Yes, again ol Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer web page has proven that he's incapable of posting a link to something on his own. Let me show you his latest debacle.
He posts a story about how the New York Post said that the match between Damien Priest And The Miz was "one of the saddest moments in WWE History. I mean here's the screen shot of him hyping it, right from his own web page.
But WHAT HAPPENS when you go and click on the link HE posted?
Well.. THIS, aaahahahahahahahahahaha.
Mid-Atlantic mainstay Don Kernodle passed away at 71 years old Monday.
Reports are that his death was self-inflicted, but there are no other details available at this time.
"Kernodle was best known in the Carolinas as Sgt. Slaughter's tag team partner as one of the best and most underrated historical teams from the early 80s. Many consider the Slaughter & Kernodle cage match with Ricky Steamboat & Jay Youngblood in 1983 as the most important wrestling match ever in the Carolinas since its success in turning so many fans away led to the first Starrcade later that year where they the show was available via closed circuit around the territory."
The Burlington, North Carolina, native was trained by Ole and Gene Anderson and started his career in 1973.
Along with Mid-Atlantic, Kernodle appeared on several WWF cards co-promoted with the NWA in 1982-83. He eventually made his way back to the NWA and the Carolina indie circuit before retiring in 1986 and moving into law enforcement. He came out of retirement for a 1997 cage match before he and brother Rocky formed a tag team that worked for CWF Mid-Atlantic sparingly from 2002-06.
He won the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team titles twice with Jim Nelson (Boris Zhukov); the NWA World Tag Team titles three times (Sgt. Slaughter, Bob Orton Jr., Ivan Koloff) and the NWA World Six-Man titles with Ivan and Nikita Koloff. He also was a WWC Puerto Rican champion, WWC TV Champion, and an NWA Canadian TV Champion.
He was set to be inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame this July.

Here's another thing on Eric Simms, something I bet he'll regret seeing come back and slapping him in the face.
The time he tried to threaten a dirt sheet writer over the phone, and got punked as a result.
I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this pay per view. The clips on YouTube are enough to show me that ordering a pizza was a better idea than buying the "Under Siege" pay per view.
As always, nothing like showing anyone watching just how empty, the arena they're in really is. Let's just make it SSOO OBVIOUS that the fan noise is piped in.
Gotta love those wide angle shots that show us that nobody is there to see it live. By all means, please keep that up (Sarcastic 'thumbs up').
What the fuck did Don Callis say? "The ONLY MAN, to hold not one, not two but three separate world championships at the same time"?
Um sorry Donnyboy but you course, are WRONG AGAIN.
Guess the name Ultimo Dragon would be a name he'd want to quickly side step and avoid hearing. Oh yeah, Vader would be another name Callis will probably turn his head to avoid hearing as well.
Thank you Don Callis for once again showing, again why you have 'go away' or 'change the channel' heat when it comes to your er, 'character.. But that if we were to look up "Dumb Ass" in the dictionary, your picture would come up.
And we're not even into the ring yet and this stupidity is so blatantly obvious. They really DON'T think things thru over at Impact, do they. Just throw oatmeal against the wall and hope it sticks.
Yep, just watching THIS CLIP,. validated why ordering a pizza was a better idea than investing money on an "Impact" pay per view.
Here's the link if you want to see exactly, what I'm talking about. And just as an added note. Watching a match from 1983 between Stan Hansen and Terry Funk? Was WAY BETTER, than watching this garbage right here.

