Goldust Interview- Says He's At The End of His Career

Goldust is currently celebrating his 30th year in pro wrestling and most of that time has been spent in WWE. He's currently in the midst of his sixth stint with WWE and he's aware that he's coming to the end of his career not only in WWE, but in wrestling altogether.

Goldust joined the Sports Guys Talking Wrestling podcast where he talked about his health and his uncertain future in the ring.

"I've wrestled just about everybody there is to wrestle, done just about every character reincarnation that I can come up with," Goldust stated. "What's next? I'm at the end of my careerhere and about to be 50 in April. What else is there to do? I don't know.

"My body's getting older, they're getting younger and faster. It takes a toll on an old man's body like myself or [Kane] or Mark Henry or 'Taker. You gotta do it a little bit less. You can't go balls to the wall like we used to."

Goldust mentioned his recent double knee surgery, noting that his body doesn't recover like it used to. That makes it harder to keep up with guys half his age but for the younger talent to truly separate themselves, they need to master the art of storytelling.

"I can still hang for a little bit with these kids," said Goldust. "But I've gotta give them credit as they're going out there for 30 minutes hard and fast and they can still tell stories. That's big for me, it's telling stories for people.

"Tell a story. You don't have to do a thousand things in two minutes when you can do one just as good and still tell that story with your face, or how you land, or your reaction. That's a lost art. Storytelling is a big part of our industry and if given time you can do it properly. If you're Roman Reigns, if you're Braun Strowman, you're getting a weekly deal to tell that story and then it starts to work and you start feeling it."

Twitter Tough guy Bitches Up.(They Always Do :) ) (Updated)

In my earlier post about me putting idiots on Twitter in their place, we had one guy, on there that just wasn't smart enough to quit when he kept getting his ass handed to him. So he tried to up the ante and I said (and you'll see this in my shots i'm including here) "I hand you my address you'll hand me excuses". And guess what, lo and behold just like every other internet Rambo and wannabe internet tough guy? I gave him my address and as predictable as a rerun? The excuses came. Imagine that. All this cause I had the balls to post a story on Cody Rhodes that I knew would infuriate his fans. Truth always hurts when I tell it.

If you know you have no balls to leave your house, don't try to be an online tough guy because guys like me will bust out guys like this above, for the bitches they are, every time.

Here's some more from this guy, I show him proof that I gave him my addy and what doe she do? The same thing every wannabe internet tough guy does, scrapes up the ever typical "Pay for a ticket' copout when they know they have to back down.. The most ever used copout is the 'pay for a plane ticket' excuse, so many internet wimps use thyat over the years it's pathetic. No matter how many keyboard warriors I confront, they always, each and every one of them, always use the same copout excuses when they bitch up.

And wouldn't you know? After I told him I was getting this for this story, I got 'restricted' on Twitter. So that means Mikey here snitched on me, LOL. Nothing worse than a bitch who's a snitch, LMAO!

Cody Rhodes Taken To School On Twitter.

Updated... I added a pic of CHWF officially saying that it was the NWA's (Corgan) decision, not theirs. So Now we know where the blame really lies, eh?

Someone I know took it to Twitter and it got Cody's attention which I updated it with this link here.

I've added some screenshots as proof of this, and as you can see Cody really doesn't look so good in these Twitter exchanges with me or the guy who called him out on the original story of the meet and greet. I can actually add one where Cody said something about followers on Twitter and I countered with a screenshot showing him that I don't need followers when I can post a link to my blog and get viewers (Something Cody conveniently dodged when he realized he was put in check).

Cody in one of his Twitter replies claimed he can do what he wants with the NWA World title. Reality is, he can't and most people know it but the guy I know called him out on those words and you can see how Cody quickly tries to walk back from those words, and doesn't really do a good job at it either.

I could also grab another shot of where Cody claims this isn't a story but.. The shot I've included here of views of my most popular stories today shows that one of the stories I posted on all this, 325 people just today clicked on it and viewed it. SSSOO. It's NOT a story because Cody says so? LOL. 325 people pretty much proved him wrong, and that's just today mind you.

