs of Gold and the men who held it.

And LOOK who finally corrected the info on the Roddy Piper Film in his 'daily update' today (yet doesn't credit me with the fact I corrected his ass, imagine that, lol)

This is from the f4WON webpage 'daily update' for today. Guess he doesn't have the balls to mention I was the one who had more info on this (which I posted yesterday and today) than he did. Still nice that I was able to one up him and put him check on his negligence, lol.

BILLY CORGAN TALKS NWA ON HOWARD STERN SHOW

During an appearance to promote his new album today on the Howard Stern Show, Billy Corgan discussed his purchase of the National Wrestling Alliance.

Stern asked Corgan if he was still involved in professional wrestling.  Corgan said he had purchased the NWA and now owned the oldest wrestlng brand in the world.  Stern noted that Corgan was involved in a different company, TNA.  Corgan said they fired him after three months because the "$1.8 million I invested wasn't enough."  Corgan said, "They tried to steal my money" but that they had come to a settlement, he had gotten his money back and now he's invested into the National Wrestling Alliance.

Corgan said he was starting the company.  He said like any entertainment brand that has fallen on hard times, he wants to build it back up and said it was a brand that people know.  Stern said that it must be expensive to run a wrestling league.  Corgan said its not an easy business and when you walk into a board room in Los Angeles trying to sell people on wrestling, "Good luck."  Corgan said he knows it sounds strange, but doing something outside of music allows him to have a better attitude about music, because when he's working on music, he gets to really enjoy it, because it's not everything, 24/7.

Stern asked Corgan who the greatest wrestler today was.  Corgan said AJ Styles, but then noted that to him, size is important, and said it's probably also Brock Lesnar.

Corgan said he was involved in storylines in TNA, but wants to be behind the scenes in the NWA.

He was asked who his wrestlers were.  Corgan said they would be running shows by the Spring and referred to the NWA as a "distressed brand" that they are starting over.

Bet the weak bitches at WWE won't like this, LOL! Fire Jimmy Jacobs for taking a photo, eh?

    credit this from ProWrestling.net..

Maybe Roman Reigns should just keep his mouth shut.

Getting punked online by another wrestler in another company, ESPECIALLY when that wrestler left the company you're in in the dust and went on to better things? Yeah Roman maybe it's best you just don't tweet anymore, you're not making yourself or the company you work for look good. I bet McMahon wouldn't like seeing this, LOL.

Bersides, when has Roman himself drew a 100k house? UUMMM, never.

    New Impact Wrestling Knockouts title

Knockouts Champion Sienna was at a Border City Wrestling event last night and wore a new title that says "Impact" in the middle and "Women's Champion" above and below that. It looks like Impact will be moving on from the GFW name in the near future. As noted, Jeff Jarrett still owned the rights to the GFW name and with him taking an indefinite leave of absence from the company, Anthem switched back to the Impact Wrestling name.

    credit Wrestlinginc for this.

Since Dave Meltzer can't get all the info out on the Piper Film, I'll do it for you.

Melzer didn't put this in his plug for the film in his 'daily update' yesterday, and if I were to show you his reply to my inquiry about it, yu'd shake your head at how ob;ivious he is in alot of ways, and/or just plain lazy when it comes to these things. So here's the press release on the Piper Film that Melzer and his F4/WON staff refused post. I'm beating them to the punch on this, which isn't really surprising.

    New Roddy Piper Film Production
A percentage of all sales go to Doernbecher Children's Hospital

On 31st July 2015 the world lost one of the most recognizable and successful wrestling personalities of all time, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. A new film production is now available to stream from Nine Legends director David Sinnott which features never before seen footage of "The Hot Rod" titled: "Roddy Piper: In His Own Words". Dig deep inside a forty year career which was spotlighted in the WWE and WCW as well as the big screen, including the lead role in John Carpenter's cult classic, "They Live".

David Sinnott: "This project meant a lot to me to put together. I have fond memories of working with Piper on another project and it didn't sit well with me that so much great footage was locked away in a vault. I recall his daughter was present for the entirety of our film shoot and it was clearly evident that he was a decent family man. It was important for me to connect with Roddy's wife, Kitty Toombs, for input on this project."

Kitty Toombs: "This is Roddy, candid, serious and at times laughing at himself as he digs into some of the psychology and experiences that propelled him in and out of the wrestling arena."

A percentage of all sales will be donated to the Doernbecher Children's Hospital, a hospital which had a special place in Roddy's heart.

Kitty Toombs: "Roddy saw first hand during his decades in Portland, Oregon the groundbreaking, good work being done at the Doernbecher Children Hospital. Throughout the years he loved giving time volunteering as a celebrity during fundraisers but even more so, just stopping by to roam the halls and chat with the children. He shared with his family how those kids were the real heroes and what they gave him was far more than they ever realized."

Roddy Piper: In His Own Words is available to stream now at www.ninelegendsfilm.com for $7.99, which includes access to "Nine Legends", starring Bill Goldberg, Mike Tyson and Chris Jericho.
