$304 Dollars For A Pic And Autograph At Summerslam? Get the FFFUUCKK Out Of Here With This Shit
Credit for this goes to Evan Ginzburg as I saw him speaking out about this.
WWE sure has a lot of gall, thinking people are actually going to be this stupid.. (Unfortunately, some people ARE, going to be this stupid) An autograph and photo with Kofi Kingston is $304 ($233 American dollars) at SummerSlam.
No way.. On God's green earth would I pay that much for ANYTHING at a pay per view.. i don't give a damn WHO it is.. To think WWE thinks they're gonna make a killing of this ridiculousness is pretty fucking amusing though. Least they have a sense of humor.

LMAO, Boy Is This Idiot Full Of Shit. Enzo Amore On If He Would Come Out Of Retirement, Compares Himself To Kurt Angle
Only on Fantasy Island would a comparison between you and Kurt Angle be taken seriously, only there. Put the crack pipe down cause you're having some REAL SERIOUS delusions there, jack ass.
Earlier today on Instagram, nZo shared a flyer for Northeast Wrestling that included WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. In his Instagram post, he said that he and Kurt Angle have a lot in common. Some of his reasonings included they were both champions, both stood in front of thunderous crowds chanting their names, and that they were both retired.
In the post, he also talked about how maybe the promoter Mikey Lombardi could entice not one but both of them out of retirement and then he wrote, one more match twice.
His full quote was, "Well whadda we got over here???! A stacked-card??! Hmmmm..... @TheRealKurtAngle me & you we share a lot in common, ????. 'e've stood in front of thunderous crowds chanting our names, beloved, hated, either way: #Champions. Both of us #Great, and both of us..... #Retired "Oh It's True" ... it's #DamnTrue! .... or is it??? I don't need anybody to twist my Jordan, but perhaps Mikey Lombardi the promoter @northeastwrestling has something enticing enough to get 1 of us... or maybe both of us out #Retirement??? #OneMoreMatch????! #OneMoreMatch!!???? (7:30 p East Wood Field #NilesOhio @northeastwrestling ???? For tix & info visit #NorthEastWrestling.com!)"
nZo did get some backlash for comparing himself to Kurt Angle. One Instagram user wrote, "You're nowhere near close to Kurt's level. Never in a million years." nZo did respond to the comment by saying that he could have won an Olympic gold medal, no problem.
He also made it clear to another user who joked about him not making it on the flyer, that he never said he was coming to the Wrestling Under The Stars event.
Will This Bullshit Ever End? IMPACT WRESTLING OWNER ANTHEM FILES COUNTER-LAWSUIT AGAINST JEFF JARRETT & GWE
I wonder when the idiots at Anthem will realize there IS NO "GWE"... Jeff Jarrett IS GWE, dipshits.
Impact Wrestling parent company Anthem Wrestling filed a counter-suit against Jeff Jarrett and his company Global Wrestling Entertainment on 7/17 in the the United States District Court of The Middle District of Tennessee, while also responding to the latest amended version of the lawsuit Jarrett and GWE have brought against them.
In their response to Jarrett and GWE’s allegations against them, Anthem argued they are the rightful owner of the copyright for Jeff Jarrett and have “acted at all times in compliance with its obligations to maintain that trademark registration”, that Jarrett and GWE granted a license for Anthem to use Jarrett’s name, that Jarrett granted a license for Anthem to use the GFW assets and that Anthem “acted at all times in compliance with that license”, that Anthem has not made any money off their usage of the GFW Amped content, that Jarrett was aware that the masters had been deleted, that there could be no “ no likelihood of confusion between any valid trademark owned by Plaintiffs and the products or content sold by Anthem Wrestling because, among other reasons, the products contained both parties’ marks”, that the look and trademarks of GFW and the “Global Fighting Network” are not confusingly similar (it was not noted the name has been dropped in favor of Impact+), that there is no likely confusion since .”Global Force Entertainment marks are weak and only entitled to a narrow scope of protection”, that Jarrett and GWE have failed to state a claim for unjust enrichment since they were compensated by Impact and that “no action or omission by Anthem Wrestling caused Plaintiffs injury.”
