Well before his success with older brother Rick as a tag team or his singles run as Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner was learning the ropes in the Bruiser Bedlam promotion that ran out of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio in the mid to late 1980s (BB was something of a successor to the WWA Indianapolis promotion that was run by Dick the Bruiser). Scott was working as a babyface under his real name, Scott Rechsteiner. He feuded extensively with then-WWA World Heavyweight Champion Greg "The Great Wojo" Wojciechowski, a well-decorated Greco-Roman/freestyle wrestling champion that turned pro and worked for WWA Indianapolis, Bruiser Bedlam, George Cannon's Superstars of Wrestling, among other promotions. Here we join a match in progress between the Great Wojo (then reigning WWA World Champion) and Scott Rechsteiner in a title match from Dearborn, Michigan (Anyone who knows the name of the venue, please post it in the comments). Dr. Jerry Graham Jr. seconds the Great Wojo for this encounter.

AUTHORITIES SEEKING HELP IN SEARCH FOR WOMAN WHO DISAPPEARED IN FLORIDA WHILE TRAINING AS PRO WRESTLER
Orlando's News Channel 8 ran a story this week, noting that authorities are seeking the public's health in hoping to uncover new details or clues relating to the 2016 disappearance of Samantha Fiddler, who had been training in professional wrestling and pursuing a career in the industry.
Fiddler was last seen in Brevard County, Florida on 11/19/16. She had come to Florida from Calgary. She was 29 when she was last seen, disappearing after just seven months in the State. Fiddler has three children she has not been in contact with since her disappearance.
“We are concerned for her safety because Ms. Fiddler’s family hasn’t heard from her in five years and she hasn’t posted anything on social media. Please help us provide answers to her family and her three children,” FDLE Tampa Special Agent in Charge Mark Brutnell told Channel 8.
The FDLE is taking on the case following the request of Canadian authorities.
Anyone who knew Fiddler or has potential information about her disappearance is asked to call FDLE Tampa at 1-800-226-1140.
Teddy Hart, who at one point dated Fiddler, came out to dispute rumors he had any contact with Fiddler before her disappearance.

OSPREAY CHALLENGES IWGP WORLD TITLE WINNER FOR WRESTLE KINGDOM 16
While Shingo Takagi will face Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight title on January 4, Will Ospreay wants the winner on January 5.
After Okada defeated Buddy Matthews on tonight’s NJPW Battle in the Valley event in San Jose, California, Ospreay came out and congratulated Okada on winning this year’s G1 tournament. He said that as the winner, Okada could challenge the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, referring to himself. Okada said that he wouldn’t challenge Ospreay, but Ospreay could challenge him. Ospreay then declared he wanted the winner of Shingo Takagi vs. Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 16 on January 4 to face him on the Wrestle Kingdom show on January 5. Okada said that he would make it rain.
Ospreay had originally vacated the IWGP World Heavyweight title back in May after suffering a neck injury. He returned in August, appearing at NJPW’s Resurgence event in Los Angeles, saying that he was still champion as he never lost the title. He said he would remain in America and has since appeared on several NJPW USA events including tonight’s show, where he defeated Ren Narita.
FORMER NXT STAR BRONSON REED DEBUTS AT NJPW BATTLE IN THE VALLEY
The former Bronson Reed has made his NJPW debut.
Reed, going under the name Jonah, appeared after Moose defeated Juice Robinson at tonight’s NJPW Battle in the Valley event. He stared down Moose, who soon exited the ring. After Moose left, Reed splashed Robinson and attacked him. Robinson’s tag team partner David Finlay ran down to try to make the save, but Jonah also laid him out.
After the beatdown, Jonah cut a promo, saying that the shackles were finally off, and it was time for the real violence to begin. He said that he was NJPW’s top dog.
Reed had been part of WWE's NXT brand dating back to 2019, when he signed with the company. He won the NXT North American Championship on May 18 of this year. After losing the title to Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott on June 29, Reed remained off NXT television until July 27, when he lost to Adam Cole. He was then released from his contract as part of talent cuts on August 6.
FORMER ROH WORLD CHAMPION JAY LETHAL DEBUTS FOR AEW
Former Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal officially debuted in AEW tonight at Full Gear in Minneapolis, coming out for an interview with Tony Schiavone before the main event.
Lethal announced he was "All Elite" and issued a challenge to Sammy Guevara for the TNT title this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Lethal's existing Ring of Honor deal was slated to expire at the end of 2021 before the promotion announced it would go on hiatus after the 12/11 Final Battle PPV.
Jay Lethal requested and received a Ring of Honor release several days ago. His deal would have expired on 12/31.
Lethal will not be appearing at Final Battle 2021 on 12/11. He is signed and sealed by AEW.
Lethal's final ROH appearance will be a match that was taped against EC3 for ROH's weekly TV.
