Former Impact Wrestling star Chris Harris, 46, was arrested on Tuesday 10/5 in Kenton County, Kentucky and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol as well as failure to produce an insurance card.
Kenton County records show that Harris was pulled over in Ludlow, KY, by the Ludlow Police Department. He blew over the legal limit of 0.8 BAC (blood alcohol content), making him legally impaired.
Harris was booked into jail on 10/5 at 10:05 PM and was released the morning of 10/6 at 11:28 AM on $2500 bond.
Harris has a court date on 11/2 at 9 AM.
Harris, who last wrestled in 2018, appeared on Impact Wrestling this past March as part of a story built around James Storm's 1000th match.
Bret Hart was inducted to Canada’s Walk of Fame on Wednesday night.
The Hitman made history by becoming the first pro wrestler to be inducted into the Walk of Fame. There have been petitions going around for years with fans trying to make the induction happen.
Hart announced the induction via Instagram on Wednesday and wrote, “I’m finally able to announce how excited and honoured I am to be an inductee into Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto. I know many people for years have pushed hard for this, and I thank all of you for your support. What makes this honour especially sweet is that I will be the first professional wrestler to be inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame, and I hope this will open the door for other great Canadian wrestlers who have proudly represented their country to be recognized and honoured as well. Hart was inducted along with Keanu Reeves, Damian Warner, Ajay Virmani, Serena Ryder, Romeo Dallaire, Graham Greene, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Salome Bey, Jully Black, Bruce Cockburn, and the group of scientists who discovered insulin, Banting, Best, Macleod and Collip.
The 2021 Canada Walk of Fame induction ceremony will air December 4 on CTV in Canada.
WOW, Women of Wrestling, has signed a deal with ViacomCBS to bring new episodes of the series to CBS affiliates this Fall.
Older WOW content will be available on Pluto TV and the CW Seed app this December.

April Mendez aka the former AJ Lee will be working with WOW, Women of Wrestling, as an executive producer, it was announced this evening.
This would be Mendez's first work in the professional wrestling world since retiring as an in-ring competitor from WWE in April 2015.