Anthem also cited that Jarrett and GWE were not due a jury trial as they have requested because the term sheet both parties entered into when Jarrett began working for Anthem notes, “EACH OF THE PARTIES HEREBY IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY AND ALL RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS SUMMARY OF TERMS OR THE TRANSACTIONS CONTEMPLATED HEREBY.”
Anthem also claimed that “Plaintiffs’ claims are barred to the extent they have, by virtue of their own acts, omissions and conduct, waived any and all claims against Anthem Wrestling” and that Jarrett and GWE’s “unclean hands” should bar them from any relief.
Impact’s counter-lawsuit paints a picture of Anthem’s version of events, noting, “Anthem Wrestling and Mr. Jarrett entered into discussions wherein GFE would merge into Anthem Wrestling in exchange for Mr. Jarrett receiving a seat on the board of managers, an officer-level position with a large salary, a job for Mr. Jarrett’s wife, and an equity interest in Anthem Wrestling.”
According to Anthem, Jarrett would bring his expertise to Impact (which Anthem had just acquired by calling in their loan to Dixie Carter’s company, seizing control when it was unable to pay back the debt) and would bring Global Force Wrestling and GFW brands as well as the raw footage for GFW’s planned TV series Amped!
Anthem’s lawsuit pointed out that the GFW Amped! TV content that was owned by Jarrett and GFE was “not new” and had been taped two years prior at the point they entered into their deal with Jarrett to come on board and had been unable to find anyone interested in monetizing it.
Anthem also claimed that GFW’s footage was basically floating in suspended animation at the time Jarrett came on board with Impact, as Jarrett and GWE had entered into a $292,000 agreement with Kevin Sullivan (who currently works on AEW and Impact video packages) and his company KSTV, LLC to handle all the post-production work needed on the GFW Amped material.
However, according to Anthem’s lawsuit, “KSTV performed the post-production work and turned the raw footage into marketable content but Plaintiff did not make the required payments under the Post-Production Contract. Accordingly, KSTV would not release physical custody of the Amped Content to Plaintiffs because it had not been paid for its services.”
So, the claim is that since Jarrett/GWE could not “consummate” any deals for the GFW footage, they did not have the money to pay KSTV for the GFW work at the time and KSTV was withholding the delivery of the material since they had not been paid.
Anthem claims that their planned merger offered a way “out of this dilemma” for Jarett, noting that Anthem paid $40,000 towards an installment plan with KSTV, LLC in order to get the content released so that the material could be completed and used. Anthem notes that “Jarrett was made Chief Creative Officer of Anthem Wrestling effective April of 2017, and given complete authority over its wrestling operations and the content that the company would create, market, and sell” and under his watch as CCO, “ the post-production work on the Amped Content was completed and was packaged as five different PPV broadcasts and was marketed with both the GFW and IMPACT! Trademarks.”
It is not noted in the lawsuit, but Kevin Sullivan himself was brought back to work for Impact in the production end at this time and would have likely personally overseen all of the work on GFW Amped.
Anthem noted, “The Amped Content was also packaged as DVDs and sold on-line. Also during Mr. Jarrett’s tenure as Anthem Wrestling’s Chief Creative Officer, the company decided to use the phrase “Global Wrestling Network” as a descriptor for an Over-the-Top application developed by Anthem Wrestling upon which wrestling content would be marketed.”
Anthem cited that Jarrett’s employment was terminated in October 2017 and that the planned merger did not “go as planned.” As previously reported, Jarrett later entered rehab with the help of World Wrestling Entertainment, successfully completing a program and has since been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He now works in creative and as a producer for WWE, occasionally appearing on TV as his old “Double J” persona.
In noting that Jarrett and GWE have existing claims against them, Anthem alleged that all but one of the claims arise from decisions that Jarrett was responsible for making while working for Anthem as Impact Wrestling’s Chief Creative Officer, meaning he would be responsible for everything he is alleging they did to damage GFE and himself.
