JBL Gets Fact Checked
Just like we here at WP&P had to fact check Dave Scherer at PWInsider ( https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2024/11/dave-scherer-pwinsider-gets-fact.html ) on Vince Russo, we now get to do the same thing to Mr. John Bradshaw Layfield.
This becomes WWAAYYY TOO EASY, especially when people refuse to do, or are just too fucking lazy to do any research and just spit things willy nilly out the side of their mouths.
In this video of Something To Wrestle With JBL claims Vince Russo isn't welcomed anywhere in the wrestling business. Which is about as good as when Dave Scherer claimed Russo wasn't in the wrestling business anymore.
But LO AND BEHOLD? What's this?
Why that can't be Vince Russo in that picture, can it? The VERY SAME Vince Russo that Scherer claimed wasn't in the wrestling business anymore? And after we here at Wrestling Past And Present completely fact checked him and called him out to do a mea culpa like he wanted Meltzer to do, but has yet to do it?
NNOO, that "can't POSSIBLY" be the same Vince Russo, can it?
Well, it is. Russo has been back working behind the scenes for Rocky Mountain pro for a while now. We here at Wrestling Past And Present knew this because we, post the Rocky Mountain Pro shows every week, like clock work. PLUS, WWEEEE here at WP&P were the OONBNLLY wrestling news site that covered Russo's announcement that he was returning to Rocky Mountain Pro, back in May.
So yes, Mr. JBL himself has been undisputedly, 'checked'.
How much you wanna bet he won't even both to admit he got 'checked', let alone admit he got it wrong?
You can thank us here at WP&P for always being the ones, who have the guts and balls to set people straight when it comes to their bullshit.
You're welcome, always a pleasure (smiles).

Drew McIntyre has some words for Solo Sikoa before Jimmy Uso interrupts.
How Can A Promo Be "Unearthed" if it's already Been On YouTube For over SEVEN YEARS?
Special "thanks" to Mike Johnson at PWInsider for 'helping' to make this story happen. (smiles). All credit 'goes" to him because if it wasn't for him, this story never would've come out. Make sure you give him a 'thumbs up" for his 'work' on this (smiles).
This was just so easy to spot, especially when some people, like us here at Wrestling Past And Present just have more knowledge than someone like Mike Johnson over at PWInsider.
I mean really, BEFORE he posted this story he actually COULD'VE DONE what his 'boss' Dave Scherer has harped on Dave Meltzer and others to do, which was take ninety seconds to do... What?
Some fucking research, that's what.. But I guess Mike Johnson is 'above' doing research, doing research must be something that's "beneath him".
A couple obvious questions here, how is it that Maple Leaf can claim to 'unearth' a promo when the promo has already been on YouTube for over SEVEN YEARS? And how is it that Mike Johnson decided NOT to do ANY research to see if it was true or not?
I knew right away that Johnson was full of shit when I seen this, I seen this promo listed on YouTube TWO WEEKS ago when I was searching for something else, so this comes down to Mike Johnson basically, just being too lazy to do any research.
Top notch 'reporting' there Mikey, 'five stars' all the way for you (gives sarcastic 'thumbs up").
So let me break this down for you. Here's where the story of this was posted today by Mike Johnson.
Scroll down on that and this si what you'll see, posted by Johnson.
But go to YouTube and do a simple search of "Roddy Piper vs Terry Funk Maple Leaf Wrestling", and lookie lookie at what comes up.
The exact SAME promo Johnson claim Maple Leaf Wrestling 'unearth", hahahahahahahaha.
Someone please contact Mike Johnson at PWInsider@gmasil.com and inform him that maybe he should introduce himself to this little thing called 'research'. Because obviously, research seem to be something of a challenge for him.
That makes TWO mea culpas Mikey needs to make this week. The first omne is because of this story where he again got caught for trying to claim something was so 'exclusive'' it was exclusively posted by many on YouTube. https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2024/12/somebody-please-remind-mike-johnson.html
And now the second one is this story.
He and Dave Scherer went on and on about how Meltzer should do mea culpas when he gets things wrong, but bbbooyy if Mike Johnson gets something wrong, and WWEEE here at WP&P point it out? He's suddenly in no hurry to do the very thing he and Scherer cried and bitched about wanting others doing the same thing.
HHMMM, imagine that.
