December 25, 1983. St. Paul, Minnesota. Nick Bockwinkel defends the AWA World Heavyweight Title against challenger Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Crusher Lisowski also get involved in the match.
Jacques Rougeau, vs Abdullah the Butcher + Nick Bockwinkel promo (December 21, 1985)
Just before taking off for the WWF early in 1986, Jacques, Jr. & Raymond Rougeau were scheduled for a feud with Abdullah the Butcher and Jos LeDuc. A tag team match was scheduled for the annual Christmas card at the Paul-Sauve Arena on December 21, 1985. However, when LeDuc no-showed, the match was changed to a singles bout between Jacques and Abdullah. Here we have the last few minutes of the match in which Eddie the Brain Creatchman interferes on Abdullah's behalf but gets attacked by the Rougeaus. Milt Avruskin and Gino Brito provide the commentary. Following this match is a typically awesome Nick Bockwinkel promo sent in from the AWA where he announces that he has been contracted by Creatchman to team with The Great Samu against the Rougeaus.
