Considered by many to be the wrestling angle of the year in 1988. Ultra violent in it's day and still pretty hardcore by today's standards. 

This got Continental in trouble with the local TV station.

Lady Mystic comes to the podium in tears. She's apparently been beaten by Dirty White Boy for last week's hair cut. She begs again and again for Tom Prichard to come to the desk. When Tom does finally show up all hell breaks loose. If you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it.

Bert Prentice's USA Championship Wrestling Officially on Tubetown.

I covered this last week, and I believe Meltzer finally caught up to me on this tonight but someone within that promotion sent me this.

USA Championship Wrestling has officially announced a TV deal with Tubetown to get the show in Arkansas, Tennessee and parts of Missouri.  USA Championship Wrestling is run by Bert Prentice and does a studio show out of Oman Arena in Jackson, TN that features Jerry Lawler Bill Dundee, Tony Atlas, Matt Riviera, Kevin Zion and The Starr Twins. The show airs on Tubetown stations at 11:30 a.m. Central on Saturday mornings and 6:30 p.m. Central on Monday nights.

WWE RAW OVERRUN BEING ELIMINATED AS OF NEXT MONDAY

The Raw overrun, a concept that started during the Monday Night Wars when Raw and Nitro were jockeying for any type of an advantage, is now history nearly 18 years after the conclusion of the wrestling war.

Starting this Monday for the show from Kansas City, Raw will end at 11 p.m. sharp and that will continue going forward.

Sources within WWE have confirmed the story as accurate.

This will cut anywhere from four to 15 minutes off the show, meaning a tighter show and an earlier start time for the main event segment.   

This should slightly alleviate the decline level of viewership in the third hour of the show after episodes on October 1 and November 5 did the lowest third hour numbers of the modern era.

Johnny Impact Says Talent "Are Supposed To Say Very Little" Regarding Austin Aries

Over the past few weeks, Austin Aries has dominated headlines for Impact Wrestling. After losing the Impact World Championship to Johnny Impact at Bound for Glory, Aries immediately no-sold the finish and walked out of the ring in disgust. With rumors of whether that was planned or not, the wrestling world was interested. Aries has not been seen since.

The controversy has been used in Impact's storylines, with Johnny proclaiming he is a better champion. He has also been busy with Killer Kross, a man who was a part of Aries' stable along with Moose heading into Bound for Glory.

Both men were asked about Aries by various people, Killer Kross was honest about Aries' loss, and knows as much as anyone else regarding his whereabouts.

"Whatever Austin did in that match clearly wasn't enough," Kross said. "That is not a knock against him either. People win, people lose. I have no idea where he is. We had a mission, and he could not stay the course. That was yesterday, today is today. If he comes back we will see what happens."

The current champion also had an opportunity to talk about Aries. Unlike Kross, he kept it short and sweet, not wanting to keep all the attention on the former champion.

"It is a company call," Impact stated. "I thought in regards to Austin Aries we are supposed to say very little, and keep our Austin Aries answers very short." (Editor's note- That's what he gets for thinking).
