The Allegedly "Retired" Lio Rush Could Be Returning To AEW Soon (An 'Interesting' Update- 6:20 PM)

First he said he was 'retiring', then like a week or two later he decided that 'retirement time' was over.. THEN he announced he was 'retiring' AGAIN.. But wait.. He than said he was just 'going to fulfill the dates he had with New Japan.

You remember when Lio Rush announced all that? I sure do.

So NOW, according to the most well known "money mark" in the history of pro wrestling, Tony Khan, Lio Rush may be returning to AEW.

HHHMMM. Hell of a way to be 'retired', LOL!

If you're suppose fly "retired" then why are you gonna return to AEW? Dumb ass.

SEE? Not that I'm lying, he DID say it.

But I guess he, has a way different version of what 'retirement' is, compared to the rest of the real world.

Rush has been wrestling on NJPW Strong since he said he was 'retiring' again. His next appearance is scheduled to be at NJPW Strong: Autumn Attack. He will be in an eight man tag match on the first night of the tapings, followed by a singles match against Taiji Ishimori on the second night.

Here's the "Money Mark's announcement about it.

I see I'm not the only one who sees thru Lio's bullshit. Then there's this.

I can keep coming up with replies like this, there's so many.

Funny how so many though, have the same opinion I do, makes you go, HHHMMMM.

UPDATE--- 6:20PM

Looks like "Someone" didn't like this story (smiles)

See I'm the type of mother fucker who DOES have the balls to send someone I write about a link to the story I did. So what happened not less than THREE MINUTES after I sent Lio a link to this story?

THIS... LMAO!

Guess "some one", doesn't like reading the truth about them, LOL! BOOM.

WrestlingInc Writer Posts A Link That Leads You To "Pay" To See The Story They Wrote About (How Dumb Is That?)

As Kurt Angle used to say, "It's true, it's DAMN true" A writer over at WrestlingInc when writing a story On the WWE referenced "Fightful Select" as his source of the story. I did the same thing when I posted it but what I DIDN'T DO? Was what this dumb ass did.

HE (Marc Middleton as you see in the shot above) Put a link to the Fightful Select page, and guess what you get when you go and click that link he posted?

THIS.. Is what you get.. If you want to see Fightful's own version of the story, THEY want YYOOUU to "pay" to see it.

Only a complete and total moron would go and 'pay' to see a story they just seen somewhere for free.

And WHY, would a writer post a link that goes to a 'pay site'? Especially when people just read the story you just covered, for free?

What kind of idiot does that?

WEELL.. Middleton isn't alone in the idiot department because THIS ASS CLOWN over at the Wrestling Observer, did the very same thing a week ago.

I covered that fuck up here. https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2021/09/wrestling-observers-staff-still-have.html

At least here at Wrestling Past And Present if we post a link to something, we don't and won't post a link that goes to a 'pay site'.

We're better than that, and obviously 'a little smarter' than some of those 'other writers' at those so called "major wrestling news sites".

You can thank us for that, and thank THEM for showing what morons they are.

WWE Officials Caught Some Heat Over Certain Contract Situations

There was reportedly internal heat over the recent contract situations with several WWE Superstars.

As we’ve noted, Adam Cole’s contract expiring back in July caught people in the company, and Cole himself, by surprise, and the same went with Pete Dunne’s deal. There is still no word on if Dunne has re-signed, but he was offered a new deal last month.

It was reported today by Fightful Select that there was significant heat in relation to people “falling asleep at the wheel” with the details and planning of WWE NXT contracts. Word is that this wasn’t as much of an issue with the main roster as several wrestlers had talked directly with WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon about their contracts.

WWE re-negotiated several contracts in 2019, ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic, to adjust them for higher guarantees. There is no word yet on specific terms, but many of the wrestlers altered their deals. It was noted that there was confusion about some contracts that fell in NXT, and the transition between NXT and the main roster.

After Malakai Black (fka Aleister Black) was released from the company earlier this summer and he had just a 30-day non-compete clause instead of a 90-day clause, WWE reviewed many of the talent contracts to make sure nothing else caught them by surprise. It appears this is where they were caught off guard by the Cole and Dunne deals expiring.