The lawsuit notes, “Almost all of Mr. Jarrett’s claims arise out of conduct he personally authorized and oversaw during his tenure as Chief Creative Officer of Anthem Wrestling, a post he officially held from April to October of 2017, but performed as a consultant since January of 2017. As Anthem’s Chief Creative Officer, Mr. Jarrett gave both express and implied permission for Anthem Wrestling to use the Amped Content, the Plaintiffs’ trademarks, and Jarrett’s own image and likeness (collectively the “Jarrett Intellectual Property”) as described in the Second Amended Complaint. Moreover, while acting as Anthem Wrestling’s Chief Content Officer, Jarrett participated in and authorized the selection of the trademark GLOBAL WRESTLING NETWORK for use by Anthem Wrestling.”
The lawsuit also alleges that Jarrett broke his fiduciary duty and loyalty to Anthem, citing that Jarrett knew Anthem would rely on “his representations” and work and if he didn’t believe Anthem had the rights to utilize the GFW content while being in charge of them for Impact, he breached those duties. Anthem cited that their agreement with Jarrett “required him to act for the exclusive benefit of Anthem Wrestling and with the utmost good faith in furthering and advancing Anthem Wrestling’s interests with respect to all matters failing within the scope of his employment.”
Anthem argued, “To the extent that Jarrett’s conduct does not constitute the grant of an implied license, Jarrett breached his duty of loyalty to Anthem Wrestling when he arranged for it to use the Jarrett Intellectual Property without giving it the necessary licenses to do so and without disclosing that information to it, thus incurring extensive liability and legal expense for Anthem.”
Anthem is also claiming that when they made the $40,000 payment to KSTV, LLC to free the GFW Amped footage so that additional work could be done to prepare its release via Impact PPV and DVD releases, Jarrett and GWE were aware Anthem expected to be reimbursed for that payment, which did not happen. Anthem cites that this was unjust enrichment (because of GWE’s reduced debt to KSTV, LLC) and that their company has been damaged because of it.
Anthem is requesting, “All damages arising from Jarrett’s breach of his duty of loyalty to Anthem Wrestling, in an amount to be determined at trial, All damages arising from Jarrett’s breach of his duty of loyalty to Anthem Wrestling, in an amount to be determined at trial; The sum of $40,000 plus post-judgment interest as the sum Plaintiffs have unjustly retained by accepting the benefits of Anthem Wrestling’s $40,000 payment to KSTV and any other relief to which Anthem Wrestling is entitled after a full trial on the merits.”
I and I know other sites have reached out to Jarrett and GWE’s legal representation to see if they have any comment on the counter-suit. Should they opt to comment, we will update this article and note the update in the headline.

Update on Jeff Hardy's Arrest And John Nord Sentenced For DUI Arrests
TMZ.com reported today that the police report for Jeff Hardy's arrest over the weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC stated that authorities found Hardy unconscious in a stairwell smelling of alcohol when he was arrested on Saturday morning. Hardy told officers that he had been drinking vodka.
Hardy was taken into custody near 1600 North Ocean Boulevard, which is the address of Ocean Enclave by Hilton Grand Vacation. Myrtle Beach PD has the arrest listed as taking place at 11:30 AM.
Under South Carolina law, public disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor. Typical protocol is that the $153 Hardy paid to bond himself our doubles as the fine for first time offenders in Myrtle Beach. Hardy won't be required to appear in court if he doesn't wish to contest the charge. The arrest won't hurt his ability to appear in South Carolina and locally, is seen as similar to a parking ticket. Since he's paid the fine, that's likely the end of the situation unless Hardy wishes to argue the charge.
WWE issued the following statement in regard to Jeff Hardy's arrest: "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions."
The Minnesota Star-Tribune reported that former WWF and AWA star John Nord aka the Bezerker was sentenced yesterday to five years' probation, to be placed in restrictive housing and banned from any driving "whatsoever" following a series of arrests for driving under the influence, seven in total, in recent years.
Court records indicate there were 16 incidents where authorities charged Nord with either a felony or misdemeanor over the last decade. The most recent was March 23, 2019, where Nord was arrested for felony for driving while intoxicated/operating a car under the influence of a controlled substance as well as driving after his license was canceled. His license had been revoked after Nord was named “inimical to public safety.” There were six incidents where Nord was arrested for driving after his license was revoked.
According to the Star-Tribune, the prosecution pushed for four years in prison, arguing that Nord "represents a significant public safety threat" as he has continued to drive after his arrests and being ordered not to do so.
