Rotten Robbie was a professional wrestling manager on the independent circuit during the 1990s, most notably appearing for the Eastern Wrestling Alliance (EWA).Based on historical match records from the late 90s, he typically performed as a "heel" (villainous) manager. One of his documented appearances occurred on November 21, 1998, at an EWA event at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. During this show, Rotten Robbie managed a tag team known as The Revelations (consisting of wrestlers Apocalypse and Armageddon) in a match against Jules Strongbow and Two Rivers.
The Competition: In NAWA, he managed the heel tag team duo of Champ Mathews and Conner Murphy.
His journey in the industry began in the late 1990s, during the foundational years of the EWA. As a manager, Robbie possessed a natural ability to command attention and elevate the performers around him. His resume was nothing short of legendary, having managed local favorites as well as national icons like “Cowboy” Bob Orton. He also stood by Master Sandy, the trailblazing athlete who etched her name in history as the only woman to hold the EWA Heavyweight Championship.
He'll be missed by many.
