MARTY SCURLL APPEARS AT NWA INTO THE FIRE, CONFRONTS NICK ALDIS

Marty Scurll appeared at tonight’s NWA Into the Fire PPV.

He appeared at the end of the show, confronting NWA World champion Nick Aldis after he successfully defended the title against James Storm in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The two had a staredown as the show ended.

The feed came back on a few seconds later as Marty Scurll headed to David Marquez and was about to cut a promo when the feed ended for good. It is likely whatever interview Scurll cut tonight will be on a future episode of NWA Power.

Scurll's contract with Ring of Honor expired on November 30 and is currently a free agent. It’s not currently clear if he intends to re-sign with the promotion, but did appear at their Final Battle event last night, losing in a tag team match with Flip Gordon against Flamita and Bandido.

Scurll has appeared for the NWA before, wrestling Aldis for the NWA World title at the NWA Crockett Cup back in April.

NWA BRINGING TV TITLE BACK AT NEXT PPV

The NWA Television title is set to make its return next month.

It was announced during tonight's Into the Fire event that the NWA is bringing the TV title back at their next pay-per-view. The show is taking place at GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, January 24 and will be available via Fite TV, though further details about the PPV and how the Television Champion will be crowned have yet to be revealed.

This will be the fifth active title that the NWA is using in the Billy Corgan era. The promotion also has the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, the NWA Women's World Championship, the NWA National Championship, and the NWA Tag Team titles.

The January event will be the NWA's second PPV since NWA Power debuted. The show airs on YouTube and Facebook on Tuesdays at 6:05 p.m. Eastern time.

The NWA will follow up on Into the Fire with post-PPV TV tapings at GPB Studios tomorrow and Monday.
