FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SEEKING TO SEIZE HOME OF TED DIBIASE JR.

The Associated Press reported today that the United States Federal Government is seeking to seize the $1.5 million Madison, MS home of former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr., the son of WWE Hall of Famer The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase.

This stems from an audit into the Mississippi Department of Human Services after arrests were made in February 2020 in one of the largest embezzlement scandals ever in the history of that office, a scandal that saw direct connections the DiBiase wrestling family.  Former WWE developmental talent Brett DiBiase  (DiBiase Sr.'s son, DiBiase Jr.'s brother) was among those indicted several months ago as part of the scandal, which saw the former director of Mississippi's state welfare agency and five others charged in one of the biggest embezzlement scandals in the history of the office.

While DiBiase Jr. is not accused of a crime, federal agents stepped in to prevent him from selling his home with today's AP article stating that sale was a week away from being completed.

It was alleged that Brett DiBiase was given funds to go to a drug treatment facility in Malibu that was earmarked for Mississippi's welfare programs. According to documents, DiBiase was allegedly given the money as payment for classes that he didn't teach for drug abuse.

The Associated Press later ran a follow-up story on the DiBiase family connection based on a revelation that WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase's non-profit religious organization, Heart of David Ministries had reportedly received more than $2.1 million in welfare from the state of Mississippi after his son Brett began working for the State.  The organization had received just $5,000 in grants in 2013, but pulled in $271,000 in welfare money, the same year Brett was hired as a senior official at the Mississippi Department of Human Services.  DiBiase’s group received as much as $900,000 one year.

Heart of David Ministries spent all $2,126,739 it received from May 2017 through earlier this budget year.  DiBiase Sr. was paid $84,517 as president of the organization.  Heart of David Ministries pledged in a 2018 contract to “establish a network of partnerships, services and resources throughout Mississippi communities for faith-based and self activities" but there is no word on how the money was actually used.  At the same time it was receiving money from the State of Mississippi, 98% of welfare requests were being turned down by the State.  The Ministry is no longer receiving any aid from the State, according to the AP.   According to the AP article, a woman who answered the door at the home of Ted DiBiase Sr. in Clinton, MS called the Clarion Ledger (the newspaper which initially broke the news) past reporting “fictitious.” but declined to comment.

Where DiBiasel Jr.'s home may play into this is that the AP reported that the Mississippi Community Education Center also paid Brett DiBiase’s brother, former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr., to provide training to human services employees in late 2018 and early 2019.

Audit of DHS Reveals Millions Wasted
May 4, 2020

Auditor’s Office Questions Over $90 Million in Spending of Welfare Grants and Other Funds

JACKSON – Millions of dollars of grants from the Mississippi Department of Human Services (DHS) were misspent, converted to personal use, spent on family members and friends of staffers and grantees, or wasted according to an audit released today by State Auditor Shad White.

“This completed audit of DHS for the previous year shows the most egregious misspending my staff have seen in their careers at the Office of the State Auditor,” said White. “When you read this one-hundred-plus page audit, you will see that, if there was a way to misspend money, it seems DHS leadership or their grantees thought of it and tried it.”

The audit of DHS came as a part of the Office of the State Auditor’s yearly Single Audit of federal money flowing through state agencies.

The audit of DHS showed massive sums were funneled to grantees like the Mississippi Community Education Center (MCEC) and the Family Resource Center of North Mississippi (FRC), two non-profits. Those grantees were given over $98 million in DHS grants over the last three years, mostly from the program Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

The audit’s formal finding is that over $94 million of that grant money has been “questioned,” meaning auditors either saw clear misspending or could not verify the money had been lawfully spent. Examples of questioned spending included:

•           MCEC and FRC used TANF money to hire lobbyists with TANF money, which is unallowable, often with no paperwork describing the work the lobbyists were hired to do.

•           MCEC awarded contracts to and hired former DHS Director John Davis’s family members, sometimes paying them up front in lump sums.

•           MCEC and FRC paid large sums to wrestlers Ted Dibiase, Ted Dibiase, Jr., and Brett Dibiase for work that was not performed, for unreasonable travel costs, or with little proof the programs helped the needy.

•           MCEC and FRC used TANF money to fund religious concerts with no proof they benefitted the needy.

•           MCEC made multiple donations with TANF money—like donations to the American Heart Association, the Mississippi Highway Patrol, booster clubs, pageants, universities—and provided no proof the donations were used to help the needy. FRC also made unallowable donations.

