Nice To Know That Mike Johnson (PWInsider) Is Such A Fan Of WP&P (Smiles)
I find it absolutely humorous that for the longest time, Mike Johnson and Dave Scherer (who both run PWInsider) have bashed this site, tried to insult and make inflammatory remarks about who runs THIS SITE, but yet here we have Mike Johnson blatantly coming to this site and taking something we posted yesterday, so he could use it on his site today.
You see the above screen shot of New Texas Pro Wrestling? Mike has never covered this company at all while we here at WP&P have covered them regularly, and since no other wrestling news site (Observer, Torch, Wrestlinginc, Wrestlezone, etc) covered this, it's VERY OBVIOUS where Mike Johnson blatantly took this from.
Here's the screen shot of when we posted this, we did after 7:00 pm yesterday.
and here again is when Mike posted it, this morning.
It's extremely funny that Mike did this and didn't even acknowledge that another site (us) posted it first. He and Scherer for the longest time and on a regular basis have whined, cried, and bitched about other sites taking their stuff (especially from their paid "Elite" Section) and not given them credit, but here's Mike, doing the exact same thing that he and Scherer have complained about for years.
Of course the irony of him doing what he's been crying about has yet to land with him.
But it brings up some interesting questions, none of which will be answered by Mike or Dave Scherer because if you call them out on it, Scherer especially goes into deflect mode.
Questions being, if you hate a site so much, why are you going to it to steal things they posted? If you cry about others stealing your content why are you doing the thing you've complained about? Why is it you're not as informed about things as much as we are? Why are you not 'in the know' about independent wrestling as much as we are? (They are supposed to be, a major league wrestling news site after all) Why is it we here at WP&P are more informed and knowledgeable about the independent wrestling than you? AND.... Why is it you can't scrape up your own material and have to come to us so you can fill up space 'over there'?
Lots of questions but we'll never get the answers from them, they'll just send you some picture or link to a news story about one of us that happened over 16 years ago, because that's all they have to hide behind and they actually think constantly trying that has accomplished them something (I'll give you a hint, it hasn't LOL).
We are kinda flattered that Mike took the time to steal stuff from us, it is the second time this week he's done it. I guess people aren't sending as many things to his inbox as he's hoped so go to a site that covers way more than they do and just swipe something from here to 'use over there' without giving credit, and going against all they've cried about is the new business model over at PWInsider.
So we'll give a big thank you to Mike Johnson, who as a representative of PWInsider, came here and stole content from us that we got up before him (and in this case everyone else). You just helped make New Texas Pro Wrestling get some added fame by your theft, which I'm sure, isn't the way that company wanted to get known more for.
Mike Johnson and his other 'journalist' Paul Jordan have taken stuff from this site and not given proper credit, use the search mode on our site and you'll see how we've busted Paul before, and how numerous times Johnson and Scherer have tried to defame this site, even though now it seems, Mike seems to 'need' our site for content he goes and puts on HIS site.
Irony is, a mother fucker, eh Mikeypoo?