Earlier in this long Twitter exchange he advised someone to 'mute' what Gino Bradley says.. Maybe after all this Cody should've taken his own advice because clearly he's been taken to school here, even if his ego and attempts at no selling that fact can't cover that fact convincingly.

I just added a shot which is a reply someone asked an owner of ECWA on this story. SSSOO, it looks like i was correct, and Al Snow was wrong. I was correct in saying "Bullshit". Sorry, not sorry. :)

Al Snow said that quote and guess what, he's full of shit. WWE sure blows that statement all to hell. Ring Of Honor? Same thing. ECWA in Delaware has run longer, and I'm sure I can come up with acouple more examples. Al should really think before he makes claims that stick his foot square in his mouth.

OVW sent us word that they have merged with Top Knotch Boxing under Gladiator Sports Network (GSN). Each company will continue to focus on its respective sports, while GSN oversees overall growth initiatives. Al Snow is president and CEO of GSN. Indy Show In Germany Draws Only 70 Fans? Someone Needs Lessons In "promoting" A Show.

Boy did somebody do a real shitty job 'promoting' this show, LMAO! And yes, I can and HAVE done better locally promoting shows so there's your answer before you can ask the question.

Juventud Guerrera and 2 Cold Scorpio were in Germany last week for the German Hurricane Wrestling in Gernsheim, Germany. The show only drew 70 fans.

CWL In Detroit Needs A Better Marketing Strategy Than This Lame Shit.

The new CWL promotion in Detroit which starts on weekly local TV on 9/29 seems to be having trouble selling tickets. Earlier this week they offered to anyone that buys four tickets a chance to get your picture taken in the ring at a show with a referee and a replica belt. Earlier they were giving away a free CWL T-shirt with the purchase of two tickets.

'GEE', just what I always wanted, a picture with a referee and a 'replica' belt, woo hoo, let me just 'rush right out' and get four tickets.. NOT!

Billy Ray wins an Indy Wrestling Title.

WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley recently won the PPW World Heavyweight Title. Ray defeated former champion Evander James at Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling's 5th anniversary show in Hazelton, PA over the weekend. The No DQ match featured ECW Original Mikey Whipwreck as the special referee. James had just won the title earlier in the night by cashing in his Golden Briefcase on Sean Carr, right after Carr won the title in a six-man Scramble. Empty Seats At WWE'S 205 Taping.

Below is a shot at the crowd for Tuesday's WWE 205 Live tapings in Tulsa. WWE is taping 205 Live before SmackDown until Mixed Match Challenge season 2 ends. It will be interesting to see how they edit the tapings for tonight's broadcast on the WWE Network as there were many empty seats for the tapings. The matches started at around 6:15pm local time but the show was advertised to begin at 6:30pm local time.

Madison Rayne Signs Contract With Ring Of Honor

After making appearances for Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, WWE, and wrestling at All In this summer, Madison Rayne has signed a one-year contract with ROH.

Rayne appeared on The Taz Show today to make the announcement. She returned to ROH last November and most recently wrestled for the promotion at their television tapings in July, where she unsuccessfully challenged for Sumie Sakai's Women of Honor Championship. Rayne also challenged for the Knockouts title at Impact's Slammiversary XVI pay-per-view in July, losing to then-champion Su Yung and being put in a coffin by Yung in a post-match angle.

While going by the name "Ashley Rayne," Rayne made her WWE debut as one of the 32 participants in this year's Mae Young Classic. She was eliminated by Mercedes Martinez in the first round.

Rayne took part in a four-way match with Tessa Blanchard, Britt Baker, and Chelsea Green at All In.

During her appearance on The Taz Show, Rayne said 2018 has been possibly her biggest year in professional wrestling and called it very unexpected.

Major League Wrestling announced they will be resurrecting the old "Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal" stipulation match game of chance at their 10/4 return to NYC at the Melrose Ballroom.   The official press release reads:

I decided to look and see what are the most popular stores on my blog and it's an interesting result. So thanks to people on Twitter spreading the word about this blog I've gotten a TON of new viewers who look at this on a daily basis. So thank you and keep on plugging. Nice to know the stories where I call the bullshit on certain things, that other wrestling news sites don't have the balls to do, are what'sd popular here. The message that sends is I'm doing just fine with this approach so since it's not broke, I won't try to fix it. :)

TAMMY SYTCH TO BE PAROLED

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch is slated to be paroled from the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania where she has been held since late March in the first week of October. Sytch will have been incarcerated there about seven months by that time after having been extradited from the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in New Jersey to Carbon County on 3/28.  Sytch had been held in New Jersey since being arrested several weeks before after failing to appear in court for two DUI arrests in New Jersey earlier this year.