Among the grantees, MCEC was particularly dependent on TANF funding and engaged in extensive misspending. From 2016 to 2019, MCEC was given over $60 million in grants from DHS, while raising just under $1.6 million from other sources. Examples of questioned spending at MCEC included:

•           MCEC paid Victory Sports Foundation TANF money for fitness programs for Mississippi legislators and other elected officials/staffers at no charge.

•           MCEC purchased three vehicles with grant funds, each for over $50,000, for Nancy New (Director of MCEC), Zach New, and Jess New. MCEC also paid salaries, cell phone bills, and other costs for a variety of members of the New family.

•           MCEC made many unallowable sports-related expenditures—like sponsoring a college baseball tournament—for services that could not be proven to benefit the needy. Some sports-related spending was for services that were not actually performed.

•           MCEC transferred over $6 million to a private school and organization owned by Nancy New and also purchased curricula and supplies with TANF funds for the school.

•           MCEC paid a speeding ticket for Nancy New with TANF funds.

•           MCEC issued a $3,000 check to the bookkeeper of MCEC with a handwritten note saying the payment was actually for John Davis.

•           MCEC paid a variety of consultants, including Jess New, for no clear deliverables or where there was no proof the spending met TANF requirements.

•           Zach New took a loan out against his MCEC retirement plan and repaid the loan with TANF money.

•           MCEC paid for extensive unallowable advertising, like using TANF money to advertise at the NCAA basketball tournament and a college football bowl game. TANF money was also used to purchase tickets to a college football game.

•           MCEC paid excessive rent well above market value to a holding company owned by Zach and Nancy New. Sometimes the rent paid for spaces that were not used for TANF-related purposes.

The unallowable spending was achieved through a variety improper activities, like: DHS Director Davis limiting monitoring of subgrantees; forged documents; subgrantees providing summaries of expenditures that did not match actual expenditures; a limited or nonexistent RFP process for selecting subgrantees; fraudulent accounting entries that misstate actual payees; a failure by DHS staff to report obviously improper transactions to law enforcement; and others.

Auditors have recommended current DHS leadership take steps to remedy these problems. “DHS staff should immediately move to seize any property that was purchased by grantees with taxpayer money, as that property belongs to the taxpayers,” said White. “That property does not belong to the Auditor’s office, so we cannot do this for them, but it should be marked as DHS property, and DHS should use their legal authority and move quickly to seize it.”

The audit also suggested DHS conduct an internal investigation into current and former DHS staff who may have played a role in the fraud.

“Thank you to our team of professional auditors for their incredible work,” said White. “The doggedness and attention to detail shown by Stephanie Palmertree, Michael Torres, Jason Ashley, and their team of CPAs led to this critical report. Their work is the first step to restoring public trust in DHS.”

The Single Audit report is now forwarded to the federal government, who will determine the consequences for DHS. Those consequences could include cuts to future grants from the federal government or penalties.

While this Single Audit report concluded the Auditor’s office’s audit of DHS, the criminal investigation of this matter by the Auditor’s office and federal authorities continues. “This audit should be a wake-up call to everyone in government. The old way of doing things, where you do whatever your boss or a person who controls a lot of money tells you to do, or you ignore the law around how to spend money because you think no one is looking—those days are over,” said White.

Wrestling 'efed' Group 'iW" gets slammed.

A wrestling 'efed' is a fantasy wrestling group. Where people create their own wrestling characters, do promos and participate on 'shows' that based on actual (in most cases) pro wrestling shows.

One of these 'efed groups' is called iW, they're a 'brand' that's banner in which other 'efeds' are under. 'iW' also has a reputation for shitting on other people's art work and creativity but yet claiming what they do and how they do it is the best and their way, is the way it should be done over any other way.

This is of course, bullshit, but that is the 'iW' mentality and their response they hide behind is 'don't be bitter get better'. But when someone takes them to task they sure get all in an uproar, and they actually get bitter because one has the nerve, the gumption to actually call out their obvious flaws.

Such is in the case of the 'titles' this iW claims to use as their 'titles' in their efed world. It doesn't take much to find them if you know where on FB to look for them but here's three examples of the 'titles' that this 'great' iW uses.

There's this.

If this isn't as cheesy as it gets, but iW is actually 'proud' to acknowledge THIS, as one of their titles, LMAO! But then there's this one that look like some kid made in his mother's basement.

