Impact Wrestling Notes.

Former WWE, Ring of Honor and Lucha Underground star Paul London worked as a Producer at the Impact Wrestling tapings over the weekend.  We are told London did a great job in the role and the company hopes to use him again when possible.

Kevin Sullivan was at the Vegas tapings and did film material for the company, so he'll be popping up in some fashion on upcoming episodes. (Wonder how they'll use Sullivan and if it'll be more of the 'silliness' that Callis swore he was gonna get rid of, but has yet to do).

Former WWE NXT star Sawyer Fulton debuted on last night's Impact Wrestling taping in Las Vegas as well.  He will be working as a heel for the company.

And oh yeah, former Impact star Abyss started as a producer for WWE last night.

WOW's David McLane On Why Securing A TV Deal Never Worried Him

Recently on The Jim Ross Report, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross caught up with WOW creator of GLOW and WOW, David McLane, ahead of WOW's debut on AXS TV. Among many other things, McLane talked about the importance of WOW co-owner Jeanie Buss. McLane talked about why he sold GLOW. Additionally, McLane talked about WOW's relationship with AXS TV and how getting TV time was not going to be a problem for Buss & Co.
According to McLane, Buss is the reason women's wrestling will be elevated to new heights.
"I've got to thank Jeanie Buss," McLane professed. "Jeanie Buss has a day job, which is called CEO and owner of the Los Angeles Lakers and she is the reason women's wrestling is going to be elevated to a new paradigm for all of us. And she really said, 'let's do this correctly, let's take all the steps.'"

Interestingly, McLane divulged that he sold GLOW because the show got too comedic for him. McLane indicated that he wants WOW to be presented like a competitive sport and many of WOW's comedic skits did not work.
"I'm old school from that standpoint and I sold GLOW. To my liking, it became too much of a comedy show and I did not want that in WOW. That wasn't my goal. I really wanted to present it like an athletic contest. Now, with that said, we've got a few [comedic segments] and they didn't work. A few, what I would call, they're not skits, but I don't know what you would call them, but backstage interviews where they didn't work and it's better storytelling." McLane added, "some of the, I don't want to call them skits, but some of the things didn't work and that's why we're going to take them out and I reduce them as we get further along in the season."
According to McLane, securing TV time was never a big deal for WOW given Buss's connections and financial wherewithal. What was more important was finding a broadcast partner that shared WOW's vision of long term success.
"We could put women's wrestling on TV in five seconds," McLane explained. "Jeanie Buss can call up anybody. Heck, she could buy time on a network if she wanted. She wanted to get the right marketing partner, someone that shared our vision for making this thing a long term success and AXS TV is that partner because they have really been engaged on the ground floor to help us build the brand long term. So I think it's a special time, one, for women in all genres and especially now in wrestling. And we've got the right partners to do it, and make it successful, and now we just need the fans to tune in, and watch it, and comment on it and help us help it grow."

Sgt. Slaughter Reveals The One WWE Angle He Refused Ahead Of WrestleMania 7 Match With Hulk Hogan

WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter had an in-depth interview with CBS Sports' WFAN. During the discussion, Sgt. addressed his once-controversial rivalry with Hulk Hogan that came to a head in the main event of WrestleMania 7.
Slaughter made a return to the WWE in 1990 after WrestleMania 6 was over, entering as a heel and turning his back on the United States after they began welcoming Russian Star, Nikolai Volkoff. Sgt.'s character of an "Iraqi sympathizer" remained in a heated feud with Hulk Hogan that culminated at WrestleMania 7 the next year. Behind the scenes, Sgt. revealed that the negative response to his character during that time had reached unparalleled levels of intensity. Individuals were even calling WWE offices issuing both bomb & death threats.
"Vince McMahon had called me up after about six years of hiatus from WWE, and he said he just got out of WrestleMania 6 and wanted to do WrestleMania 7," Sgt. said. "So, he's already looking at his main event, and he said, 'Are you ready to go back to work?' I said, 'Yeah, ready.' And he says, 'Well, come on to my house and I'll show you what I've got in mind.' So, I figured he's gonna take Sgt. Slaughter, G.I. Joe, the real American hero, and make him the real, real, real American hero. So I get to his house, he's got this layout of L.A. Colosseum, 104,000 seats, and he says, 'We want you and [Hulk] Hogan to be the main event.' I said, 'Okay, how are we going to make Hulk Hogan the villain?' He said, 'Hulk Hogan? No, he's not going to be the villain. You're going to be the villain!' I said, 'Well, how we gonna do that?'
"So he starts laying out the Iraqi sympathizer, and you think America's got weak, and a little country like Iraq taking over Kuwait and running the world, and you're back and you're not happy," Sgt. continued. "I said, 'Okay.' He said, 'Well, go home and talk to your family about it because it could be a little rough.' It was [financially] beneficial, yeah. But we had bomb threats, death threats every night. I came home from back to Philadelphia after winning the title from the Ultimate Warrior in Miami at the Royal Rumble, and one of the backstage hands said, 'Hey, have you talked to your wife?' And I said, 'No.' 'Have you talked to Vince McMahon?' 'No.' We didn't have cell phones, so, I get on the phone, my wife's answering machine. I call Vince, 'Oh yeah, Sgt., I just talked to your wife and I sent her to a hotel.' I said, 'What happened?' Well, somebody called up the wrestling office this morning and said they're gonna kill you, and kill me, and kill our families; Blow up our houses and cars."
Sgt. admitted that he did take the threats pretty seriously, but regardless, he was pleased that he was receiving such immense heat from his work. The one segment Sgt. refused to partake in involved him burning the American flag on television.
"I took it pretty serious, and then again, I thought, well, I guess I did my job right. I never really regretted it. The only time that I ever really had a problem with it was when they wanted me to burn an American flag and I wouldn't do that. So, I gave them a better idea: I thought, put the Hulk Hogan shirt on a flag pole and I'll burn that and say, 'It's Americana!' So, that's what we did and I think that it got the right type of 'heat,' as we say in our business."

PWInsider Fucked Up On A Story (And They Don't Even Realize It, Someone Please Show Them)

You just can't... Make this shit up, you really can't. But this indeed has happened. PWInsider's own Paul Jordon posted a story about how Game Changer Wrestling announced that they're going to promote two shows in Japan come August.

BUT... WHERE... Is the picture that Game Changer posted at? Since I of course am the very guy who says proof IS, a mother fucker and that I AM.. A guy who always has proof. Here's proof that PWInsider's Paul Jordan fucked up. Here's his announcement of the story.

Go and click the link before the the page finishes loading and THIS.. Is what you get.

NOW, AFTER the page finishes loading, Look at what it says.

As of 30 seconds ago, the article is STILL posted on the PWInsider Web page. Maybe someone should go inform them on how their columnist Paul Jordan looks like a total dumb fuck, posting a story that has no pic to back it up.

It's not my fault that PWInsider seem to go out of their way to make themselves look like dumb asses, but hey.. Stuff like this here sure makes it look obvious that they do have some real dumb asses writing for them.. Feel free to send them a link to this story as well if you want. At least when i post a story, I'll add the correct link and picture to it. So you can again thank me for again.. Making the 'more well known, 'established' news sites, look stupid. It's not my fault they seem to bring it on themselves. :)

Kelly Klein Punks Disco Inferno On His Comments About Womens Wrestling.

With added help from Lance Storm.

during an Impact Wrestling media call, Disco Inferno defended his stance about women's wrestling and stated that he's not sexist. One of his comments about women wrestling involved him comparing it to the WNBA and saying that, "They're not as good as the guys."
Inferno was also quoted saying, "I am a fan of the women's wrestlers that can combine good looks with good work. If there's a girl out there whose work isn't as good but she's hotter and has sex appeal, I'm a fan of that." He also mentioned that there was too much TV time dedicated to women's wrestling.
Former Women of Honor Champion Kelly Klein shared a link to a story about Disco Inferno comments with the caption: "Dude you are so gross but congrats on finding a way to get some attention."
Former ECW and WWE star Lance Storm quickly replied to Klein's tweet with, "I don't want to bother reading. Is his reason because he's upset most are having better matches and accomplishing more than he did during his run?"