Ahead of their match on this week's edition of NWA Powerrr, Kylie Rae and Lady Frost speak with May Valentine; that is until they're interrupted by the Hex, most notably Allysin Kay, who demands answers after Lady Frost made herself involved in AK's match last week.
Killer Kelly is stepping away from pro wrestling for the rest of the year in order to take care of her health.
In a statement posted on social media this afternoon, Kelly said that she has had problems breathing during her matches and will be taking time off to fix her nose and breathing problems.
“Since coming back to wrestling, I’ve noticed that something is off,” she wrote. “I tried my best to hide it, mainly because I wasn’t understanding what was happening. And because I wanted to keep on wrestling. Thankfully, none of you picked [up] on it. And only my opponents knew what was happening.”
“I’ve been having a lot of trouble breathing to the point that I couldn’t take a breath,” she added. “And no, this isn’t COVID related because I’ve never had it/don’t have it. It’s “just” me being not capable of breathing. So with that said I’ve pulled away from all my wrestling commitments for the year and I’m going to take some time away to fix my nose and my breathing. I didn’t want to do this but health should come first.”
After spending most of 2021 inactive, Kelly returned in September, wrestling for Black Label Pro and Beyond Wrestling.
MLW Head Court Bauer took part in a media call to promote tomorrow's Fightland Vice TV broadcast.
Bauer thanked everyone for covering the event and thanked everyone for all the coverage since they restarted MLW four years ago in Orlando. They are excited to have a moment during the very exciting time professional wrestling is having.
Bauer was asked about the potential of a live, weekly MLW series. They have a lot of things on the board right now but they are focusing on the special. They are looking at different ways to present wrestling. They are going to tap into news and do news segments.
Bauer was asked about Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman being free agents. Bauer said he's had conversations with Bray's brother but he seemed to be more interested in farming right now. They have spoken with Braun but didn't come to terms. That doesn't mean they won't come to terms down the line. It's a delicate thing to balance whether a talent makes sense for their audience. 90% of their talent are signed but the other 10% are free agents who can come in and out and try things out.
Bauer was asked about WWE passing on Jacob Fatu and Alexander Hammerstone, leaving the door for MLW to lock them in. Bauer said sometimes you are shocked by it but having been in WWE, sometimes WWE doesn't see things culturally or from a talent perspective. He used CM Punk as an example as someone WWE wasn't immediately high on signing. He said WWE passed on Fatu due to past issues but they had also signed MVP in the past so it doesn't make sense to pass on someone who can be an asset. He signed Fatu and Hammerstone to new deals during the pandemic. He wants the talent to grow when the company grows.
Court was asked the women's division and how frequently will fans see that division. Bauer said his plan is to one day, have the women have their own dedicated league and not have to share any time with the men. They are starting with a featherweight division and they want to expand from there.
Bauer was asked about the Azteca Underground integration. They don't want to superserve it today and not have it ready for the future. He's got an affinity for lucha having working for AAA and as a consultant for Lucha Underground it. They are just rolling it out.
Bauer was asked about Philadelphia as a potential home base given the COVID-19 landscape and why he chose the 2300 Arena. They were looking at where they could have the health of talent, fans and crew safe with the right guidelines and enforcement. They looked at the 2300 Arena, where he ran his first show at 22 and what he liked was their own COVID compliance office and health guidelines. Philly was the last major Northeast city to open up and they were very strict plus they have a tough Athletic Commission. They will be at the Arena regularly except in December as the venue had so many make-good dates there wasn't a date for MLW. They intend it to be their home and for fans to even be able to stop by there to buy shirts there even MLW isn't running.
Bauer was asked about running Mexico before the pandemic. He was directing the show remotely as he couldn't travel as they were negotiating with DAZN. They thought at the time maybe they'd be doing 4-6 weeks, then 12 weeks and then the world changed. They hope to do something internationally in a Latin American country in December but it all depends on COVID and wait until its just before to make the call. If not, then next year, for sure, because strategically, he has to battle two billionaires so he has to be creative and this is a way to do that, plus he's familiar with that market. They want to keep building out their Spanish Language content over the next year. They are talking to international promotions about having title bouts in MLW. Building relationships can be complicated and risky, because you can't always control the "creative fort" 100% of how talents are used elsewhere. Working with each company is different.
The plan down the line is to give the women their own show but you need a media rights deal to underwrite that and make it work so they can have 100% representation on their own show.
When asked about younger talent to keep an eye on, Bauer praised Alex Kane, Aramis, Myron Reed and Arez. They have lots of new talent popping up on Fusion: Alpha, like Calvin Tankman.
Bauer was asked what he's learned from when he first started the earliest era of MLW. He said he couldn't really book yet as he hadn't honed his interested. Gary Albright, Steve Williams, Afa mentored him. Terry Funk and Gary Hart would help teach him. He learned a lot from Gary. Sometimes people in wrestling bust your balls when you ask questions but Gary allowed him to ask questions for hours on end. He was lost before Gary and Funk. They taught him so much and helped him learn. Every experience, good and bad, helps you take the experience and bring the knowledge weaned from it forward. Even if something doesn't go well, you can use it going forward.
Court was asked to compared Fightland to the original event he promoted. Bauer said the hype is similar and its the biggest match they've ever promoted. Wrestling is about hype and then the collision course. There will be a big collision in the main event of Fightland.
Bauer said he wouldn't trade the journey of the company at all. The plan for this match was laid out in February 2020 but they had to wait until it was right ti unpause production from the pandemic.
Bauer was asked about MLW on the West Coast. They were supposed to do LA in the mid-late 2020 and now it's all dependent on each State and the pandemic.
Alexander Hammerstone fought through a badly sprained ankle suffered early in the bout with Fatu but worked through the match. Nicole Savoy need a few weeks for her sternum injury and she'll be fine. TJP tweaked his knee and it doesn't look to be series. Court joked he also tweaked his knee running around. He said Alexander Hammerstone's girlfriend greeting him on stage after the show went off the air was one of the most emotional moments ever in wrestling.
In terms of hope for the viewership for tomorrow's special, if they can reatain 40-50% of the audience from Dark Side of the Ring, he'd be happy.

former WCW World Champion David Arquette has literally joined the circus, and he's bringing classic television character Bozo the Clown with him.
After a pretty much failed attempt to return to Pro Wrestling that included him being in a garbage wrestling death match, Arquette is launching Empire Circus, a new, interactive choose your own adventure experience in Brooklyn, NY this November. The adventure, which will play out over five floors and outside of Empire Stores will ask guests to choose between being a crew member at the circus, a Grand Prize Game Show contestant or an aerialist as they go through an experience that promises to take "the circus out of the ring and lets you control your experience. Choose your entry time, go at your own pace, play and interact as you please. This 100% interactive experience puts you in the center of the circus with roaming performers and pop-up circus acts all throughout the day."
Beloved children's television show character Bozo the Clown will be part of the experience as Arquette acquired the rights to the character after the passing of the legendary Larry B. Harmon, who shepherded and maintained the rights to Bozo from 1956 until his passing in 2008.

So going from pro Wrestling to literally the circus is David pretty much going from one kind of 'circus' to another. And since David was widely known by many wrestling fans as a 'clown' of professional wrestling, joining the circus seems pretty logical. :)
Nobody really wants to see Arquette back in a wrestling ring anyway, he puts no asses in seats so maybe he'll do better at putting asses in seats in THIS kind of circus.