Yes, this supposed to considered a 'great' title within the world of iW fantasy wrestling, and the guy who made this one? Admits he's proud of it.

Nothing like being proud of the crappy titles you made down in your mother's basement. But at least he's honest and admits he's proud of the third grade art work.

Then there's THIS GENIUS, who tries to get himself over with this pic, only to get quickly owned and put in his place.

For a group that's supposed to be 'so much better' than everyone else in the world of efedding, how is it they can easily be made to look like ass clowns?

Maybe before they continue to shit on other people, they should look in their mirror at themselves. because if there's anyone who's clearly looking like jack asses here? it's this 'iW' group.

The least these guys can do is to at least try and be a little more original or if they're so 'above' everyone else. prove it with something better than titles that look lime a five year old made.

If anyone in this 'iW' sees this? Don't be mad, don't be bitter, just do better, like you tell everyone else to do.

Doesn't feel good when someone gives you a taste of your own medicine, does it.

When You Prove Someone In The "Wrestling Business' Wrong, And They Get Temperamental LMAO! (Updated)

I came across a post by my friend Ron Von Hess, who wrestles for WUW in Washington State and other places. A guy who works for "Immortal Wrestling tried to insinuate that Ron doesn't know Wrestling Legend Kevin Sullivan.

As someone who's known Ron since his early days wrestling in Arizona and has followed his journey to what he's doing now, I can surely attest that not only DOES Ron know him, they've worked together. The evidence and proof of that is so fucking easy to find. Go right to YouTube and it's right there. So since 'Jay' has Ron blocked, I said I'd go ahead and provide to proof to jay. because, as I've said before on this blog. Proof, is a mother fucker and I'm always a guy who has proof.

SSOO, since that is the case. I went ahead and proved the guy wrong.. Now had this guy just acknowledged that he was wrong and left it at that, things would've been fine. BBUUTT NNOO.. The thing that always happens when I go and put someone in their place happened again. And you'll see how this guy changes his story AFTER he says Ron is owed an apology.. You'll see how this guy 'claims' someone else was 'operating' the 'Jay White' account (which everyone knows is bullshit) and in the end, before he goes and blocks the convo like a little bitch (the very predictably yet typical thing that always happens when someone gets 'checked' by me so easily) he posts a link to a story from 2019, like he thinks he got something HUGE and 'earth shattering over me..

As you'll see by the screen shots, the mother fucker was either too ignorant, or lazy to scroll down and see the comments on the story and see how it was worked out. Which goes to show you, what a dumb fuck 'Jay White' really is.

So here's the convo between 'Jay' and I.

Here's the link that was posted right before 'Jay' pulled his bitch move and blocked the convo. https://www.bodyslam.net/2019/08/13/washington-independent-wrestling-promoter-threatens-to-stab-fan/?fbclid=IwAR0EPJY4VUtT9K4nXKR8_jb8f44i6GbJJRhJdYyY-KZitcLTA-Fecl7Hy0o

Now.. if one were to actually go ahead and scroll down and see the comments on this story (from 2019 mind you, he couldn't get anything else) You'd see THIS..

As you can see, at the time, things were getting worked out and actually DID get worked out (Funny how Bodyslam.net neglected to update THAT part of it, HHMMM).  And as you also can see, the story didn't do any harm to Ron's career or image as he's still very successful on the indie scene.

Nice try 'Jay'. You tried to get yourself over but in the end, you made yourself look like a dumb fuck, hope you're proud of yourself.

Never fuck with guy who has proof, because a guy like me? Can and will easily, with no effort needed, put you in your place. And then show why the wrestling business has a lot of fucking idiots infested in it.

And in case you may think I'm lying? here's acouple screen shots I just received from Ron Von Hess himself, of the very convo with 'Jay' that started it all. Nothing like more truth to be added to show how much 'Jay' is a liar, and a fucking moron.

Evidence like does? Always does wonders when it comes to having to bury someone. :)

MLW Posts On Situation With Davey Boy Smith Jr.

MLW’s website posted a statement from head of wrestling operations Jared St. Laurent regarding Davey Boy Smith Jr.:

“I want to address some misinformation put out there. I had talks with Impact about Davey Boy possibly crossing over and doing some dates. We had a very positive conversation with Impact. Scott D’Amore and Impact were great to deal with and we were absolutely open to it. We gave Davey several options for how we could make this work as well as help him out financially during the pandemic. Davey opted to do nothing, unfortunately. It could’ve been a win/win for all 3 parties. It’s a shame but that is the full story. On a personal level, I’ve known Davey for almost 2 decades. It’s sad to see him elect to end his tenure with yet another company on such a sour note.”

