ELIA MARKOPOULOS VS. JOSH BRIGGS, DREAMER IS COMING & MORE: 2/23 CHAOTIC WRESTLING 'ROAD TO COLD FURY' LIVE REPORT FROM WOBURN, MA

Chaotic Wrestling “The Road to Cold Fury”

Woburn, MA

February 23, 2018
It’s the go-home show for Chaotic Wrestling as they head into their marquee Cold Fury event next month.  Tonight’s main event has the current Heavyweight Champion Elia Markopolous going up against New England Champion Josh Briggs in a non-title match.  The man getting a shot at the Heavyweight Title at Cold Fury, JT Dunn, will face off against Martin Stone in his debut for the promotion.

MATCH ONE: “All Good” Anthony Greene & Chase Del Monte v. Cam Zagami & “Man of Steel” Mike Verna

Verna and Del Monte are currently feuding, while Zagami and Greene are also feuding.

This was a really fun, entertaining and well executed opener.  It had the right blend of seriousness with a dash of comedy that was in the context of the separate feuds.  Verna looked like he had AG beat with his finisher but the ref told him AG wasn’t legal, as they did a tag when Verna wasn’t looking.  This allowed Chase to blindside Verna and hit the Cradle 2 the Grave piledriver for the victory.

It advances the Del Monte/Verna ongoing storyline of Chase always having Verna’s number through less than on-the-level means that (I assume) will lead to a big match with them at Cold Fury.

After the match, Chase and AG went to go after Zagami, but Chase ducked out on AG.  Zagami then laid AG out to continue their feud.

WINNERS: “All Good” Anthony Greene & Chase Del Monte

MATCH TWO: Brick Mastone v. DL Hurst

Mastone returned to Chaotic last month when he laid out Brian Milonas and debuted a new Hanibal Lecter/Mankind/crazy gimmick.

There wasn’t much to this match, as it ended up being an extended squash.  To his credit, this was the best Brick looked in a long time as far as his physicality and his execution.  Plus, it was good to see him as something other than nondescript wrestler guy Brick and trying to branch out character wise.  I’m excited to see where it goes.

Mastone won with a modified Dragon Sleeper.  After the match, Milonas came on screen and said he promised GM Johnny Vegas he would stay out of the building because he would hurt him, but announced he got his wish and they would go one-on-one at Cold Fury.  Good segment building to next month.

WINNER: Brick Mastone

MATCH THREE: Killanova, Inc. (Christian Casanova & Tripilicious) v. Scotty Slade & Mikey Webb

This ended up being an okay match after a rough start.

The finish saw Tripilicious pull out a chain to use against Webb, which he often does in matches.  Webb cut him off and the chain ended up in Slade’s hand.  He went to use it, but Tripilicious ducked and Slade hit Webb.  They then dumped Slade outside and hit a double team Codebreaker on Webb for the win.

I would like to see Casanova branch out as a singles more in Chaotic as I think he has a lot of potential.

WINNERS: Killanova, Inc.

Tommy Dreamer appeared on the screen and cut a promo saying he’s coming back to Chaotic at Cold Fury to get extreme and he’s bringing some friends with him.

MATCH FOUR: JT Dunn (w/ Sammi Lane) v. Martin Stone

This was a really tremendous, hard hitting, nose-to-the-grindstone style of match that was a joy to watch.  It was two veterans who have worked together multiple times putting on a clinic.  There really is nothing more to say about this terrific contest.

The finish came when both guys got into a wild slap and striking battle at the end.  After firing up for a big lariat to end it, Stone turned and ran right into a running elbow from Dunn for the win.

After the match, Dunn cut a very good promo putting over the Cold Fury match against Markopolous.

WINNER: JT Dunn

INTERMISSION

MATCH FIVE: Chaotic Tag Team Titles – The Maine State Posse (Danger Kid & Aiden Aggro) v. The Logan Brothers (Matt & Bryan)

The Logans are 9-time Chaotic Tag Team Champions.

This match was clearly designed to build toward something else at Cold Fury, and everyone played their parts really well.  It was an entertaining enough match, but the story was the involvement of Casanova & Tripilicious.

