Well before his success with older brother Rick as a tag team or his singles run as Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner was learning the ropes in the Bruiser Bedlam promotion that ran out of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio in the mid to late 1980s (BB was something of a successor to the WWA Indianapolis promotion that was run by Dick the Bruiser). Scott was working as a babyface under his real name, Scott Rechsteiner. He feuded extensively with then-WWA World Heavyweight Champion Greg "The Great Wojo" Wojciechowski, a well-decorated Greco-Roman/freestyle wrestling champion that turned pro and worked for WWA Indianapolis, Bruiser Bedlam, George Cannon's Superstars of Wrestling, among other promotions. Here we join a match in progress between the Great Wojo (then reigning WWA World Champion) and Scott Rechsteiner in a title match from Dearborn, Michigan (Anyone who knows the name of the venue, please post it in the comments). Dr. Jerry Graham Jr. seconds the Great Wojo for this encounter.
