NWA Powerrr | Episode 1

The National Wrestling Alliance is proud to present the debut episode of NWA Powerrr featuring Nick Aldis vs. Tim Storm for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
The NWA was founded in 1948 to bring a unified vision to professional wrestling and sanction one true Worlds Heavyweight Champion now called The Ten Pounds of Gold. In the 70 plus years, the National Wrestling Alliance place in history has been defined by the wrestlers, champions and events produced. Since the advent of television, the NWA has been there. When Ted Turner brought studio wrestling to TBS, the NWA was there with Georgia Championship Wrestling and then World Championship Wrestling. Today, Lightning One and the National Wrestling Alliance bring studio wrestling to a whole new age. #NWAPowerrr was produced with the age that wrestling fans consume their media. The power is truly in the hands of the performers to walk to the microphone and be their true authentic self. For the fans, it's the opportunity to see a classic wrestling format in a traditional media viewing landscape. NWA President Billy Corgan talked of a 20 year plan when he took control of the National Wrestling Alliance. As we enter our second year, NWA Powerrr is not only Billy Corgan and David Lagana betting on themselves but every talent who walks through that curtain. This the NWA.   This is NWA Powerrr

Master P Getting Into The Pro Wrestling Business With House Of Glory Ownership (OOHHH Boy, Rolls Eyes)

Rapper and multi-millionaire entrepreneur Master P has announced that he is the new owner of the House of Glory indie wrestling promotion.
P, who appeared for WCW during the 1999 feud between the No Limit Soldiers and the West Texas Rednecks, announced today that he is taking over HOG, which is the New York City indie fed that was launched in 2012, ran by The Amazing Red and Brian XL.
The No Limit boss and head of the Miller family issued a warning to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, as seen in the new Instagram video below.
"And we're getting into wrestling! I'm just telling y'all," Master P told a TMZ reporter while promoting his new 'Miller's Family Treasures' lifestyle reality TV show. "Vince McMahon, you in trouble, cause I'm about to take over wrestling."
He continued, "Taking hip-hop to a whole different league. HOG - House of Glory Wrestling. I'm hiring all the top wrestlers, come over here. WWE, come over here to us."
The caption on the video reads like this: "TMZ @romeomiller @cymphonique Our new lifestyle of the elite and wealthy tv show is called 'Miller's Family Treasures' and we are making history by bringing Hip Hop to wrestling. We don't own the NFL, NBA, or MLB but we do own House of Glory aka "HOG". Join the movement #weallwegot @hogwrestling"
It looks like the Miller family will feature HOG on their "Miller's Family Treasures" TV show.
There's no word yet on when Master P and his crew will begin running HOG, or what they have planned.

Update On Jeff Hardy's Arrest For DUI (Updated)

It's been confirmed that WWE star Jeff Hardy is slated for a court hearing on Thursday 11/7 to face charges of Driving While Impaired,

Hardy has also had his driver's license revoked for at least 30 days pending his hearing.

WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested the evening of Thursday 10/3 in Moore County, North Carolina.

Hardy has been out of action due to a leg injury for some time but is slated to appear at the November 3rd ringside Fest event in New York City.

TMZ.com was able to acquire a copy of Jeff Hardy's arrest report from his Driving While Impaired arrest on Thursday 10/3.
The police report notes that authorities received a tip about a careless driver around 8:40 PM.

Authorities located the car in front of a liquor store.  Hardy emerged carrying a case of beer.  Authorities followed the car and pulled him over when they "observed him weaving badly in his lane."

Hardy had "what seemed to be dried blood on his nose" and advisors officers that he and his wife "got into a fight."
The police report states that Hardy admitted to having two shots of vodka and admitted to being impaired.

He failed a field sobriety test and according to TMZ was "was uncooperative when asked for a breathalyzer or blood sample."  A judge signed off on a search warrant, allowing officers to extract a blood sample from Hardy, which was done after Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene.
