WXW Gary Albright Memorial Show - Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Guerrero - April 19, 2000
Gary Albright was an accomplished amateur wrestler before transitioning to the professional wrestling world. Albright was a mainstay in All Japan Pro Wrestling and formed a successful tag team with Stan Hansen. Gary Albright married Monica, daughter of Afa of the prestigious Anoa'i family. Gary tragically passed away on January 7, 2000 when he suffered a heart attack in the ring and was rushed to the hospital but couldn't be revived. Albright's untimely death shocked the wrestling community, and he is remembered as a talented and respected performer in the world of professional wrestling.
In April 2000, WXW held a memorial event for Gary Albright. The Anoa'i family has had a consistent and longstanding respect-based relationship with WWE (WWF at the time) and they allowed two major WWE Superstars to perform at the memorial event for Gary Albright.
Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero were feuding throughout the majority of the year 2000 and they brought their feud to Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Harry Smith is the son of Davey Boy Smith also known as the British Bulldog and throughout 2006 he went on a US based independent tour. In March, a dream match took place as Harry battled The Phenomenal AJ Styles. AJ was a mainstay in TNA at the time and was easily their top star.