It was reported earlier this week that Kevin Owens’ WWE contract is set to expire in January 2022. It was originally set to expire in 2023 after he re-signed for 5 years in 2018, but the deal was re-structured a few years back, and now the deal is expiring early next year, much sooner than previously publicly known. To clarify, WWE officials were aware of Owens’ deal expiring, and this is not a situation similar to Cole and Dunne.

JAKE ATLAS ON HIS WWE RELEASE, HAVING ASKED FOR A RELEASE PRIOR TO THAT, ETC.

Denise Salcedo interviewed Jake Atlas, in this hour long conversation Atlas breaks down his release from WWE, shares his experience working with the company, talks about his future and so much more. Atlas has also confirmed that this is the only interview he will be doing in regards to his release.

Jake Atlas On How He Found Out He Was Being Released, A 20-Second Phonecall from John Laurinatis

I was at dinner, it was that Friday night and I got a call from WWE incorporated. So that must mean that I don’t have the contact because that was the caller ID. So I was like ‘that’s interesting, anyone that has to call me, I have their name saved.’ There’s a lot that needs to be unraveled, but I’ll answer your question first then we can dive into the specifics. It was John Laurinaitis who I’ve never had a conversation with, he called me and he said that they are executing my 30-day non-compete clause and that was that. It was a 20 second conversation, I didn’t ask any questions, I was already expecting it and I kinda just numbed myself for the phone call.

Jake Atlas Says He Had Asked For His Release Prior to Getting Released

It was a month or two before that happened, I won’t get into the specifics about the actual conversations, but I’ll give a little insight on what was going on behind closed doors. I signed a three year deal with WWE, so around June/July I got offered a contract extension by Canyon Ceman, I turned it down. For my own reasons, we had a conversation and I said we could revisit it in 6 months. Little did I know that within that conversation, between that conversation and whenever I got released, as you are aware there are a lot of changes going on with that company and I started to get a little bit nervous. My entire run in WWE was the most, and I don’t know how to word this, it was probably the worst mentally I have ever been. My mental health was probably the worst it's ever been, the last two years that I was with WWE. So when I turned down the contract extension, I counter offered with some terms of my own and I more than anything wanted a meeting with Triple H and our conversations were kind of at a standstill and as you know Canyon ended up getting let go himself. So then that put me in a really weird situation, I had asked Canyon for my release at some point in our conversations, it wasn’t a ‘I wanna leave,’ it was more so a conversation of ‘ I want to be here, and feel like I have so much value and I feel like I am not being heard.’ I had requested a meeting with Triple H for 6 months, and I never got it. I think that that was the thing that kinda had me worrying the most in that ‘I don’t know how they see me, or how they view me, or how they value me.’ There were a lot of things that I wanted to do and talk about and I was just given the runaround. So I said that ‘I wanted to ask for my release, I don’t want to, I want to stay but my mental health comes first and I am suffering.’ I was told that I would get the meeting with Triple H and a couple weeks passed, I took a trip to LA, in between when I had the final conversation about what was going on with me. I took a trip to LA to unwind, and I wanted to go back for the summer, then I came back and it was the week after that I got let go. I don’t have the answer as to if I was already on the chopping block which is why I was hesitant to even say that I asked for my release because then people would be like ‘you’re ungrateful.’ I understand the narratives that people will want to say by me saying that I wanted to quit. You have to understand that my mental health was really bad, not at that given moment. I am strong now but the entire time it was not good. So I felt like I needed to leave for myself like I needed to put myself first. So I just want people to understand and not think that I was ungrateful for having a job because they’ve been releasing left and right. I take my mental health and my sanity and being alive before I take having a job. To this day I don’t know if I was already on that list to have been cut or if they went through Canyon’s emails after he got let go, saw that I didn’t want to be there. I wish I knew that answer, but I don’t want to ask. I’ve moved on completely, I obviously asked for a reason and when it happened it’s like be careful for what you wish for, you got it, what’s next?