The man formerly known Mahabali Shera is reportedly no longer under WWE contract.

It was reported today that Amanpreet Singh Randhawa has been released from WWE. There were no further details regarding when or why the release happened.

Randhawa, 27, signed with WWE back in February. He mostly competed on Florida house shows, usually losing to more established talent. After a period of sporadic appearances, he had started to wrestle more in the last month, with his final match being a loss to Brennan Williams back on September 6.

Originally starting his career in 2011 as part of Impact’s King Ka King project in India, Randhawa is most well known from his run in the company from 2014-2017 as Mahabali Shera. Although he never made it past the midcard, an attempt was made to get him over as a viral sensation by having him innovate a dance move called the Shera Shake, but it never really took off.

WWE AND IMPACT OFFICIALS MEET AT WWE HQ (No, This Isn't A Typo)

Impact Wrestling officials Ed Nordholm and Scott D'Amore met with several high ranking WWE executives last week at WWE HQ in Stamford, CT,several sources has confirmed. with several  Vince McMahon was not involved in the meeting we are told, but members of Triple H's team were in attendance.

The meeting between the two companies took place in the middle of last week, after Impact officials had returned from Manchester, Great Britain and right before they headed down to Mexico City for a pair of Impact Wrestling tapings.

One WWE source described the meeting as a general discussion about the two companies and as a chance to get everyone in the same room as opposed to a a specific negotiation.  Since Impact was purchased by Anthem Media, WWE has worked with the company on several occasions, paying to license material from the TNA/Impact Wrestling video library for usage on the WWE Network, most notably the Hardy Boyz "Broken Universe" material and AJ Styles-related content.

When contacted today by various wrestling news sites, Impact officials declined to comment on the nature of the meetings.  One Impact source specifically stressed that the meetings were not regarding the sale of either Impact Wrestling as a company or it's video library, stating neither are for sale.

Speaking of last week's Mexico City tapings (which will start airing this Thursday on Pop), they were pointed to by several wrestlers as a sign of how the Impact Wrestling locker room has really started to congeal as a unit.  Impact covered all travel and expenses for talents working the tapings, including meals, transit on the ground and hotels.  We were told that even talents who's deals require the company to provide them their own hotel room willingly offered to share a room with other talents in order to help Impact keep the costs affordable and the entire trip turned into something of a big bonding experience for the locker room overall.  While the Bound for Glory PPV in October has sold out the Melrose Ballroom in Long Island City, Queens, there are still tickets available for the subsequent TV tapings on Monday 10/15 and Tuesday 10/16. Impact Wrestling will be taping TV in Las Vegas this November,

They weren't using him right anyway- Former Impact Wrestling Tag Champion Granted His Release

Andrew Everett announced on Twitter this evening that he was granted his release from ImpactWrestling. The former Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champion made his debut for the company at Bound For Glory in 2015.

"Earlier today I was granted my release from IMPACT wrestling," Everett tweeted. "I had great times with the company, and I'm grateful for the opportunities that I received while under contract. At this moment, I feel that I need to test the waters in free agency allowing myself find a new direction in my craft. It's exciting to see what awaits me in my career.

"Thank you for all your support, and again, thank you IMPACT Wrestling for bringing the Skywalker to a larger audience."

Cody Says he Can Defend The NWA World Title On RAW? BULL-SHIT! (Updated)

Yeah right Cody, I call bullshit because there's no way McMahon will allow the NWA World title to be defended on any WWE tv show now, nice try though.

Cody appeared as NWA champion yesterday at the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood TV tapings in Port Hueneme, CA. Cody did a promo saying the rules of the NWA allow him to defend the title anywhere, and he said that means he can defend it in ROH (which he will do on the 9/29 TV tapings) and that he could defend it on Raw after he becomes a free agent at the end of this year.
