EFFY on weird wrestling, Jeff Jarrett & whether he'd sign with WWE | The Sessions w/ Renee Paquette
Effy is here making his Sessions debut! Kinda? Sorta? Last year was weird. But if you missed the last one, you don’t wanna miss this one: Marvel at Effy’s mix of business savvy and complete, fly-by-the-seat of his pants spontaneity, nod in knowing approval at his (correct!) opinion on the importance of “weird wrestling” and, of course, enjoy a dollop of gossip about working Jeff Jarrett. Much like the red states he worked in 2016, Effy WILL win you to his side by the end, one way or another.

Nasty Leroy vs. Adam Priest: Philadelphia Street Fight (In Alabama Of All Places, LOL!)
As seen on IWTV, as Nasty Leroy takes on Adam Priest of the Cortége in a no holds barred Philadelphia Street Fight!
Now this probably would've really garnered a lot of my attention and had me intently watching it. But there's one 'little' problem here.
The fucking match, was filmed in ALABAMA, LMAO!
Yep, some brainchild really 'thought this one thru' when he came up with the idea of a "Philadelphia Street Fight", on a southern wrestling company that's, holding a show, where?
Hanceville, Alabama. (shakes head)
I don't have to ask what's wrong or lame about pro wrestling today, because the answer usually comes to me in some form, and this is a great example.
The result of an indie promoter who really shouldn't be 'promoting' anything, obviously.
Of course I'd love to tell him how ridiculous this idea of his was, but like most workers and promoters today, they won't listen because THEY, think 'they know it all".
Here's a blatant example of how they don't.

ATSUSHI ONITA RETURNING TO BATTLEGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING THIS AUGUST
By Gino Bradley
Battleground Championship Wrestling returns to the 2300 Arena on 8/6 and the featured main event will be FMW legend Atsushi Onita teaming with FMW Leather vs. Bully Ray and PCO.
Onita is returning to the United States seeking revenge against Bully, who beat him at the previous Battleground event.
Let's hope that whoever is running BCW does a better job of hyping up their main event than they did on their last show. Their last show which featured Onita vs Dudley they did such a shitty job of hyping their main event that WP&P Staff Writer Bill Walkowitz had a field day showing how as he put it, they "need to go to promoting school".
His story on that fiasco can be seen here. https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2022/03/how-to-hype-up-match-backwards-courtesy.html
Hopefully this time, they can actually do it right?