Nord's defense attorney argued that Nord, who has been diagnosed with ALS, had been using painkillers to deal with the physical and mental damage his work as a pro wrestler has left him with, is currently in treatment for his issues and for the rest of his life, will need to live in an assisted-living facilities.
Hennepin County District Judge Jay Quam noted that Nord's sentencing was hard to make a decision on, commenting, "Life has handed you a lot of special things On the other hand, it's taken away a lot of what makes you you."
Nord, 59 years old, was trained by Eddie Sharkey and wrestled for a number of promotions, including the AWA, World Class Championship Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling and the Pacific Northwest territory. He had a run in the early 1990s in the WWF as The Bezerker, the character he is probably best remembered for. He was among the former professional wrestlers who filed a class action lawsuit against WWE with allegations the company had hid the potential of CTE (which had not been discovered at the point Nord worked for the company) and other potential head trauma from the talents they contracted. That lawsuit had been dismissed, but an attempt to appeal that decision is currently making its way through the courts.
Nord is required to return to court in three months to show an update on his personal progress.

So.. I Watched Fight For The Fallen...
Fight For The Fallen review.
I don't know the results of this ahead of time as i didn't bother to go look, so this is written as I'm watching it.
Peter Avalon vs Sonny Kiss- I guess I'll have to be the asshole here because if these matches all have this acrobatic gymnastic bullshit in them, I'll be doing alot of fast forwarding, that's for sure. While as a fan i could get into Avalon as a heel. I'm one that is old school and a stickler for, why is the match happening? Something leading up to it, an actual 'reason' would be a hell of a concept, a concept that when AEW's TV gets going that they'll embrace so people can have a reason to get behind the talents and the 'reasons' why the matches are happening.
That being said, Sonny winning I didn't expect. Was hoping more of Leva Bates interference leading to Avalon winning. Match was short and after the initial few minutes of the gymnastic stuff, it came across good. I could see a feud coming from this that if it was done right, or done at all I could get into.
Britt Baker and Riho vs Sshoko Nakajima and Bea Priestley- This, is a breath of fresh air watching. Actual wrestling holds, chain wrestling.. very nice level of 'selling'.. Such a solid match and this was on the preshow no less.
MJF, Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears vs Darby Allin, Jimmy Havoc and Joey Janela- This was good in some parts but it all comes down to everyone has to get their little spots in to 'wow' the crowd. Along with me asking myself 'why do I care about either team? Hopefully there'll be a feud or something built off from thi, Like Spears vs Allin.. If not, it becomes another one of those pointless just t fill in time matches that after the match, nobody's gonna care about, or even remember t a week from now. and oh yeah, Janela giving the camera the finger and saying "fuck you Cornette" when he's supposed to be 'selling' being hurt on the outside? Uh yeah, ok. If there ever was an example of how bad current guys 'sell', that would be a god one, right there.
Brandi Rhodes vs Allie- If you're looking for say Sherri Martel vs Candi Devine, thus wasn't it, but it told a story. And with Awesome Kong at ringside, the classic interfering was there so it worked well. The build up for this match especially by Brandi was solid as well. So you knew something going into this. Aja Kong coming out after the match to build up a Kong vs Kong match was excellently done.
Dark Order vs Jack Evans & Angelico vs Jungle boy & Luchasauras- Well what do you know, an actual 'reason' for having a match. A goal for the winners. But I'm still with this "Why am I supposed to care" about any of these teams? Why should I be invested in them, let alone care which one moves onto the first round bye goal. WWAAYY too many of these spin kicks for my liking, and WWAAYY too many of these close two counts as well. Made me lose interest and no longer care now.
At this point it's pretty much "AAHH" when it comes to my opinion of AEW. I'm not seeing all the over hyped hoopla about it. I can name half a dozen indie groups that from start to the finish of their shows I like more.