It is extremely sad to report that Jerome “New Jack” Young passed away earlier this afternoon following a heart attack in North Carolina, where he had lived in recent years. Young was 58 at the time of his passing. His passing was confirmed on his Facebook page, and with other wrestling news outlets.
At times, Young was one of the most controversial wrestlers in professional wrestling, but he was also one of the more intense and charismatic performers over the last several decades. The New Jack name was inspired by the film New Jack City once Young imagined fans chanting it while he was in the ring, a vision that certainly came true countless times over.
After breaking into the business in Georgia while mentored by the late Ray Candy, New Jack formed The Gangstas with Mustafa for a run in Smoky Mountain Wrestling that put the duo, empowered by Jack’s incredible, edgy interviews, on the map, leading to the team headlining against everyone from The Rock N' Roll Express to The Undertaker.
After SMW, the duo moved to Extreme Championship Wrestling during the summer of 1995. Jack and ECW were a perfect match as the product pushed everything as far as the envelope would allow at the time, providing Jack with a perfect backdrop to paint violent, bloody pictures as he and partners brawled all over buildings while Ice Cube and Dr. Dre’s Natural Born Killaz blasted over, creating a real life movie fight scene like never before or since in pro wrestling.
While Jack held the ECW World Tag Team Championships several times, he might be far better remembered for diving out of balconies to put hapless opponents through tables, something that he devised as a way to make sure that the audience’s attention and their memories were about him no matter whether he was booked to win or lose. Over time, his fearlessness at doing the dives took its physical toll (especially after a planned fall at Living Dangerously 2000 went completely wrong) but any highlight reel of ECW would be incomplete without those insane moments.
Young’s life and career were chronicled during the second season of Dark Side of the Ring and he also made a memorable appearance in the Barry Blaustein documentary Beyond the Mat back in 1999, where Blaustein famously remarked that none of his other friends had justifiable homicides on their record. Outside a short retirement, New Jack worked on the indies from the end of ECW through 2021, notably working for TNA, XPW and Combat Zone Wrestling among others. During that time, he was involved in other controversial incidents in matches with Vic Grimes and Gypsy Joe, documented on the Dark Side episode.
There will be a lot written about Jerome Young in the days to come, good and bad, but the reality was this - he loved to perform and he loved to be New Jack in the public eye. He put himself through a lot of physical and mental pain in order to live his life as New Jack and once famously told people that he made the decision to do so, that he knew what he was getting into and that he would have no regrets, because it was the decision he chose to make.
Former WWE Superstar Mike Bennett took to Twitter this morning and reacted to WWE receiving ownership of the “Mike Kanellis” name.
WWE originally filed to trademark the “Mike Kanellis” name back in 2018 when Mike and wife Maria Kanellis-Bennett were working for the company. Mike responded to a tweet on the trademark today and apparently is not missing his WWE ring name at all.
“Keep it and burn it,” Mike wrote in response to the Mike Kanellis trademark filing.
Mike and Maria left WWE last year amid COVID-19 budget cuts. They are currently working for ROH after recently signing contracts with the company.

I can see why the head writer for Wrestling Past And Present, Bill W. has such a fun time slapping marks around online. There's no challenge from them and as Bill has pointed out several times in the past. They always react and reply the same way, every time.
Between yesterday with this story.. https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2021/05/aew-fanboys-dont-like-seeing-truth-try.html And now today with what I'm about to show you. Marks and Fanboys really don't realize when it's time for them to just quit, and shut up.
You'll see how he first tries to claim that this story.. https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2021/05/wonder-what-others-in-aew-think-about.html Is a "Nonstory" but when I show him proof that someone besides me is talking about it, he quickly tries to backtrack and back step on it.
Then after he claims I couldn't put him in check (when the fact I showed him this IS, a story unlike what claimed, it indeed, put him in check) I explain the obvious that every time a mark or fanboys rushes out to claim they weren't put in their place, it's the obvious sign that they know, they were put in their place. It's really sad that clowns like this have to have things dumbed down this much. But IO guess a little lower education for the clueless like this guy Dave, is what's needed.
Everything after this is the usual mark trying to get himself over on a staff member of WP&P after he was put in his place by one of us, and he failed. Which comes as no surprise as again, marks always react and reply the same way every time. So predictable every time.
At some point fanboys and marks will learn that it's best for them to just, not say anything. because when they do, they'll be shown to the masses what dumb clowns they really are. This was just the latest example. I'm sure, they'll be more to come. You can thank the staff of WP&P for putting dumb fanboys and marks in check. it's our pleasure to do so.
Jimmy Jack Funk vs "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez, Rock N Roll RPMs, Scott Hall, Terry Taylor and more on this.
Nothing like slamming and insulting the very company that pays you., Gotta love it. Least he has the balls to speak up about it, even if nobody else in AEW will ever listen.. because they of course "know it all", ask them, they'll tell you.
MJF is often viewed as a wrestling prodigy, and he continues to thrive in All Elite Wrestling.
Still, despite his young age, MJF is a throwback in every sense of the word. In an interview with Anthony Sulla-Heffinger of Yahoo! Sports, MJF explained that he admires classic wrestling and abhors the style that his peers in AEW are known for.
“When I first got into the industry, I was already a student of the game,” said MJF. “I enjoyed watching the [Nick] Bockwinkels, the [Ric] Flairs, the Tullys [Blanchard] — who I now get to work with every week — do their thing. The smartest thing about them, contrary to what you see now stylistically in professional wrestling, was that they didn’t want to get hit, they didn’t want to mess their bodies up.
“When I watch professional wrestling on AEW Dynamite, I cringe, I want to puke in my mouth a little bit, because I see these guys and they are murdering themselves. They are jumping from the top rope to the floor, they are doing the loopy loops, the twisty turns, the flippity do-das, and they are killing themselves. Some of these people who are younger than me, and I’m already wildly young, might not be able to walk anymore when they get to my age.”
It’s fair to say that MJF isn’t a high-flyer, so that concern doesn’t apply to him the same way it might to other wrestlers who use breathtaking offensive maneuvers.
Likewise, in the same interview, MJF explained that he doesn’t wrestle every single week to protect the significance of his matches.
“Why am I going to try and wrestle every week when I can save my body and then when I do wrestle, it’s more of a main attraction because people want to see it so bad,” said MJF. “There was a guy in the UFC, his name is Cowboy Cerrone, and the guy would be on almost every single card, his fight camps would be month to two months. Sure, he would win, but his winner’s purse would be so small because he made himself so accessible.
“Me, I’m a top guy, I’m a superstar, I’m not going to wrestle every week because I want the care for my matches from a fan’s standpoint to be that much larger.”