Danger Kid was about to make a hot tag to Aggro after an extended heat spot when Casanova and Tripilciious pulled Aggro off ringside.  At the finish of the match, the ref was distracted and the Logans used the powder as they are want to do and threw it in the eyes of Aggro.  They went to go for their double team move when Casanova pulled the leg of one of the Logans from ringside.  This allowed Aggro to roll-up the other Logan for the win.  Very clever finish.

WINNER: The Maine State Posse

MATCH SIX: Chaotic Women’s Title – Ashley Vox (c) v. Delmi Exo

This is the third match in the last few months between them.

Before Vox could get to the ring, she was jumped by Davienne.  Exo came out to help her sister when Alisha Edwards came from the back and jumped Exo.  This brought out GM Johnny Vegas to make it a tag team match with The Sea Stars against Davienne & Edwards.

Edwards ended up getting the pin on the champion Vox after a long, extended heat that saw Exo selling most of the match.  The highlights of this one were the work of Davienne and Edwards.  They both showed a lot of fire and intensity in their performance and were great to watch.  They teased some competitive rivalry between the two of them during the match.

WINNERS: Davienne & Alisha Edwards

MAIN EVENT: Non-Title Match – Elia Markopolous v. Josh Briggs

The finish saw Elia go for the belt to hit Josh.  Dunn came to the ring and stopped him, but as they struggled, Elia got the belt away and hit Josh with it while the referee admonished Dunn.  That allowed Elia to get the win.

I thought this was a good main event.  Elia is light years better as a heel than he was a babyface and his performances in that role keep getting better.  Briggs is slowly improving in each performance as well, and he did just fine tonight.

WINNER: Elia Markopolous

After the match, it was a non-stop schmoz with everyone lined up to face each other at Cold Fury.  Killanova, The Maine State Posse, The Logans, Chase Del Monte, Cam Zagami and Anthony Greene all came out and took each other out.  This led to a huge Briggs dive over the top to the floor on everyone.  Dunn and Elia faced off in the ring and Dunn was down on the floor.  Sammi Lane came in and stopped Elia.  They all came to their feet, and instead of hitting Dunn, Elia clocked Lane with the belt. It got the desired effect as the crowd went pretty quiet for the big sell. Dunn carried her out of the ring.  I thought this was a really good ending building toward Cold Fury.

Overall, this was an excellent show.  I thought they did a really great go-home show.  All of the big angles were emphasized and everything got over really well

EDDIE EDWARDS VS. SAMI CALLIHAN TO HEADLINE IMPACT WRESTLING THIS THURSDAY

The main event for this Thursday's Impact Wrestling on Pop will be Eddie Edwards vs. Sami Callihan, the bout where Edwards was injured after a spot where a baseball bat was used and cracked Edwards full force in the face after it rebounded off a steel chair.

We are told the match (described to us as "incredible" by a production source) as well as the baseball bat spot and its aftermath will be featured in its entirety and that the company does not shy away from showing the spot.

The baseball bat spot led to Edwards being immediately rushed to the hospital after suffering a broken nose and several additional broken bones in his face.  The cuts resulting from the spot also needed to be glued shut.  Edwards joked after the bout during an Impact Wrestling media call that he ended up with a "pretty sweet" black eye as well as some issues with his vision

A story on Eddie Ryan of 5 Star Wrestling.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert Richardson ruled on Thursday that he was issuing sanctions on attorney Konstantine Kyros, who is representing wrestlers in concussion lawsuits against WWE. He issued a decision that Kyros would have to pay attorney costs of WWE and to inform his clients that the court had found him to have violated protocol. WWE is still attempting to get the cases filed by Vito LoGrasso and Evan Singleton thrown out, and a decision on that should come before the end of March. Kyros had been admonished for the lawsuit filed on at least one prior occasion.

WWE sent an e-mail to those coming in on WrestleMania travel packages to warn them of things banned at bringing into any WWE event over that weekend. They said everything was banned except clear vinyl bags no larger than 12 inches wide, 12 inches high and six inches deep, gallon size Ziploc bags and small clutch purses. Specifically listed as banned included banners, beach balls, bottles, cans, glass, glitter, helium balloons, large bags, laser pointers, noisemakers, outside food and drinks and tablets or iPads.

