WON/F4W Staff Writer Blatantly Steals Story From PWInsider

Bill Walkowitz

I have to admit when Jack Reynolds and Rene Stevens messaged me with this I didn't know what to think. But personal issues with PWInsider aside I went and checked this out and as I like to say, proof is? A mother fucker, and this mother fucker, does have the proof.

Now before all the 'marks' and others jump in and try and say "Other sites reference PWInsider every day", you're right, they do. BUT.. THIS, was a blatant steal because PWInsider didn't put it on their 'free' site. It was actually posted for their "Elite" Subscribers.

Proof? Well here you go, I have it.

Here again is the screen shot I posted above. along with part of Ian Carey's story.

Sure Ian referenced Mike Johnson and PWInsider, BUT.. How can he do it if you go to PWInsider and see THIS, when it comes to Mike Johnson's post about it?

Nowhere in that screen shot do you see the names of who was moved to RAW. Only Elite Members who paid for a subscription could see that.

SSSSOOO, this begs the obvious question, HOW is it Ian Carey can reference PWInsider for his story of PWInsider's post on it is for paid subscribers only?

I'd LOVE to hear or see how Ian tries and spin his way out of this. Nothing like blatantly stealing a story that was only meant for paid subscribers to see.

"Top Notch" Journalism there, Ian. "Five Stars" all the way for outright theft. You really thought you weren't gonna get caught? Stevie Wonder can see you weren't supposed to be having this story. It isn't bad enough Dave Meltzer keeps getting caught making stories up, or claiming he was 'hoaxed' because he put out bogus information he was too lazy to fact check. Now we have another member in Ian Carey stealing stories that were meant only for PWInsider's paid subscribers to see.

Shame Shame Ian Carey, makes me wonder how many OTHER stories you acquired this way, and had gotten away with it, until today. I bet if someone were to actually take the time to back track all your stories for say, the last three months? I bet they'd find more examples just like this.

This is what you get when you sit under the learning tree of Dave Meltzer? if I were Mr. Carey I'd go find another learning tree. Or, the more you keep doing this kind of "Journalism" will be brought to light, and we here at WP&P? Have NNOO problem, bringing it up if you decide you want to try this again.