Jake Atlas Reveals He Got Really Sick Due To Covid in June, Says Internal and External Factors Led To His Bad Mental Health, Felt Disconnected From Himself

I personally don’t think that I was ready for such a big shift in my career, I didn’t know how to handle pressure well, I still don’t think I know how to handle pressure well but that’s something I have to cope with. The first year was magnificent but it was also a very weird year because a pandemic happened. I got Covid around June. That was something I stayed silent on and no one really knew until now. That really affected me, I got really really sick, it affected my lungs, I still feel like it’s affecting me, not like other people who have had complications, but you can definitely feel different, atleast I do after getting it. So I started to put pressure on my own performances, and kinda just started seeing myself kinda flee away from the wrestler that I was. I feel like in 2019 I was on such a high… It was just an immense amount of pressure, constantly being reminded by the fans that I shouldn’t have gone to WWE, always being told something about what I should have done. It really got to me mentally, then I didn’t feel satisfied with what I did, and I also didn't feel like I was myself... I started training with Roderick Strong weekly, and I trained with him for about 6 months, one of the most positive influences in my career so far. Roderick Strong told me about different avenues that I could take to kinda better my mental health. WWE does provide many things, they provide therapy and counseling and they cover it and they encourage you to take it. I remember saying ‘I need to do this or it’s gonna get ugly.’ Up until March of this year, from March of 2020, which was only 3 months into starting there to March 2021 is when I just had a mental breakdown almost every day. There are days when I would just cry, it was just an immense amount of pressure again that I would put on myself. I just didn’t feel like I was breaking out or being myself or getting people to get behind me. I didn’t feel like I was offering anything authentic. I remember watching my matches back, and I would see this Jake Atlas on the screen and I remember just being so disconnected from what I was watching on TV. It was really rough and tough but I am glad I got the help that I got.

They actually take very good care of you, if you get Covid pretty bad because everyone gets it differently. I know for me it got pretty bad, I was out for about a month, maybe 6 weeks...WWE was always great at taking care of us during the pandemic even to this day to my knowledge.

Jake Atlas Says WWE is More Than Ready For LGBTQ+ Representation, But It Will 'Take The Right Person To Be Able To Do It'

As the person who is openly gay and coming into this brand with that behind him, I could have done more for myself, to speak up and kind of join the conversation and lead them to creating something, that could have been more for the brand. I was too late after I realized that I could and should have done that. I was too afraid, I was too shy, I was too closed off early on and I wanted to just do everything right that I didn’t think to speak up and say ‘well let’s actually talk about it, let’s have a conversation about this so that we can help so many people and kinda just bring a new perspective to the brand.’ I am not pointing fingers and I am not saying anything negative, everything is a two way street. When they came this way, I should have fought back and said, ‘Well I think this.’ I do think they would have been completely receptive about it because I will say, WWE is more than ready for LGBTQ+ representation on their shows, and it’s just gonna take the right person to be able to do it.

Jake Atlas Says He Was Not Asked To Be Part of the Vince McMahon Training Session That Occured At The Performance Center

I was not asked to be part of the Vince McMahon training session, where he would be walking around and taking a look at the Performance Center, it was a select group of people, some people were told not to be there, some people were told to be there. I still to this day don’t know what that meant or didn’t mean. It stung a little bit, but I remember looking at it two ways. I remember saying to myself, they either don’t want me there because they didn't want Vince or whoever was there to see me... or it could have been we weren’t asked to be there because they wanted to keep us in NXT. I don’t know, I looked at it both ways. The second one helped me sleep at night. {laughs}

Jake Atlas Says He Has Not Spoken with Tony Khan, Admits He Went Incognito to Watch Jungle Boy Wrestle Chris Jericho in AEW

I am obviously interested in going to AEW. I have not talked to Tony Khan personally. Jungle Boy is one of my best friends, I feel like for the past two years we’ve kinda have had to hide our friendship a little bit because we worked for rival companies...I love him to death. I think that our story is unique and I think our story is great. I actually went incognito to watch Jungle Boy wrestle Chris Jericho when I was working {with WWE}, it was in Jacksonville, so I took the drive up… he’s like a brother to me and I am excited to see what can happen in the future... Jungle Boy is someone who I am always going to respect and love and I am always gonna root for him whether we’re in the same company or we never wrestle again. He’s doing amazing things and I know that no matter what I decide to do, in wrestling or not in wrestling, he’s going to continue to support me.