Rosa Mendes Talks Return To The Ring, Life After WWE

Rosa Mendes has plans on returning to the ring after leaving WWE last year.

During an interview with Sportskeeda a few days ago, the former WWE Superstar said she plans on getting back in the ring next week.
In response to a question on what she has planned over the next 18 to 24 months, Mendes said, "The Totally Fit Mama recipe book, coming out with some new products for Totally Fit Mama and getting back in the ring. Training starts next week! Stay tuned!"
Mendes feels that she wasn't in the ring enough during her time in WWE and that she would have loved to have been apart of the "Women's Revolution."
"I feel like I wasn't in the ring enough during my career, I was mostly a manager. I would love to get back in the ring," Mendes said.
"With the "Women's Revolution," the women have more time to have these mind-blowing matches, I would have loved to be a part of it."
After giving birth to her first child, a daughter named Jordan Elizabeth on February 13, 2016, Mendes announced her retirement from WWE exactly one year later. On how life has been for her away from wrestling, she said:
"It's been so different. Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience that I have ever had, watching my daughter grow into this little intelligent, wonderful, and caring human being has made me feel like I'm doing a really good job as a mom, Totally Fit Mama has been doing so well, we are launching our recipe book very soon. I miss the travel, can you believe that? I never thought I would ever say that, but most of all I miss the fans."
Mendes was also asked about the biggest differences she's noticed about herself after becoming a mother.
"I don't take s--t from anyone, sorry I had to swear," Mendes said.
"If people are rude and disrespectful, I call them out on the spot. Whether it's a public place or at a dinner party. I work too hard and have learned that voicing my opinion in the classiest way possible, with a smile, teaches people how you expect to be treated. I would have let things slide in the past, but now that I'm a mother, I'd like Jordan to be strong enough to defend herself if people mistreat her or disrespect her in any way."
Mendes also talked about being on Total Divas, her favorite hobbies, what she misses most about WWE, and more. To read the full interview, click here..

And then there's... IMPACT TALENTS ALLEGE PAY ISSUES, ED NORDHOLM RESPONDS

'WHAT WAS EC3 BEFORE IMPACT?' - SCOTT D'AMORE COMMENTS ON TALENT CONTRACTS, IMPACT'S ABILITY TO CREATE STARS

Metro Sport caught up with Impact President Ed Nordholm, plus Vice Presidents Don Callis and Scott D’Amore to establish whether Impact are still in the fight to succeed, or if they’re in a permanent lockdown.

During the interview, Scott D'Amore addressed the early departures of some talents, the idea that Impact isn't signing talents anymore and the importance of the company in terms of grooming talents as stars, commenting, "It’s a false narrative that we don’t have talent under contract. The vast majority of our talents are under long-term contracts. Take a look at the departure of Bobby Lashley. He was under contract to us until almost Summertime this year. When he had other opportunities, we made a decision as a group that we were okay facilitating his release earlier than anticipated.  Contracts are going to come up and will need to be renegotiated on an ongoing basis, but there’s only a small number of talent that are going to have deals coming up in the next six months.   The talent we’ve been bringing in have been signing one or two year deals. People are always scared of change. EC3 was a great talent, but people are talking as if he’s irreplaceable. What was he before he came to Impact Wrestling? He was a guy who had been in developmental and never really panned out.  You look historically at this company and the people who have come here and built a reputation, and when they leave, people think they’re irreplaceable. Well, what was Bobby Roode before he came here? Or Eric Young, or AJ Styles?"

Wade Barrett On WWE Misusing Superstars, Neville Being One Of The Best In-Ring Performers Ever

Wade Barrett spoke to SPORTbible on working with Neville and WWE's misuse of some Superstars. Here are some of the highlights:

Neville being one of his favorite opponents:
"Neville for sure is in my top three opponents of all-time. When I saw my name against him, it was almost like I knew I could go asleep during that match because everything he does is amazing. I think a lot of people look at Neville think, 'Oh he's that high-flying guy who does all the flips', but literally everything he does, from even the most basic stuff, locking up, tying up, the way he moves around the ring; the way he reacts to anything I do to him and sells my stuff is always incredible, so, he's one of the best in-ring guys ever."

