Former Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal officially debuted in AEW tonight at Full Gear in Minneapolis, coming out for an interview with Tony Schiavone before the main event.
Lethal announced he was "All Elite" and issued a challenge to Sammy Guevara for the TNT title this Wednesday on Dynamite.
Lethal's existing Ring of Honor deal was slated to expire at the end of 2021 before the promotion announced it would go on hiatus after the 12/11 Final Battle PPV.
Jay Lethal requested and received a Ring of Honor release several days ago. His deal would have expired on 12/31.
Lethal will not be appearing at Final Battle 2021 on 12/11. He is signed and sealed by AEW.
Lethal's final ROH appearance will be a match that was taped against EC3 for ROH's weekly TV.