Eric Bischoff Gives His Thoughts On The Professional Wrestling Scene Today

The wrestling industry we knew from the Hulk Hogan and even the Attitude Era has dramatically changed. Some embrace it while others challenge all that is happening. Once on the former's side, Eric Bischoff is now leaning towards the latter.
While reviewing WCW Souled Out 2000 on the 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff and Conrad Thompson discuss how the landscape has changed, using a Bret Hart rant from the dying days of WCW as an example. Bischoff empathized with a lot of what he wrote, even though Bret was never happy about his time in WCW. The product today, like WCW's product years ago, is different than what people are used to. Eric has heard similar comments like Bret's from various legends from the industry.
"I've heard the same thing from Dusty Rhodes to Ole Anderson to Greg Gagne," Bischoff stated. "Everyone I talked to that was a generation older than the current generation of wrestling lament the fact that the industry has changed; it is not what it used to be, the young guys are killing the business. I have been hearing the same conversation since 1987 from different people. I listen to it from Nick Bockwinkel, from Wahoo McDaniel and Ray Stevens. It is true. I think the business today doesn't reflect at all what the business was 15 years ago."
There are various reasons for the change in the business. While competition has been lagging since WCW died, the wrestling world has seen organizations try different things. Others, according to Eric, have either not changed or have done so for the better.
"It is completely different; it is completely scripted and sanitized," Eric went on to say. "On one side of the equation, you have WWE. On the other side you are watching stuff from the independent scene that looks more like America's Dumbest Home Videos in some cases. Then there's great stuff in the middle like Cody and the Bucks who are doing All In. Ring of Honor and other independent promotions are doing some really cool stuff as well."
While there are complaints all over, there is not much the older generation can do. Eric has accepted this due to the industry always changing on the fly. He recommends others do the same.
"The industry has changed and it always will," said Bischoff. "It will be different 20 years from now than it is today. You either adapt or you cry about it. Change your expectations, embrace the new way the product is being presented or you sit back and you get bitter and you talk about the good old days. Its the nature of the business. The same is probably true with really hardcore football fans. Sh*t changes, you got to change with it."

Kurt Angle Talks Actually Punching Brock Lesnar In The Face During A Match, Remaining WWE Goals

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle did another Facebook Q&A with fans. Here are some of the highlights:
If he has actually punched any WWE Stars in the face during a match:
"Yes. Let me see....Brock [Lesnar], [John] Cena, Shane [McMahon], and [Samoa] Joe. I've done it quite a bit. My punches can be a bit stiff...LOL. One time I hit Brock in the face, and he said to me 'Do I owe you money or something?'"
Eddie Guerrero winning his first WWE Championship:
"Eddie broke the barrier of being undersized and winning the World Title. He and Chris [Benoit] made a huge statement at WrestleMania 20. It was one of the greatest 'feel good' moments I've ever seen. Eddie was the most deserving of this prestigious moment. He earned it."
If it bothers him how everyone usually comments on Brock Lesnar's botched shooting star press during their match at WrestleMania 19, despite the match being really good:
"No, everyone knows how good it was. I'm happy that people talk about the shooting star press, that's what gets people that haven't seen the match interested in watching it."
What's left to accomplish in his wrestling career:
"I have nothing that I feel I need to accomplish, other than an amazing retirement match, whenever that is."

When The Guy On Twitter I "Outted" For Snitching Admits He Snitched (Fucking Dumb Ass)

YES, "TJB" aka @ItsMe_TJB on Twitter who I outed in a story posted here yesterday ( https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2019/02/when-i-put-mark-in-check-on-twitter.html ) for snitching on me and getting me again in Twitter jail, has come clean, ON TWITTER NO LESS, and admitted he snitched!! I know he snitched on me and two others and guess what, I have proof he did INDEED snitch, proving i was right when i correctly accused him of being a bitch who couldn't handle being put in  check by me, and acouple others.

Here's the proof. HIS OWN ADMISSION that he's a snitch.

Moron dumb asses like this need to go to snitching school because one of the first lessons if you want to be a snitch is, you don't brag about publicly. Bragging that you're now going to be known as a snitch isn't, something that's to be proud of. But... This is the mentality of the current day wrestling mark I guess. Thinking it's a 'cool hip thing' to be known as a snitch.