CRIMINAL RECORDS IN DEATH OF MATT 'TRAVIS' PALACIOS SEALED BY NEW YORK CITY CRIMINAL COURT

The criminal records regarding the 2019 death of New York City independent wrestler Matt "Travis" Palacios are slated be sealed on 9/30, according to New York City Criminal Court records.

Luc Vu, the man charged in relation to the incident, has completed his compliance after pleading guilty last year to reckless driving and failure to exercise due care, causing serious injury as well as failure to yield to a bicyclist.   The order to seal the records was made on 9/3 and will be completed on 9/30 after Vu makes a final payment to the court.

After pleading guilty, Vu's driver's license was revoked for six months and he was levied a $250 fine for failing to yield to a bicyclist charge.  He was told at the time that he would receive a conditional discharge after a year.  That has now happened.

Palacios was struck while traveling on a bike path in East Harlem about 2:30 AM on Saturday 11/9/19 when a dump truck driver made an illegal left u-turn to get onto the Willis Avenue Bridge.  Travis was struck and although rushed to the hospital, suffered serious trauma and was pronounced dead when he arrived.      It is not clear whether Vu was aware he struck Travis.  Vu was driving for Parsipanny, New Jersey-based D&A Contracting LLC, which fired him upon learning of his arrest.

“I’m shocked, happy and depressed at the same time,” said Palacios' mother, Yolanda Nieves to StreetblogNYC last year after Vu had been charged.  “I was so depressed without my son. [Vu] should pay for what he did to my child — if it was a mistake he could have said he was sorry, but I haven’t heard any apologies.”  Nieves told Streetblog she felt she had been kept in the dark during the investigation.

Palacios, who was returning home from professional wrestling training when he was struck, was only 25 years old.

AEW's Private Party, Santana and Ortiz paid tribute to Palacios on an episode of Dynamite shortly after his passing.

Dustin Rhodes and Kahagas vs. Phi Delta Slam February Faceoff 2.24.2007 (CCW Classics 1)

Before he was "All Elite," and after his initial run as Goldust, The Natural Dustin Rhodes was a mainstay at Coastal Championship Wrestling. One of the longest running CCW Heavyweight Champions in our company, Dustin was the anchor of the early and mid 2000s that CCW sorely needed. This match in Sebring, Fla against Phi Delta Slam ono February, 24, 2007 proved to be a bloody mess that no referee could control.

Episode 50. I didn't anticipate getting to 50 episodes. But here we are. CCW's Flagship Show Alive Wrestling, now with 50 episodes. Coastal Championship Wrestling- CCW Alive Wrestling: Episode 1.51 "Franchise" feat. Moose, Fonzie, Ariel Levy, and Christi Jaynes.

Episode 51 CCW's Flagship Show Alive Wrestling, now with 51 episodes. Destiny Awaits in Port St. Lucie, Florida was possibly the greatest show in CCW history. Tonight, we watch a few amazing matches from it, as we hear from Christi Jaynes. Former TNA World Champion, 2X Impact Grand Champion, Mr. Impact Wrestling Moose makes his CCW debut against The Franchise of CCW, Cha Cha Charlie. This match had the audience rocking the whole way through. Did you want to see a fight? Not a wrestling match, a FIGHT. The Manager of Champions, Bill Alfonso and the South American Alliance are incredibly mad at Lew Spectre's Resident Scumbags. Bianca Carelli made her debut against Tiffany Nieves at Bash at the Brew 8, and she rubs some dirt in. Thank you for watching CCW, it allows a group of us to wake up and do what we love, professional wrestling, our passion. Thank you for being a part of it.

The Billionaire "Money Mark" Suddenly 'Couldn't Afford' To Get The Proper Intro Song For Bryan Danielson ("Daddy said No" LMAO!)

At the close of AEW All Out, Bryan Danielson made his AEW debut. Danielson made the save for Christian Cage and Jurassic Express after Cole joined The Elite in beating them down.

But he didn't come out to the song that was so aligned with him. Danielson initially came out to his WWE theme, “Flight Of The Valkyries” by Wilhelm Richard Wagner before the theme transitioned into “Born For Greatness”.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer (for whatever his word's worth lately) reported that AEW did attempt to get “The Final Countdown” for Danielson. However, the rights to the song were reportedly too costly for AEW.

