WrestlingInc Shows What Hypocrites They Are When It Comes To Stories They're Afraid Of.
The
people over at WrestlingInc crack me up. They're the first ones to
post a story about how this wrestler or that wrestler calls someone
out (or ridicules a fan) on Twitter. Hence this example right here.
https://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/02/seth-rollins-calls-out-becky-lynch-for-adult-language-on-650876/ Where they boast on Seth Rollins calling out Becky Lynch on Twitter.
BUT...
When a story like THIS,
https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2019/02/km-of-impact-wrestling-gets-checked-on.html Which is a story I did on how KM over at Impact Wrestling got checked
by acouple fans on Twitter, WrestlingInc... After being shown this
story, puts on the chicken suit and runs scared away from it. They,
like the other major newes sites like Torch, PWInsider and the 20
something news sites on Twitter all get scared when I have a story of
a wrestler getting put in his place by fans.
The evidence is there, the proof is right before their very eyes, BUT.. Show them a story like that and the sounds of chickens come from their side of the street, imagine that.
The evidence is there, the proof is right before their very eyes, BUT.. Show them a story like that and the sounds of chickens come from their side of the street, imagine that.
I
guess it comes down to who has the guts to tell it like it, and they,
unlike me, don't have them kind of balls. It's too bad nobody asks
places like WrestlingInc why that is? I'd love to see how they'd try
and dance around the issue. :)
Pedro Morales Passes Away
Former WWWF Champion Pedro Morales, the first man to accomplish the WWF Championship Triple Crown and hold the WWWF title, the WWF Intercontinental and the WWF Tag Team Championship, has passed away at the age of 76.
Morales passing was first announced by former WWF announcer Hugo Savinovich.
Morales had been battling Parkinson's disease in recent years.
Morales, an extremely popular competitor, was such a beloved babyface that there was a legitimate sense of fear the audience would riot when he lost the WWWF title to Stan Stasiak in Philadelphia, the ring announcer simply said, "Let's hear it for Pedro Morales" and then the next day, the title change was reporting in newspapers. On another occasion, a fan stabbed Blackjack Mulligan in the back with a butcher knife as he was on his way to the ring to challenge Morales for the title in Boston. His bond with the audience, especially Latin fans, was massive.
Morales was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1995.

Mat Memory- 28-Fall Texas Death Match! Jerry Lawler, Dutch Mantell vs Bill Dundee, Buddy Landel (3-24-86)
A quick studio promo followed by recap footage of the resulting Texas Death Match which took place in Memphis at the Mid-South Coliseum featuring Jerry Lawler and Dutch Mantel versus Bill Dundee and Buddy Landel.
The angle begins as Buddy Landel and Bill Dundee enter the studio and chase Lance Russell away. Now controlling the mic , Bill and Buddy draw heat until Jerry Lawler and Dutch Mantel show up to run them out of the studio. Lawler then cuts a promo for Monday night and we segue to highlight footage of their classic Texas Death Match that goes an astounding 28 falls!
Pay attention--during the match, some really good work occurs. Particularly when Lawler wails on Buddy Landel's head until he gases himself, then steps back and tees off on Landel who goes airborne. Lance will rightly describe this as "a beauuuuuuuutiful shot." :)
Note: In a Texas Death Match, there are no disqualifications and pin falls count anywhere. After a pin fall, the wrestler pinned has a ten count to get up or get back in the ring. If he fails to do so, he loses the match.
Date: March 24, 1986
Location: WMC TV5 Studio, Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis
Interview, play-by-play: Lance Russell
Referee: Jerry Calhoun