WWE having limited space at the top and misusing some Superstars:
"They [WWE] misuse a lot of guys, there's a lot of guys you could do more with but at the end of the day they pick the guys they want to go with and go with them. I don't think they purposely sabotage, I think there are limited spots to be at the top of the card or the highlighted guys - there are probably seven or eight guys where it's like, 'Ok these are our main guys going forward for the next six to twelve months' and they need to be the guys getting the biggest reactions, being involved in the biggest storylines and stuff like that. So if there's a guy who is getting bigger reactions than them, then I think there is an attempt to, I'm sure, make that reaction transfer on to the guys they are going with - the guys they want to push. There are just a limited number of spots, that's the issue. You can't have everyone in those spots."
Barrett also discussed more on Neville. You can check out the full interview by clicking here.

Ivory Talks How Much She Made During Her Time With GLOW, Netflix Series Accuracy On Auditions

2018 WWE Hall Of Fame nominee Ivory, also known as Lisa Moretti, recently spoke with WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin on The Steve Austin Show. Among many other things, Ivory discussed her experience as Tina Ferrari on the original GLOW series. Specifically, Ivory talked about the GLOW audition process, how the depiction of the audition process on NETFLIX's GLOW series stacks up to the real thing, and how much she was paid during her run with GLOW.

According to Ivory, she went with a cheerleader friend to the GLOW audition.

"One of the cheerleaders, Nadine is her name, she was my buddy and she was an actress. A lot of the girls were choreographers, dancers, actresses, so she got an opportunity to go on an audition for this wrestling show and she called me to go with her." Ivory asked, "'why the hell would I want to do that?' Of course, like everybody, I imagined huge women. 'I don't know anything about it. Why would I go and get my ass kicked? For what? You're crazy!'"

Ivory recalled that she was intrigued when she arrived at the audition and an armed guard was on hand making sure the girls got to and from their cars safely.

"I went and it got even more exciting when we found the location." Ivory continued, "so we show up and we're going to this boxing gym and there's this big black guy out front and he had a gun. And he was making sure all the little girls got inside the door safe. Back to your car, out of your car, so now this did not deter me. I was starting to get intrigued. Now it's getting to be fun."

Apparently, Ivory got really interested in the pro wrestling instruction at GLOW when the instructor, Mando Guerero, made one of the girls cry for flouting his rules of no laughing and no hanging on the ring ropes.

"The training starts and Mando Guerrero is the guy in charge. Lucky Mando! He gets to train a bunch of bimbos! So imagine that poor guy, right?" Ivory remembered, "early on into the training, some girls are hanging onto the ropes, and, of course, when he teaches us how to sell, that's awkward and it can be a little bit funny. We get some giggles going. Not me! The bimbos. So, oh my God, he just snatched one of these girls off the rope, laid her down, applied some pressure, and made her cry. Oh! That's when I was like, 'I'm in. I want to learn this.' Not because she cried, but because it meant so much to him and that this was real training."

Also, Ivory put over NETFLIX's GLOW as accurately depicting the real life audition process.

"That's what's so great about the NETFLIX show, that first few episodes of showing that collection of people traveling through this audition and sitting in the bleachers, 'oh,' raises hand, 'so, are we really going to wrestle? You want us to be wrestling characters?' And they're like, 'what?' That's how we were and even if you were there because you're an actor."

Ivory divulged that she made $400.00 per week at GLOW.
"I'll give you numbers. I gave numbers to everybody." Ivory said, "I made $400.00 a week for my tenure at GLOW. I was there for about nine months."

Jim Cornette On How Much Money WWE Loses With NXT

Jim Cornette was the former lead booker for Ohio Valley Wrestling, WWE's former developmental promotion, so he has a keen interest in the company's current developmental territory NXT. On recent episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette made some revelations about how much money NXT is losing.