So according to that, you mean to tell me, that Tony Khan, the most well known billionaire 'money mark' in the history of wrestling "suddenly" can't afford to buy something?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This is same Billionaire who paid for the rights to not one, but TWO versions (including the WRONG version) of "Wild Thing" for "Stone Cold" Jon Moxley and just paid I'm sure, a ton of cash for "Cult Of Personality" for C.M. Punk, but suddenly he can't afford top get the one that's most associated with Bryan Danielson, LMAO!

Isn't this the same 'money mark' who's been writing big checks after big checks so he can get for WWE cast offs, firees and what not to pad up an over inflated roster, even though HE, Cody AND Jericho claimed that AEW wasn't gonna hire a lot of former WWE wrestlers because they wanted to be the 'alternative' to WWE?

Yep, same guy...

But suddenly it's 'too costly' to pay for something.. The humor in that is very amusing to me.

I'm sure the Tony Khan "Marks" are gonna chime up and try to rationalize and justify it as they do with everything that makes AEW look silly, stupid or outright like amateur hour. Go ahead and chime in. The fact this came out and ol Tonyboy hasn't denied it shows that anything you "marks" might have to say, won't matter cause if Tony can spend and spend and spend for a lot of talent his company isn't even using correctly, he can afford to get the some for one of his biggest stars.

Or maybe, since Tony gets all his money from his father, it became a simple act of "daddy says no", LMAO!

Chris Jericho Refused To "Do The Job" When It counted The Most (Defeating MJF At All Out)

When I heard that Chris Jericho and MJF were going to have ANOTHER match (even though they already went thru this very badly booked feud and MJF won it), I know just knew that Jericho wouldn't do what was right for business and instead? Would do what would satisfy his ego. He defeated MJF at All Out when really the feud was already over.

I guess this was Jericho's way of saying "Me lose a feud to him? That don't work for me, brotha".

And the very fact he didn't lose this match, which had the rotten, lame, weak ass stipulation of if Jericho loses he has to do commentary for now on absolutely proves the above sentence to be correct. He didn't and WOULDN'T do the job for MJF when it counted the most. Jericho just HAD to get the 'last word' even though his 'last word' doesn't really mean shot in comparison to the bigger picture.

I wasn't the only one who had a feeling this might happen. I listened to this clip from Jim Cornette's podcast where he and Brian Last BOTH said, if Jericho has the balls to not do the job for MJF in this match, that it would be bullshit.

Guess what, Cornette, Last and I, were all right on this. Absolute, bullshit.

Here's the clip from Cornette's podcast I'm speaking about.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2LK8tg7KvY&t=176s

What could possibly be the logic or mindset of Jericho going into this? Other than "I'm gonna get my win  back" which means pretty much nothing since AEW has since abandoned the "wins and losses mean something here in AEW" philosophy. All this is, is Jericho wanted to be 'on top' even though MJF is CLEARLY, the better performer in every way possible over Jericho. If this isn't right out of the "Hulk Hogan or Triple H" not doing jobs book i don't know what it, but even a blind man can see? It clearly is, just that.

Before you AEW fans and "Marks" start labeling me a Jericho hater and what not, let me lay the foundation here so you can see where I'm coming from.

"I've BEEN a fan of Jericho. When he teamed with Lance Storm in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, his run in ECW as well as his appearances for the WAR promotion in Japan. I'm also a fan of MJF where I've seen him in Limitless Wrestling, AAW and other indie companies (Do a search on the search engine of MJF on my site and you'll many things come up), so it's not that I'm a 'hater' of either of them. I'm a 'hater' of horribly bad booking. There's a difference.

Jericho SHOULD know what proper booking 101 is as he's been around people who know it AND have done it. He may have learned it but he's either forgotten it or just flat out refused to do it correctly.  This feud with MJF is a great example of what basic booking 101 isn't.

First you had Jericho AND MJF each having a stable, Jericho punks MJF and his stable out to where you wonder, WHAT HAPPENED to that stable? HAS there been a logical explanation as to why MJF's stable isn't around? Nope.