What is it with the AEW fanboys? They see the truth, read it, but when they can't stand it they brace the guy who posted it.
And what happens when they brace the guy who posted it? They get put in their place, almost instantaneously.
This is what happens when they instead of staying quiet and moving along, they open their their mouths.
And sooner or later one of these clowns always try to claim that "Only 25" people, look at this site. When I post a screen shot that shows how dumb they are for assuming that. The silence afterwards always comes.
THAT, is how you put someone in their place. And the staff here at Wrestling Past And Present have a long habit of putting fanboys and marks, in their place.
(UPDATE- 9:30 PM)
Just now someone else put one of these fanboys in their place. Poor "Jerry" couldn't handle the fact that I, owned him earlier today. So what happens when he tries against someone else? He fails just as miserably, LOL!

WWE NXT referee Drake Wuertz (aka former Death Match performer Drake Younger) missed last night's NXT taping in order to attend a school board meeting for the Seminole County Public Schools, arguing to the Superintendent that, despite the current COVID-19 pandemic, he should refuse the masking of children in the schools, claiming that the dangers of wearing the masks "outweighs" the dangers of COVID-19 and that by not doing so, he was going against the wishes of God.
And Vince McMahon actually PAYS, this guy, to be an ass clown. Imagine that.
Wuertz also argued against the wearing of masks to protect the health of the teachers in the classroom stating that in Seminole County, "God's country, we put the needs of our children first", citing a biblical verse that states it would be better for an adult to die by drowning than potentially "lead a little one to stumble." He also argued that wearing masks in school assist predators who "wish to prey upon our children" and that by requiring children be masked, they have disrespected the wishes of the parents. Wuertz also claimed that teachers would not be able to identify their own students if the students were forced to be masked.
Wuertz missing the taping last night followed a similar instance last week where Wuertz, wearing his WWE NXT gear while backstage at the Capitol Wrestling Center, took part in a Zoom call for the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners, arguing against the local mask mandate being used to protect against COVID-19, citing an online conspiracy theory that "child sex traffickers love COVID masks."
Given that WWE has instituted a mask policy for those working for the company, Wuertz publicly arguing against masks while technically in the middle of his work day while wearing company clothing seemed to have turned the tide against him with some who had previously felt he had every right to his opinion, now feeling he lost that right when he was expressing it on company time.
And it shows what a hypocrite Drake is.
Wuertz recently took to his Facebook page to defend his stance, writing, "My wife said some folks are apparently writing about our “Radical Views “. *Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery and we seek to eradicate it *Abortion is Murder and needs to be Abolished *Children in my community that are being forced by local government to wear masks for 8 hours a day against their parents wishes is abuse. We have a God-ordained duty to speak up for the ‘least of these’ and petition our magistrates to prevent harm upon children. If this is “Radical” then label me an extremist for Christ. Were not called to fit in with the world. Were called to serve God!…”We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29"
A number of WWE talents and staff have expressed concern for Wuertz's actions in recent weeks and a number have pointed to last night's speech as reason for the company to step in, with one source citing a "pattern of behavior that is becoming increasingly concerning."
Whether WWE opts to address remains to be seen.
Better watch out, WWE "Creative" Might think this could mask for a 'good gimmick' for one of their shows, LMAO!

Yes, THIS is what wrestling has come to. A billionaire money mark in Tony Khan, allowing someone who has no formatting experience whatsoever, to help format a so called "Major" promotion's TV show.
It sure does explain why, the show looks and feels so shitty, that's for sure.
But at least now we know (besides horrible booking, no logic, tremendous amounts of 'so selling', etc) why. Some oen openlky admits he's "Never done it before" is allowed to format the show, aahahahahahahaha..
You'd think with guys like Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, or even an agent like Dean Malenko, You'd have one of THEM, help format the show.
NNNAAA, why do that? That would make "so much more sense". but instead, let's let QT Marshall, who admits he has no experience at it, do it instead.
YYEEAAHH, "That's the ticket", NOT!
Does anyone else besides me see just how STUPID, this idea is?
The answer among the AEW "Marks" and fanboys will of course be, a resounding "No", They don't see it or don't want, to see it.
And here's exactly HOW, ol QT formats the show every week. This is so fucking laughable. And anyone in AEW who really thinks THIS, is a 'brilliant' idea or way to do it, is truly, very stupid.
This comes right from Fightful.com, who posted QT's quote on how HE, and money mark Khan, ahem.. "Format" the show.