One of the big feuds in Varoussac Promotions in 1983 centered around the International Heavyweight Title, held by Billy Robinson. His #1 challenger at the time was Dino Bravo, who had been cheated out of several opportunities to win the title by Robinson leaving the ring for intentional count-outs. Thus, it was decided for the next title bout that if Robinson were to leave the ring 5 times, he would be stripped of the title and it would be awarded to Bravo. In this interview, Lord Alfred Hayes (who was outstanding as a heel manager and on the microphone) and Robinson protest this stipulation. George Cannon handles this one.
After a year and a half as a free agent and much speculation on her future, Fightful Select reports that Blanchard is scheduled to work for a planned relaunch of the “WOW: Women of Wrestling” promotion.
A press conference to announce the WOW return is scheduled for Wednesday night. Word is that a roster is not in place yet, and the relaunch won’t occur imminently, but it is in the works.
There’s no word on if Tessa has actually signed a contract yet, but she is set to be involved with the project.
Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss is attached to the WOW project as she technically still owns the promotion. Several former WOW talents have not heard of the relaunch, and have not been contacted to be a part of the roster. Some former WOW talents have not heard from WOW creator David McLane since last year when they were e-mailed and asked to not post in regards to controversies of bullying allegations surrounding Blanchard.
The WOW relaunch itself has been known among some within women’s wrestling circles for a few months now as several names have been contacted to work the project, but none ended up agreeing to be a part of the roster outside of Blanchard.
Tessa had been WOW World Champion from the February 15, 2019 episode until dropping the title to The Beast on the November 23, 2019 episode. It was announced last summer that WOW and AXS TV had parted ways.
Blanchard has been away from pro wrestling for the most part since finishing up with Impact Wrestling last year, leaving the promotion as World Champion as her contract was terminated days before it was set to expire. She became a free agent more than 18 months ago. It was reported in December that she was still celebrating her marriage to Daga, and had not decided on her future in the business. It was then rumored earlier this year that Tessa and Daga were in talks with AEW or headed to AEW, but nothing ever came of it. Tessa also had talks with the NWA at one point in the last year, but nothing came of those discussions.
Tessa has not wrestled since dropping the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title to Kylie Rae in September 2020.

In an appearance on Busted Open Radio, former WWE NXT star Bobby Fish talked about participating in MLW’s Opera Cup. Fish defeated Lee Moriarty in the first round, and he’s thrilled to be part of the tournament.
“It’s friggin awesome,” Fish said. “I specifically wanted to do the Opera Cup. The level of talent in it is amazing, and it caters very much to a style that I’m very familiar with. I’m just looking forward to mixing it up with everybody in MLW and in the Opera Cup. I’m not looking past anything but Saturday at this point.”
While Fish didn’t directly comment on his August release from WWE, he did admit that he was in need of a change of scenery following his four years on the NXT brand. He believes he’s already gotten his next run kickstarted, and his appearance in the Opera Cup will help to build off that momentum.
“I feel like I was ready in my career for a fresh coat of paint, so to speak,” Fish said. “And here we are. It wasn’t orchestrated and I didn’t seek it out. Some things fell into place and it just happened, and I have this kind of new lease on my wrestling life. And I can’t wait to go at this thing guns blazing, and Saturday [was] the start of that. I feel I’ve kind of already got that ball rolling, but we’re ready to keep it rolling and kind of accelerate everything.”
Fish is going to be busy separate from the Opera Cup, as he’ll battle Sammy Guevara next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite for Guevara’s newly won TNT Championship. Between that and his MLW appearances, Fish agreed with host Dave LaGreca that it was the perfect time to hit the open market.
“I couldn’t agree more,” Fish said. “I was a little out of touch with what was this atmosphere, because I’ve been where I was for about four years and you kind of lose touch with some of this. So to get reacquainted with this and to realize the amount of opportunity. Man, it is as exciting as all hell.”

When he announced back in June that he was 'retiring' (for the second time, mind you) Right away I said "Bullshit, he's absolutely full, of bullshit". And wouldn't you know, he's exactly what I said he was, full.. of bullshit.
You can thank me now for calling that one, as I knew just like the first time, he was lying. He lied the first time, as well as this last time and the NEXT TIME he announces he's retiring', who's really gonna believe him?
I mean, look, here's the proof he lied, right here.
He also said on his Instagram that he was retiring because he wanted to be a better father and a better husband. But then claimed even though he was "cough cough" retired, he was just going to fulfill his NJPW obligations..
"Obligations' that stretched from June to October? YYEEAAHH Ok Lio The Liar, 'anything' you say (rolls eyes).
So NOW ,the 'retired' Lio who obviously has fulfilled his NJPW dates, and then some is proving he was lying about this alleged 'retirement' by now being added to a Garbage Wrestling show (as you saw in the above pic) as well as returning to AEW.
Fresh off the announcement of his return to AEW, Lio Rush will make his return to GCW as well.
Rush has been added to this Saturday's Fight Club show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, headlined by GCW Champion Jon Moxley vs. Nick Gage, Effy vs. Matt Cardona, Alex Zayne vs. Ninja Mack, a Mick Foley appearance, and more.
Rush's opponent has yet to be named. His last GCW appearance was the May 15th Draft Day show in a win over Starboy Charlie.
Rush appeared on AEW Dynamite last Wednesday in a promo as he is back with the promotion (and I'm sure many many people laughed, just like I did).
So the NEXT time Lio starts whining an d crying and claiming to be 'retiring'? You can just say the same thing I did the last two times he made this claim.
Bullshit, because you damn well, I'll call it to be bullshit again, and again.. Lio will prove me right.