Cornette said he was sent the yearly and quarterly reports that are available because the WWE is a publicly-traded company. He revealed that NXT lost way more many than it made in the last two years, a luxury he wishes he had when he was at the helm of OVW.
"NXT in 2016 sold $7 million in tickets and had $20 million in expenses. In 2017, NXT had let's say $6 million in ticket sales and $25 million in expenses... In all honesty, 2016 they lost $13 million, 2017 they lost $19 million and that's not a ton of money for that whole company and organization up there. But can you imagine what me and Danny Davis could've done with Ohio Valley Wrestling if they said, 'OK guys, you can bring in anybody that you want that's not on the main roster or signed to New Japan and you can lose $32 million over the next two years.' Holy f**k!"

Cornette said OVW never was in that position even though it didn't generate a lot of money on its own. Still, he believes OVW was successful in its own right and says it was never in a bad monetary situation.

"We already had the highest rated show on the station's Saturday schedule we were on... We had numerous events that drew large houses at the Gardens and we drew at Six Flags and we produced a ton of talent. I don't know what the percentages would be but I guarantee we didn't lose $32 million," he said. "That's the thing, Ohio Valley Wrestling never lost money since it's been in operation. There have been a few years it may not have made much, but at that point in time it was the only full-time company with television running regular events in the United States besides the WWE that was profitable."

Cornette said he understands the WWE's need to develop their future superstars, so it's necessary for them to put a lot of money towards NXT. Still, he thinks the losses are very monumental, so he was surprised by the numbers.

"I understand they're making the investment in training the future superstars and they have to, they've figured out that they have to because they're not getting them from anywhere else," he said. "So they have to train their own, but my God!"

FUCK JEFF JARRETT! - An article written by me.

The title of this isn't a typo, It's a perfect fit because in the end, FUCK JEFF JARRETT!

All the other wrestling columnists and writers are doing their kiss Jarrett's ass because Vince McMahon decided he should be in the WWE's Hall of fame. Writers like Dave Scherer, Mike Johnson, Wade Keller, Dave Meltzer (and others) who slammed Jarrett in the recent past, now turn around and have their lipsd planted on jarrett's ass, scasred to tell the truth of how bullshit Jarrett's induction really is. So since the others don't have the balls to do it, I will. Because simply I'm not out hoping to get interviews from wrestlers. I don't need that for what I do to stay being successful. I don't have to hope a paywall for some elite membership that people pay to see shit that's available for free elsewhere (and I've proven that over and over again) is going to help hook people into my postings. The people come no matter wehat I post so kissing McMahon's ass or Jarrett's I don't have to do, need to do nor want to do. So like I said, since the other 'big time writers' don't have the balls to say what bullshit this is. I'll do it because I simply, have the balls they don't have.

So if you hijack Vince McMahon for a huge payoff to drop the I-C title, you make it into hall of fame? You show up like a drunken fool to an indy show, then fuck that promoter over, you get to go into the hall of fame? You try and shuck and jive Anthem Sports into buying a 'company' (GFW) that's pretty much the joke of the wrestling business, and you get into the hall of fame? Because that's exactly what Jarrett has done. All three instances are what he did and I guess that entitles him to hall of fame status in the world of the WWE. or maybe because he begged the WWE to pay for his rehab he gets to go into the hall of fame, I almost forgot that one. With all the money he made from Impact Wrestling and GFW shows (yeah right on the later) why'd he have to beg McMahon to get into rehab? Most people with them problems get themselves into rehab.

It's not like Jarrett has been a great wrestler, he's not. He when he first ran/booked Impact Wrestling when it was TNA shoved himself down people's throats trying to to prove to the whole wrestling world that he was a national main event talent when in reality. I could name a dozen other wrestlers that earned that without having to be shoved down people's throats. needless to say shoving himself down people's throats and booking himself as NWA World Champion didn't legitimize or validate him at all. If anything it showed how desperate he was at proving something that in the end he couldn't prove at all because look where he's at now. Fired from the very company he formed not once, but twice.