AEW Releases Jimmy Havoc And Bea Priestley

AEW has released Jimmy Havoc and Bea Priestley.

There had been speculation on AEW releasing Sadie Gibbs, Havoc and Priestley after their profiles were removed from the official AEW roster. Gibbs confirmed her departure on Twitter, as we noted before at this link. Now F4Wonline.com has confirmed the other two departures.

Priestley signed with AEW in February 2019 after turning down a WWE offer. She debuted at Fight for the Fallen on July 13 of last year, teaming with Shoko Nakajima to defeat Riho and Britt Baker. Priestley last wrestled on the March 11 Dynamite episode, teaming with Nyla Rose to defeat Kris Statlander and current Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida. It looked as if she was about to enter into a feud with Rose.

AEW issued a statement on Havoc back in June after a woman named Rebecca Crow, who bills herself on Twitter as an international stage performer and adult content creator, used the "#SpeakingOut" movement to accuse him of physical and mental abuse why they dated for several years. AEW noted then that they wished Havoc the best as he received treatment and counseling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life. Havoc signed with AEW in February 2019 and debuted in the 2019 Double Or Nothing Pre-show Battle Royal on May 25. He last wrestled on the June 17 Dynamite episode, teaming with Kip Sabian for a loss to The Young Bucks.

It's been said that Havoc likely would not be brought back due to allegations against him coming out of the "#SpeakingOut" movement, which is why he was suspended before undergoing treatment for some of his issues.

AEW President & CEO Tony Khan noted a few months back that he did not want to release anyone during the coronavirus pandemic, but that there would come a time where they would have to make cuts if people couldn't travel into the United States. It was also said that when you keep adding talent, at some point there has to be cuts.Gibbs and Priestley were released mainly due to their inability to get into the United States for TV tapings, and how it looks like that won't be changing any time soon. Gibbs was reportedly brought in as a project, in the sense that she wasn't ready but she was a great athlete with a good look.

Havoc, Priestley and Gibbs are all from the UK.

Like A Bad Story That Never Ends, Jeff Jarrett vs Anthem Lawsuit Continues With..

United States District Court of The Middle District of Tennessee Chief Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr. ordered that Jeff Jarrett and Global Wrestling Entertainment sit down with Anthem Wrestling (the parent company of Impact Wrestling) for a settlement conference next month instead of the originally scheduled hearing to set a new trial date in the lawsuit Jarrett brought forth against Impact.

Jarrett's side requested a settlement conference for the two sides to come to the table and attempt to work out a deal to end the legal wranglings between the two sides, offering to be available anytime between 9/1-9/10.  Anthem responded that Ed Nordholm was not available on those dates but that they would be amenable to having a settlement conference after the scheduled hearing on 9/11 in Nashville to set a new trial date.

Instead, yesterday, Judge Waverly canceled the hearing and instructed the two sides to attempt to settle the matter.  The two sides have attempted to settle their issues previously but were unable to do so, leading to the original trial that ended up in a mistrial after a mixed verdict.  In a ruling issued by Waverly on 7/30,  the mistrial was declared due to, "...the Court’s failure to instruct on comparative negligence; the identity of the wrong entity in the verdict form on the counterfeiting claim; improper comments by Defendant’s counsel in opening statements; and improper statements by Plaintiffs’ counsel in closing arguments, all of which were discussed in detail in the Court’s oral ruling."

Neither Anthem nor Jarrett's attorneys have issued statements regarding the matter since the mistrial.

RING OF HONOR RETURNING TO TELEVISION PRODUCTION

Ring of Honor issued the following press release, that the company would return to in-ring action and TV production the weekend of 8/22 in Baltimore, Maryland:

RING OF HONOR TO RETURN TO TELEVISION PRODUCTION THIS MONTH IN MARYLAND

With the safety and health of talents, staff and production crew at the forefront, Ring of Honor Wrestling will return to producing new episodes of the “Ring of Honor Wrestling” television program this August 2020 in the home state of Maryland.