Kip Sabain vs Hangman Page- Two guys who I haven't been able to get into before this are now facing each other. This is the kind of match I walk away from usually and make something to eat, take a piss, something. Nineteen minutes of this and I got sleepy waiting for it to end. I'm sure there's others who saw it different than me but I'm writing how I saw it. U figured fast forwarding would be a cheap way out so I suffered thru it and almost fell asleep to it. That's what happens when you have two guys you care for facing each other. The only highlight I enjoyed was Chris Jericho coming in the ring after the match. Oh yeah, Sabian wasn't the first guy to have "Superbad" as his nickname. The late Steve Bradley did it first.
SCU vs the Lucha brothers- Alot of spot fest stuff and way too many super kicks, as well as too many of this roster using the clothesline.. Guess doing moves that make you stand out as an individual is a lost art when it's just better in some way to have three dozen guys all doing the same moves. I should've hit fast forward on this as well.
Kenny Omega vs CIMA- This was a real solid match. I'm not familiar with CHIMA and Omega, there's some matches of his I like and others I could care less for. But this match told a solid story in the ring. The only thing and it's been a theme all show. way too many close two counts. When every match has this theme it doesn't 'feel' special anymore.
Cody & Dustin Rhodes vs The Young Bucks. The build up for this was as text book excellent as you can get. I'm not a fan of the Young Bucks, not at all so as a 'fan' there's the team I want the Rhodes brothers to fuck up. Alot of the typical gymnastic moves that the Bucks are known for, which of course for me is a huge turn off. BUT, it's not as bad as it usually is in their matches.. But on the flip side there's alot of that classic style of what tag team wrestling is supposed to be about here as well. The selling of matt jackson has been better than anything I've seen anywhere in the major feds in years. THIS, is what 'selling' is and alot of current era wrestlers need to watch this, and take notes because this is how it's done. But later in the match that theme of too many two counts came into play. Why people think that's so great I have no idea.
In the end AEW isn't bad but not 'all that' either.. A step above Impact Wrestling but not worth all the hype and hoopla the internet marks have been putting out.
Dustin Rhodes Talks Differences Working A Match In AEW Than WWE
Over the span of a 30-year career, there have been a handful of matches that really stand out for Dustin Rhodes, f.k.a. Goldust. The latest is his brother vs. brother showdown with Cody at AEW's Double or Nothing.
Rhodes talked about the other matches in his career that are a cut above during an interview with Sports Illustrated.
"Here's the deal, by the end of 2015, there were three matches that were my tops. As soon as we did The Shield vs. The Brotherhood in 2013, that took the first spot," revealed Rhodes. "But before that, there was the War Games with Sting's Squadron vs. the Dangerous Alliance in 1992 and the WrestleMania XII match against Roddy Piper. That match was number one with me for a long time because it put me on the map as Goldust. It was before its time and it was legendary, the Hollywood Backlot Brawl, and it did a lot for me.
"It was one of the key moments that skyrocketed my career, but personally, this match with Cody has topped them all. I could quit happy now if I wanted to. There is nothing I could do to top what I did with Cody at Double or Nothing. Cody is a tremendous talent with an unbelievable mind, just like dad had, and he's quite the performer. He's quite the force to be reckoned with, and watching him and seeing the way he reminds me of dad, it's amazing. Along with Randy Orton, I always considered myself one of the smoothest workers in the business. But Cody is also so smooth. He can create magic, but you need a partner to dance with. I was his partner, and he was mine. We went to the dance, and we knocked their socks off. What a time to be a wrestling fan, to see that and go back in time and see how the old school way still gets people invested in their stories.
"There weren't 30 writers for this match, people who are just a bunch of 'yes men' scared to death of a man. There was a small group, and that's all you need to create a magical environment. That environment was such a difference from where I came from, and it was a pleasure to be around them. AEW is going to skyrocket, and they already have their fan base. I'm glad they're there."
Rhodes spent most of his career with WWE including six different stints, the last of which ended earlier this year. He has lots of knowledge of the promotion which could be useful for AEW and he was asked what specifically AEW can learn from WWE.
"Cody's been there and learned a lot over 10 years. Plus, the fact you have Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho and myself, we can show the young kids how it is to be on TV and how to do this on a television basis. That's a lot different than live events. There are cameras, it's live, there are commercial breaks, and you've got to learn the process. But they'll learn quickly," said Rhodes.
"I'm very excited to see them team up with Tony Khan. The less hands in the kitchen, the better it's going to be. If you keep this circle small, it's going to be great. I have nothing but positive thoughts for AEW and their future."