I've watched Jarrett matches all the way back to when he was in Memphis, getting the push because his daddy was part owner and part booker (gee, how many times have we've seen THAT before?). He may have been good for a territory like Memphis, being a USWA Champion, but I-C Champion? When I've seen true greats who are so fluid and got over way better like Bret Hart, Curt Hennig, Ricky Steamboat, even Kerry Von Erich. That's a certain level of greatness and then you add Jarrett's name? It's a level Jarrett's skills will never get to. It was like a step down having him hold any major title compared to the talent I just listed.

And his WCW run was pathetic as well. Having Russo as his buddy shove him down people's throats and getting the wrong kind of heat. The kind of heat that had me change the channel or put in an ECW or SMW tape I got in the mail, tells you how well he was recieved in my book. I just don't get the appeal and the fact that he's being inducted into a hall of fame that's pretty much a joke, would be funny to laugh at if it wasn't so pathetic and desperate on McMahon's part.

Now for anyone out there who may say "well you never met Jeff Jarrett, I can easily say, BULLSHIT! he was on a show I locally promoted for WWA New England back in 1998 in Farmington, NH. he was part of the WWF Training Dojo they had running at the time wheich featured Kurt Angle(managed by Dory Funk Jr.), Hardys, and William Regal was on it as he was rehabbing a leg injury. He got over but not as over (as I told the Bruce Prithard, Tom pritchard and WWA New England owner Fred Sparta) as Regal being a heel manager (Managing Tom Pritchard)and getting on the mic. So I met him, my opinion then was the same as it is now.

With so many other more deserving wrestlers who actually earned or want to be in this hall of fame, this act of desperation by McMahon for only reasons McMahon knows (to give Jarrett a payday he can't earn with Global Farce Wrestling?), this makes the WWE Hall of fame look more of a fucking joke now than ever before. If there's one wrestler right now that doesn't deserve to be there? It's Jeff Jarrett.

So yes, FUCK JEFF JARRETT! That's right, I said it.

Guess she wants to forget the people HE Screwed over, eh? KAREN JARRETT ON HUSBAND'S WWE HOF INDUCTION,

I see I'm the only 'hater' columnist/wrestling writer because everyone else is kissing Jeff Jarrett's ass about his WWE HOF induction. Since I'm the only one who has enough guts or balls to openly say I see thru the bullshit on this. I'll gladly stand alone as the only one with balls enough to speak the truth since PWInsider, ProWrestling.Net, Torch or Observer don't have the guts I have.

I will be posting an article later today that I'm in the midst of writing about this subject. Like I said, nobody else has the balls to do it, so I'll do it.

Karen Jarrett commented on her husband Jeff Jarrett's announced induction into the WWE Hall of Fame this evening on Twitter, responding to my comment that it was amazing how Jeff always seems to land on his feet, writing:

River City Wrestling, MCW and CWE Legends Of Wrestling stuff.

River City Wrestling is back on March 2 with Abyss vs. Michael Faith in a Monster's Ball Match, plus Jeff Jarrett, Hernandez, Katie Forbes, Barbi Hayden and more!

Wrestling fans, we are hoping that the ring will be able to withstand the amount of action it will have inside of it as River City Wrestling (RCW) presents a spectacular event at Turner Club, 5555 Duffek Drive in San Antonio, Texas (Kirby) on Friday, March 2. All ages welcome.

As just announced, Jeff Jarrett is the newest inductee into the Class of 2018 World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame which will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana during WrestleMania weekend in April 2018. Jarrett's appearance at RCW on March 2 will be his first public appearance since the news broke today regarding his Hall of Fame induction. Jarrett is a former RCW Champion.

Tickets start at just $20 and can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/rcwmarch2 until 2 p.m. the day of the event; after that, they will be available at the door when the doors open at 7:30 p.m. The event begins at 8 p.m.

V.I.P.'s enter at 6:45 p.m. and receive a free guitar stress ball and poster! A limit of 50 VIPs will be sold.

As an added bonus, those that purchase tickets online will have their seats reserved. The buyer's name will be on the chair when the doors open. Applies to first and second row only.