ROH will adhere to a very stringent protocol as well as the regulations set in place by the Maryland State Athletic Commission. ROH will be instituting the necessary testing and safety measures in a continued effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There will be no fans or staff who are not essential to the production present during these events.

“Taking care of our people during this difficult time has been and still is our No. 1 priority,” ROH Chief Operating Officer Joe Koff said. “That’s why we have spent many weeks working alongside the Maryland State commission in gearing towards our return to producing wrestling action. The strictest of protocols, testing and measures will be in place to assure us of this directive.”

Ring of Honor’s last events were the cancelled 18th Anniversary and Past vs Present shows in Las Vegas last March 13th and 14th. Since then, the company has opted to cease taping operations until there was a safe way to resume. These new tapings will pick up right where ROH left off with a focus on the ROH Pure Title Tournament, which had been originally scheduled for April.

UNITED WRESTLING NETWORK & NWA TO LAUNCH LIVE WEEKLY PPV SERIES THIS SEPTEMBER

Dave Marquez's United Wrestling Network and The National Wrestling Alliance will be launching a new, weekly 90-minute live PPV series titled United Wrestling Network's Primetime Live, airing on Tuesday nights from California's Thunder Studio on all PPV providers and FITE.TV.

The PPV series is slated to air Tuesday nights at 9 PM EST/6 Pacific, debuting 9/15.  We are told the expected weekly price for the PPV will be around $13-$15 per week.  We are told FITE.TV will offer a monthly subscription that covers all of the live events and VOD replays.  It will be the first attempt at a weekly PPV series since the early days of Impact Wrestling launched with weekly $9.99 PPVs, later morphing into a more traditional PPV model.

The primary booking team for the endeavor will be NWA Champion Nick Aldis, Marquez and Aron Stevens (aka the former Damian Sandow in WWE) and will effectively bring back fresh NWA content after the promotion paused production on NWA Powerrr.  Obviously, NWA President Billy Corgan will have a say in the NWA-centric content and matches.  One would think NWA Championship matches will be a major part of the presentation for the PPV series.

The Primetime Live PPV series will be presented in an empty arena setting with Thunder Studios setting the COVID-19 safety protocols, according to the press release issued today.

The Primetime Live PPV series will be the biggest undertaking in the history of Marquez's career in professional wrestling, which has included promoting events all over the world, including China and overseeing the United Wrestling Network's umbrella of "Championship Wrestling From..." promotions, most notably the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood series, which will resume production of new episodes later this month as well.

The official PPV series press release reads:

PRIMETIME LIVE IS COMING

Hollywood, CA (August 10, 2020) - United Wrestling Network (UWN), National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and Thunder Studios today announced that they will partner to launch an all-new, live weekly professional wrestling pay-per-view series on national cable / satellite television and streaming on FITE. “United Wrestling Network’s Primetime LIVE” is set to be 90-minutes of hard-hitting, can't miss action, premiering Tuesday Sept. 15 at 9P EST and will originate LIVE from Thunder’s Long Beach Studios. This unprecedented new series will be a grand showcase of acclaimed talent and competitors from all regions and different promotions across the globe in their quest to settle real-life feuds and attain championship glory – with an emphasis on the NWA and UWN Championships. Each week on UWN: Primetime LIVE anything can happen, in the ring and behind-the-scenes.

“I’m pleased that we are finally able to announce some good news, and in partnering with United Wrestling Network we’ll be able to get back to work with what promises to be top-tier matchups, and soon. It goes without saying that 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, and our goal in re-establishing in-ring NWA action was to make sure that our talent would be protected working within the now established safety protocols, as well as delivering consistent, high quality content like our vaunted shows NWA POWERRR, and ‘Ten Pounds of Gold’. But this will be more than just a weekly, live PPV broadcast, as we plan on shooting additional content for the NWA YouTube channel and our Patreon subscribers. My goal here is simple: to provide the best contests possible with the greatest talent available, carrying on the great legacy of the National Wrestling Alliance as an independent governing body. And in that we hope to feature at least one championship match on every live broadcast.” states NWA Owner, William Patrick Corgan.