Then instead of booking your way UP TO having a Wargames match, they instead book it ass backwards. Instead of going from A to B to C to D, they went in some ways backwards and in other ways just boking 'whatever' is their fancy for that week, totally making the feud confusing and worthless.

THEN we have this Five Labors Of Jericho crap which leads TO a match where MJF defeats Jericho and that should be the end of it.. Time for MJF to move on to something bigger and better now that Jericho has 'elevated' MJF.

BUT NNNNOOO, NNOO, OOHH NOO. God forbid something as logical and makes the most common sense happens. That just isn't the "AEW way" you know.

WWEEE have to have 'one more match', which after all this, most fans who have some sort of basic knowledge of the wrestling business are scratching their heads, asking "WHY? What's the point"? MJF clearly won and it's time to end this horribly bad booked feud and hope both wrestlers get something else better to do.

But obviously, Tony Khan didn't have the balls to put a halt to it when it should've been halted. SSOO, we get what happened tonight on All Out.

If Jericho loses he has to stop being in the ring and be in the commentary booth for now on.. (Yawns)

In an interview with Sports Illustrated Jericho explains that it was a 'really important' detail tat he tapped out to MJF in their match on Dynamite. You can see his quote below.

If THAT was such a fucking 'IMPORTANT' detail then why isn't the 'important detail' of truly elevating MJF with a victory on ALL OUT, left out? HHMM?

I guess 'important details' only matter when Jericho wants them to matter.

Bottom line is MJF doesn't look better nor is he elevated because of this, and NEITHER is Jericho. All Jericho did was 'pull a Triple H' and refused todo the job when it counted the most. He did exactly what the Young Bucks did to FTR when The Bucks faced FTR. Buried them because their ego couldn't handle the fact there ARE better teams and talents in AEW than them. Jericho sees the same thing in MJF but his pride and ego refused to let MJF have the victory that would've elevated him.

Besides, Jericho is soon going to be going on tour with his rock group Fozzy, so what the fuck does it matter if you jobbed to MJF on the pay per view? People are still gonna buy tickets to your rock concerts, you being off AEW TV would actually be a GOOD THING.. And when the tour's done, THEN you could come back and finagle your way to another possible rematch with MJF.

THAT, is actual logical booking and does make sense. But as I said, It seems Jericho has forgotten what logical booking is.

Instead we had to suffer with Jericho throwing ego and possibly a power play to 'get the last word' and 'get a win'. Which to most fans who watched this tonight? Even hardcore AEW fans? Saw the bullshit written all over the place when it came to this decision.

Now some AEW fans and 'marks' may not like what I said here, but the truth is the truth. The writing is written all over the wall on it and no matter how much Jericho will try to spin it? Most people will hear the bullshit in the spin, no matter how much he tries to justify his ego stroking with that win tonight.

Now before any of you try and say "A DUH, I bet you wouldn't say this or send this Jericho". I'd love to, but last month I had the balls to send him a link to THIS article here?

https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2021/08/chris-jericho-gets-checked-twice.html

As much as like to try and be snarly with "Marks" on twitter, he saw that article and punked out of trying it with me. I smacked and 'checked' him with facts and his own words coming back to slap him, and THIS was the end result of him knowing, he got 'checked'

.

As you see, when Jericho knew he was 'checked' and put in his place?

He bitched up.. And ran to hide behind a block, like most do when they know I took any ability to argue or reply away from them.

He pretty much did what the "Marks" who get 'checked' by me do. Typical yet, so predictable (smiles)

So there you go, Jericho just HAD to 'get his BBIIIGG win back' at the result of not doing the right thing and elevating someone who clearly has more talent and COULD put asses in seats.

Guess ego was more important, even though his pay day was gonna be the same if the match result was different.

"That doesn't work for me, brotha".

Not a better example of that, than what everyone saw tonight, with Jericho vs MJF.

AEW'S EVP's The Young Bucks FINALLY Decided To Drop The AEW Tag Titles (Lucha Brothers Won Them At All Out)

Well it's about fucking time they did it. The AEW's EVP's The Young Bucks FINALLY did 'a job', and dropped the AEW Tag team titles that they should've dropped a long time ago. I wonder if Tony Khan went up to them and said "Daddy said job" since the Young Bucks AS "EVP's" have no doubt used that title top 'maintain' in their eyes, that they're the top tag team in AEW.