When did it suddenly become 'cool' to want to be known as a snitch? I must've missed that movement. Where i come from your ass gets beat or worse for snitching. But I guess when you can hide behind a keyboard and a monitor and be a Twitter tough guy, and not have to face anyone because you lack the balls to do that, this is the only way they can feel like they're bad asses. In reality it just re-enforces the fact, they're little bitches with no real balls who have to snitch so that way they can feel better about themselves after they get chumped in public (and fail to remember that they asked for that to happen in the first place with their own actions, another thing they're quick to side step).

So by all means go on Twitter and let "YJB" know about this story, what's he gonna do? Cry some more on Twitter? LOL!

THE UNDERTAKER TO APPEAR AT STARRCAST (Someone Coughed Up Twenty Five Grand, lol)

Based on the story I (and others later on caught up to me on) right here https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2019/02/the-undertaker-charging-big-bucks-for.html About Undertaker charging $25,000 per non-WWE Appearance, There's This.

The Undertaker will make his first-ever high profile non-WWE appearance in The United States at the second Starrcast event promoted by Conrad Thompson the weekend of AEW's Double or Nothing.

“I know people might assume this is an AEW event, but that is not true,” Thompson told Sports Illustrated. “We have wrestlers appearing from every promotion from all over the world, and Starrcast isn’t just for All Elite Wrestling fans, it’s for all wrestling fans.  The Undertaker is synonymous with wrestling and generations of wrestling fans have grown up with The Undertaker. We wanted to bring something unique to Las Vegas, and there isn’t anyone more special in this business than The Undertaker.”

Wonder where Conrad scraped up $25,000 from? LOL.

FORMER WWE AND IMPACT STAR SUING LANDLORD OVER WRONGFUL EVICTION

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that a civil trial is currently underway as former WWE star and Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Brooke Adams and her fiancee Weston Wayne Piper are suing their former landlord, Fan Chen for wrongful eviction after they received several eviction notices over the emotional support dog they had brought into their home.

Adams testified that she brought the dog into their home to help her fight depression.  The couple had already paid a pet deposit for one pet dog, Noodles, but when Chen discovered an Instagram post from Adams holding the emotional support dog, Waffles, and realized it was not the first pet, issued the eviction notice.  Adams and Piper offered to pay an additional pet deposit fee but were rebuffed and after a second eviction notice, moved out during the New Year's holiday.

After they moved out, Adams and Piper received an invoice for $14,000 in lost rent, damages and attorney's fees, leading to them filing a lawsuit in State Court.  It was later bumped up to federal Court.

Adams testified in court yesterday that having the emotional support dog was her right and she was not aware she needed to inform Chen.

JIMMY USO ARRESTED (Updated With WWE Statement)

TMZ.com is reporting that Smackdown star Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Solofa Fatu) was arrested in Detroit, Michigan after authorities pulled over the car his wife Naomi was driving as she was driving the wrong way on a one way street.  TMZ's report did not list the date of the arrest.

TMZ reports that, according to their sources, the 2018 Dodge Journey Naomi was driving "reeked of booze", so she was ordered out of the car.  As she spoke to authorities, Uso got out of the car, despite being told not to do so and took off his jacket and acted as if he wanted to fight.   He eventually calmed down and listened to the police officers who stopped the car.

Uso was still arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.  He has already bonded out, according to TMZ.

The Usos are slated to face Shane McMahon and The Miz for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber PPV in Houston, Texas.

WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com And other sources.

“Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions.”

When I Put A Mark In Check On Twitter? They Cry And Snitch, LOL!

Yep, I'm back in Twitter jail again. LOL. It always happens when some mark tries his luck against me, gets checked all over the place on Twitter and then has to be a little snitchy bitch because he couldn't handle getting punked in public.

@ItsMe_TJB is the snitcher.

I got dragged into a discussion on Impact and after providing valid points on how Pursuit Channel doesn't have the viewers POP TV had, "TJB' tried saying my blog had no viewers (typical yet usual tactic of changing the subject when they no longer have any arguing power thanks to me taking it away from them), And after showing a pic of how many viewers this blog does get.. He reduced himself to trying to insult me, got his ass whacked for it and this is the result of me putting his dumb ass in check.

This is why I hate dealing with most marks, they always react and do the same kind of weal ass shit, and then snitch when they can't handle the fact they got their ass handed to them with ease by me.