While WWE has gone great lengths to avoid acknowledging AEW's presence, it's clear that they are aware of their new competition. Rhodes was asked if people in WWE are paying closer attention to AEW than other wrestling promotions.
"Without a doubt. Double or Nothing, top to bottom, was a great show, and it put them on notice," stated Rhodes. "I really believe that my match with Cody made them say, 'They mean business.'
"They've been around a long time, and Vince knows how to run a business. That's what he's done forever. They're going to be around, they're not going anywhere. AEW, we have to focus on growing our own brand. This is a brand to be reckoned with, and I want everyone to know it."
JEFF HARDY ARRESTED.. WWE Statement On Arrest As Well
WWE star Jeff Hardy, 41, was arrested this morning in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for public intoxication and impairment.
Hardy was taken into custody near 1600 North Ocean Boulevard, which is the address of Ocean Enclave by Hilton Grand Vacation. Myrtle Beach PD has the arrest listed as taking place at 11:30 AM this morning.
Under South Carolina law, public disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor. It carries a fine of not more than $100 and a jail term of not more than 30 days.
Hardy is not currently in custody. He has already been released on $153.00 bond and is slated for a hearing on Monday 7/22.
Hardy has been out of action following a knee surgery earlier this year.
TMZ.com was the first to report the news of Hardy's arrest.
WWE issued the following statement in regard to Jeff Hardy's arrest this morning: "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions."
In regard to Hardy's arrest this morning, we are told by someone familiar with the Myrtle Beach Police department that the $153 Hardy paid is the fine for first time offenders in Myrtle Beach. Hardy won't be required to appear in court if he doesn't wish to contest the charge. The arrest won't hurt his ability to appear in South Carolina and locally, is seen as similar to a parking ticket and since he's paid the fine, that's likely the end of the situation unless Hardy wishes to argue the charge.

UPDATE 7-18-2024 :My Story Concerning Meltzer Not Seeing What I Saw On Brian Cage... Struck A Nerve, LOL
UPDATE 7-18-2024
Updated the link that referenced the story.
For those who may have missed it here's the story I posted earlier on Dave Meltzer missing the obvious on his own posting of his "Daily Report" today. https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2019/07/since-dave-meltzer-cant-see-obvious.html
I'll show the shots here as well. First here's the announcement from Defy Wrestling.
I'll show the shots here as well. First here's the announcement from Defy Wrestling.
And here's the shot from Meltzer's web page.
But you see there's more.. Not only is Cage 'not too injured' to Work a street fight match against Michael Elgin a week before the DEFY shows he cancelled out of.. He worked for BAR Wrestling last night and is working for them again, TONIGHT!! Since proof is a mother fucker and I always have the proof, here's proof.
So the 'injured' excuse from DEFY on why Cage isn't appearing is weak at most. Especially when Cage is working elsewhere last night, tonight and a week from the DEFY shows.
And now THIS.. Is where I struck a nerve. :)
Someone representing DEFY saw my story and trued to defend the 'injured announcement. But in the conversation gave me even more evidence that the announcement by DEFY was bullshit by telling me Cage was wrestling for BAR Wrestling. I mean how dumb was that? You try to defend the announcement yet give me more ammunition that validates what I wrote to begin with? What kind of idiot does that? Well... This idiot right here. Have a look.
And obviously what I wrote isn't as full of shit as this guy tried to claim because when I said to DEFY "I wonder what the fans who bought tickets will think knowing he's wrestling elsewhere,. but is ahem.. 'too injured' to wrestle for your company"?
THIS.. Was DEFY's response to that question.
Oh yeah, there's this last thing too. The clown that tried to defend the DEFT announcement but then gave me more to add to this story? Tried to slick and make a crack about how many 'followers' I have on Twitter (ASSuming that was my only platform. As you'll see, ever since I put him in his place. He's been silent.
Nothing like facts and proof to put a guy in check.
Too bad we'll never know what the real story is. But seeing as I got blocked by DEFY when I asked about how the fans who bought tickets would feel.. Obviously it appears by their action of blocking me, there's something they appear to be trying to hide.
