NWA Reportedly Signs TV Deal With The CW Network
The NWA is reportedly headed to The CW Network.
Billy Corgan teased last week during an appearance on Busted Open Radio that his promotion had recently signed with a "Top 20 network." both TV deal is with The CW, and an official announcement is coming relatively soon. It is believed one of the two deals is for the rights to NWA Power and the other is for a reality TV series based on what happens behind the scenes in the promotion.
In late August, the NWA announced it had made several production upgrades and declared it was entering a "new era." The production upgrades were reportedly made in anticipation of the company's new television deals.
Corgan's company also announced last week the return of its old territory system. EC3's Exodus Pro Wrestling promotion was revealed as the first new affiliate in the system and will now be known as NWA Exodus Pro Midwest. It's been speculated that the new territories could be featured on the NWA's YouTube channel in the future.