But the influx of actual talent that CAN and HAVE moved the needle and put asses in seats more than the Jackson Brothers, it's about damn time they saw the light that they're not the 'top draw' they always thought they were.

The reality is they should've dropped it to FTR when they came in BUT, as guys who have power and a title usually do, The Bucks refused to pass the torch and exercised their power ego so that way they could bury FTR, even though most fans saw that THAT is exactly, what the Bucks did. But hey, better late than never so hopefully we'll start to see less of the Bucks since some actual REAL talent is now making their way to AEW.

So the Lucha Bros. won the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks at tonight’s All Out.

The match included Fenix flying off the top of the cage and Matt Jackson bringing in a shoe with thumbtacks on the bottom of it.

Penta and Fenix hit a spiked piledriver on Nick Jackson to finally win via pin fall. Post-match, the champions were in tears as they picked up the big victory. Penta’s family came out to the ringside area and gave him a big hug.

Maybe now the Yong Bucks can now regulate themselves to the YouTube shows where they really belong. (smiles).

Matt Cardona Is No Longer A Garbage Wrestling World Champion- A Garbage Wrestler Is

Jon Moxley appeared as a surprise on the Game Changer Wrestling event tonight in Chicago, IL and defeated Matt Cardona for the Game Changer Wrestling World title. It had been hyped going into the show that Cardona would be issuing an open challenge for the championship.

Cardona initially introduced Frank The Clown as his opponent. After hitting a belt shot, Cardona quickly defeated Frank The Clown to retain the title.

Gage's Team MDK defeated Rickey Shane Page's 44OH! in the War Games match at tonight's GCW show. The War Games cage was then left up for Cardona's open challenge.

G-Raver then came out to the ring with a group of druids. After entering the ring, they left until there was only Cardona and one druid left. The druid hit a Paradigm Shift DDT and then revealed himself to be Moxley. Moxley gave Cardona a Paradigm Shift onto light tubes and pinned him to win the GCW World Championship.

Above you see Moxley pinning Cardona.

After his title win, Moxley was confronted by former GCW World Champion Nick Gage. Moxley told Gage that he knows where to find him if he wants a title shot. Gage cut a promo saying that -- since Moxley is GCW World Champion -- their match will be happening in GCW. Gage announced that he'll be facing Moxley in a death match for the title at GCW's show in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday, October 9.

Cardona defeated Gage to win the GCW World Championship this July. At tonight's show, Cardona came out wearing "Death Match King" gear and with a spinner title belt. Cardona called himself the GCW Universal Champion.

This should set up a title match with Nick Gage, which the promotion has been building to slowly, for later this year.

The Art of War Games took place at the Grand Sports Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Moxley is facing Satoshi Kojima as All Out takes place at AEW All Out in Hoffman Estates this Sunday night.

Since PWInsider Can't Give A Better Answer To A Question, I Guess I'll Have To Do It For Them

Mike Johnson of PWInsider in his Q&A today had a simple question that had he taken maybe sixty seconds? He could've had a better answer than the one he gave to the person who sent in the question.

But I guess taking that much time to find a better answer is too much time for him. SSOO, after leave it to me, who obviously has more knowledge than Mike does to furnish a better answer.

Here's the question, circled in red.

Now all one has to do, is do a simple search over at YouTube, and LOOK at what you see there.

Would you LOOK AT THAT, a listing of the shows, HHHMMMMM. How difficult was that to do?

I guess for Mike Johnson, it's pretty difficult.

And before some dumb ass messages me and says "UUHH that's not streaming", it's a whole lot better answer than the one Mike gave.

Better to give SOMETHING, than the pretty much, nothing answer Mike gave.

I wish I knew who it was that sent in that question because I would've sent them a link for that listing. But because Mr. Johnson was too lazy to do a simple search, I'll leave the link to that search, right here.

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=learning+the+ropes+tv+show+

You can go ahead tell Mike he can thank me, for doing what he for some reason was incapable of doing. You'd be pretty surprised what you can find on YouTube, if someone were to take a little time and effort to actually LOOK for it.