“To me, ‘UWN: Primetime LIVE’ is a pro wrestling fan's dream come true. I’ve always wanted to produce a joint program that would feature the baddest and best pro wrestlers from different promotions on the same broadcast. This fan first way of thinking should allow us to present match-ups that you might not normally ever see on weekly television. There may be a time when you see someone from Championship Wrestling from Hollywood go against someone from Chicago’s Freelance Wrestling, or even fighters out of the NJPW LA Dojo versus West Coast Pro Wrestling. A major goal we have is to take newer up-and-coming athletes and present them in a way that hasn’t been done on a nationally televised show before. With this incredible new platform and opportunity to let the greatest talent shine on a worldwide stage, we are poised to create new superstars! Factor in the NWA Champions and the stars of NWA POWERRR and beyond, all converging for some of the most exciting programming possible. In my 30 years in both television production and promoting wrestling, this project will be the biggest of my career.” said UWN: Primetime LIVE Executive Producer David Marquez.

The health and safety of our athletes, cast, staff and crew are extremely important to us and we’ll be following Thunder Studio’s COVID-19 protocol. Every member of this production will undergo testing, temperature checks and all other local and national medical requirements. UWN: Primetime LIVE will utilize Thunder’s Zoning System identifying parts of the studio where we are authorized to enter. We will also have an onsite physician to supervise all testing. To learn more about Thunder Studio’s COVID-19 protocols please visit http://www.thunderstudios.com/news/thunder-studios-covid-19-safe-ready-open- .

This broadcast will be available in Spanish. In the coming weeks we will have more information available including the matchmaking and the levels and methods to purchasing this new series. For more information on the National Wrestling Alliance please visit NationalWrestlingAlliance.com and follow them @NWA. United Wrestling Network information can be found at UnitedWrestlingTV.com and @unitedWrestling or @CWFHollywood.

JAMES 'KAMALA' HARRIS PASSES AWAY AT AGE 70

James Harris, who is best known for his run in WWE and Memphis as Kamala, has passed away at the age of 70.

Jerry Lawler was among the first to report Kamala’s death. WWE has also confirmed the news. Harris had suffered a number of health issues in recent years, including having both legs amputated due to high blood pressure and diabetes.

Harris started wrestling in 1978 under the name “Sugar Bear” Harris. It wasn’t until his run in the Memphis territory in 1982 where he debuted the Kamala, the Ugandan Headhunter gimmick.

Kamala made appearances in WWE in 1984, then in 1986-87. It was here that Kim Chee was designated as his manager, and faced Hulk Hogan on multiple occasions for the WWE title.

After another stint in Memphis, he returned to the WWE in 1992 with Harvey Whippleman serving as his manager. After a feud with The Undertaker, he turned face, abandoning Whippleman and Kim Chee for Reverend Slick, who managed Kamala until he left the WWE towards the end of 1993.

Kamala would appear sporadically throughout the 90s and 2000s in WCW, Memphis, and later the WWE, with one of his final high-profile matches being a match against Umaga on a 2006 episode of Raw

MLW Underground #5: Satoshi Kojima vs. Vampiro | Mike Awesome vs. Jerry Lynn

Matches:
•World Heavyweight Title Fight: Satoshi Kojima (Champion) vs. Vampiro
•#1 Contenders Match for the World Heavyweight Title: Mike Awesome vs. Jerry Lynn
•Super Crazy vs. Fuego Guerrera vs. Christopher Daniels

This week the biggest prize in MLW is on the line, as Satoshi Kojima has his eyes and his lariat pointed towards one of Mexico’s all-time greatest, Vampiro.

The top challenger for the World Heavyweight Title has been the target of numerous messages from the mysterious Raven, but will have to shift his focus from the enigmatic Raven to the man that has taken MLW by storm, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Satoshi Kojima.

Will Vampiro be able to dethrone Kojima and end Kojimania? Or will the man with a lariat that hits harder than a cinder block be able to remain World Heavyweight Champion?
Whoever walks out of this match better have eyes in the back of their head because two of the best wrestlers in the world are facing off to be the one that challenges next for that World Heavyweight Crown.

It will be the man who fell to Kojima in the world championship finals, Jerry Lynn, battling a man known as a gladiator, the master of the Awesome Bomb, and one of the most destructive forces in pro wrestling, Mike Awesome.

Three of the most dynamic athletes in MLW face off in our opening contest, as Fuego Guerrera and Super Crazy meet for the second week in a row on MLW Underground, but this time, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels has inserted himself into what will be a memorable triple threat bout.

PLUS: an update on the MLW Global Tag-Team Crown Championship tournament, and more on Raven’s mysterious issues with Vampiro, and Steve Corino’s venom continues to spew at the Hardcore Icon, Terry Funk.