The main event is a collision of epic proportions. "The Monster" Abyss — 6'8", 350 lbs — will face "The Samoan Beast" Michael Faith — 6'4", 425 lbs — in a Monster's Ball Match. This type of match means that are no rules, no disqualifications, and weapons are not only allowed — they're encouraged! Abyss is seen nationally every week on IMPACT Wrestling (POP TV, Thursday nights at 7 p.m. CST) and is world-renowned for these types of matches. He will be bringing with him "Janice," which is a 2"x4" with nails sticking out of it. On the other side of the ring is Faith, a massive competitor that has wrestled all over the United States as well as Japan. This is a true heavyweight contest because close to 800 pounds of humanity will be in the ring.

In addition, the RCW Tag Team Championships will be on the line in a Triple Threat match with Jeff Jarrett serving as guest referee. Champions Love & Marriage (Rob Love and Brandon Groom) will face former champions "The Pinnacle" Anthony Andrews and Paul Titan as well as "Super-Mex" Hernandez and "Super Shot" Joey Spector.

In other competition, Women's Champion Paige Turner will team with Barbi Hayden against Baby D and Katie Forbes.

More matches to be announced. This event is sponsored by Roof Doctor, Las Chiladas Restaurant and AJ Barajas with Louis Palomo Insurance. For directions, call (210) 227-4412.

MVP VS. LOW KI: UNSANCTIONED MATCH SET FOR MLW'S RETURN TO ORLANDO NEXT MONTH

MVP vs Low Ki would be the match I'd want to see. Along with Havoc vs Strickland.

MLW issued the following:

UNSANCTIONED: MVP VS. LOW KI WILL GO DOWN AT MLW’S MARCH 8TH IN ORLANDO

ORLANDO – For the first time in the history of Major League Wrestling, the organization is allowing an unsanctioned match to take place on an MLW card as MVP vs. Low Ki (with Stokely Hathaway) is set for MLW: Spring Break ’18 on March 8th in Orlando.

You can purchase tickets now at MLWTickets.com.

At MLW: Road to the World Championship (available for free) Stokely Hathaway, Black Friday Management boss, along with Low Ki interfered in MVP’s bid for the World Title.  In the closing moments of the match, Low Ki knocked out MVP, assisting Tom Lawlor in defeating MVP in the opening round.

An unsanctioned match is a rarity in the sport where the sanctioning organization (MLW) has no responsibility for the competitors or their safety. A winner is decided upon his adversary’s inability to continue the match.

MVP made the challenge last night with Hathaway, in the midst of a contract dispute with MVP, working overnight with MLW on the contract for the unsanctioned match.  A statement from Black Friday Management is forthcoming later today.

“We’ve had league officials and personnel caught in the fire as its escalated between these two.  We are at the point where MLW couldn’t in good faith sanction a rematch.  MVP’s solution worked for us and frankly Low Ki.  This is a match both men wanted – as did the fans. I’m glad we found a way to make it happen but also protect MLW from the consequences of such a bout,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer.

Matches signed for March 8th thus far include:

World Heavyweight Championship Semi-Finals:

Matt Riddle vs. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor

World Heavyweight Championship Semi-Finals:

Jimmy Havoc vs. Shane “Swerve” Strickland

Fans Bring The Weapons Match:

“Bad Boy” Joey Janela vs. Darby Allin

Unsanctioned Match

MVP vs. Low Ki (with Stokely Hathaway)

More matches and wrestlers will be announced in the coming days and weeks at MLW.com.

Ticket prices range from $15-$45 with a limited number of VIP Packages also available at MLWTickets.com.

MLW Spring Break ’18 is an all ages event.

GILT is located at 740 Bennett Rd. in Orlando.

Dress code: There is no dress code for this event. If you stay for the after party at GILT there is a dress code of no hats, shorts or tank tops.

Parking: The venue has a parking lot. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a small fee for parking at the venue’s lot. Valet parking is also available at GILT.

IMPACT WRESTLING CONGRATULATES JEFF JARRETT(bet nobody will post bad reactions to this story)

I guess I'm the only "hater" on this story, LOL. But the truth is PWInsider, Observer, etc. won't have the balls to post reactions that slam the fact Jarrett is getting inducted. I find some you can bet your ass I'll post them because I don't have to kiss Jarrett's ass, WWE's or anyone's ass. This blog has been quite successful because I post the opinions the other news sites don't have the balls to post.
