Chelsea Green Discusses The Negativity On Social Media, How It “Ruins Entire Careers”
In an appearance on Busted Open Radio with fiancée Matt Cardona, wrestler Chelsea Green talked about her recent appearance in GCW, where she helped Cardona win back the Internet Championship. Green is approaching her GCW run with the same attitude she had when she worked for Impact and Lucha Underground prior to signing with WWE.
“I feel like I’ve always had that attitude,” Green said. “I definitely lost that kind of passion and the confidence for a couple of years when I was signed. But before that, this is exactly the same thing I was doing before. I was trying to make moments for myself, and those moments translate over to social media and to the dirtsheets. And then the fans think you’re a star when you might not have done anything. I did nothing as the Impact Knockout’s Champion. I did diddly f*****g squat. But people were always talking about the moments I had as the Hot Mess.
“And then I went to Lucha Underground, and I did two weeks there. I did a total of four days, and people still talk about the match I had with Pentagon. It doesn’t matter if you do ten years or two days, you just have to make a moment of that time that you have in the ring.”
Green also talked about the negativity that social media occasionally brings and how to combat against it. For her, it’s taking time to think before responding to someone, as the wrong response could have ramifications for one’s career. She also compared how she handles social media to how Cardona does.
“I already know Matt is going to say he doesn’t care,” Green said. “And I get that. I never thought I was sensitive. But in this weird world, yes, you do have to think for just a split second ‘is this going to ruin my entire career?’ Because we’ve seen that. In 2020 we saw. People lost not only their jobs, they lost their partner, they lost their homes, they lost any opportunity to be in the entertainment industry. And that’s real. That’s not just fake f*****g Twitter world. That’s real life. Perception is reality on Twitter, so you have to be social careful. Do what you want to do, but I feel you just have to give it that extra thought in 2021. ‘Will this ruin my whole f*****g life?’
“We are humans and so of course, when we see that one negative comment, that’s going to get to us. It’s just a matter of how you respond. Do you respond? Well he (Cardona) f*****g responds! I try not to respond but he’ll always respond!”
Green was asked how often she has to restrain herself on social media. She responded by saying every single day, and gave an example of refraining from tweeting at an NXT star earlier in the day.
“Every day,” Green said. “If not, ten times today. It’s 11:11 and I have already deleted one Tweet to an NXT star today. Let me just say that. It’s already been erased. That’s one thing that Matt has taught me. You can’t be a tweeter and deleter. You’ve got to keep it up.”
“It lives forever. If you tweeted it, keep it up,” Cardona chimed it. “It’s there. It’s worse if you delete it. If it’s out there, just keep it. Once you delete it’s the news and ‘oh my god, they deleted this tweet.'”
Eric Bischoff: "I'd Tell Tony Khan To 'Shut Up And Wrestle' "
AEW President Tony Khan has recently stepped up the trash talk against WWE, saying he has “more money” to air commercial-free programming, and even commented he thought last Monday’s WWE RAW, “sucked.”
On his 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, Bischoff commented on what advice he’d give to Tony Khan, which is to focus on his own brand.
“If Tony [Khan] were to call me and ask for any advice, here’s what it would be — shut up and wrestle, dude” Bischoff said. “Just put out the best product you can and you’ve proven you can. Focus on that. Now this is weird coming from me, right? The guy who challenged Vince McMahon. The guy who gave away their finishes. But here’s the difference. I was actually competing with him. I was going head-to-head. Real head-to-head. Like, my show started the same time his show started each and every week.”
Khan also said earlier this month — along with the help of hindsight — he’s “trying not to make the same mistakes WCW made head-to-head.” Bischoff addressed that comment, as well, and felt that until AEW was actually competing every single week, Khan (and other AEW stars saying the same) should “shut the f*** up.”
“And another thing, Tony comes out and says ‘We’re at the 1996 stage of WCW and going to not make their mistakes.’ Tony, you’re inventing some mistakes, brother,” Bischoff stated. “By coming out there and constantly comparing yourself or deriding your competition, but not having the willingness — I almost said balls — the willingness to say, ‘Okay, let’s go head-to-head. Let’s really compete. Let’s see who can get whose market share.’ That’s real competition. So, I’m a little disappointed in the rhetoric that I’m hearing out of Tony, as well as some of the talent. Man, shut the f*** up. Until you’re actually competing and you’re actually competing favorably — and by the way, Tony, in 1996 I was kicking WWE’s ass. Every week! In a real head-to-head competition, not a cosplay competition.”

One half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Rhea Ripley, took to Twitter earlier today hoping to spread the word that her luggage has gone missing. Among the lost items is the Women’s Tag Team Title belt that Rhea travels with for press and appearances.

Buddy Murphy To Make NJPW Debut In November
Former WWE Star Buddy Murphy (Buddy Matthews) is set to make his NJPW debut in November.
As you can see from the screenshots from Saturday’s NJPW STRONG Showdown taping in Philadelphia, Matthews will be making his debut during the “Battle In the Valley” event in San Jose, California on November 13.
Matthews was released from his WWE contract on June 2, 2021. He had been with the company since signing in March 2013. After a lengthy run in NXT, Matthews joined the 205 Live brand when it was part of WWE's main roster in 2018.
Matthews had a run on SmackDown in 2019, but had his most high-profile run after joining Raw in the 2019 WWE Draft. With Paul Heyman as Executive Director of Raw, Matthews and Aleister Black had a series of matches late in the year and in early 2020 that served to elevate both.
Matthews aligned with Seth Rollins and feuded with Black and the Mysterio family in 2020. Matthews later turned face and began a storyline romance with Mysterio's daughter Aalyah. The romance storyline was later abruptly dropped.
Matthews would make only a couple of more WWE appearances after the Mysterio story was discontinued. His appearance in the 2021 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 9, 2021 edition of SmackDown would be his last in WWE.
The NJPW appearance will be the most high-profile for Matthews since leaving WWE, though he wrestled a pair of independent matches in September following his non-compete expiring. An indie match against Black for Battleground Championship Wrestling on December 18 in Philadelphia has also been announced. .
And now he can be the latest wrestler to leave the "WWE Universe" and get achieve greater success than the WWE was capable of giving him.
Nothing like proving the WWE wrong, though the last few years it hasn't really been that hard to do, knowing how 'creatively challenged' their creative is.

WARRANT RESCINDED FOR ARREST OF FORMER TNA STAR RHAKA KHAN
Court records indicate that the bench warrant issued former WWE developmental and Impact Wrestling star Trenesha Daniyall Biggers aka Rhaka Khan last month in advance of the scheduled start of her trial before the 409th District Court in El Paso, Texas has been rescinded. Records indicate that Biggers posted a Personal Recognizance Bond on 10/15, the same day the warrant was rescinded. Biggers had been issued a DCLK Warrant aka a bench warrant, which can be issued by a judge or court, usually when a defendant fails to appear at a scheduled court hearing.
Biggers is facing charges of interference with child custody and "aggravated kidnapping facilitate."
The trial has been pushed back six times due to the slowdown in the court system brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently there is a status conference on the case scheduled for 10/22 followed by a Judge's conference on 11/8.
Biggers was indicted on the charges in August 2019, leading to her being listed as one of El Paso’s most wanted fugitives after failing to appear in court. There are two court instances where her no-shows led to her bail being revoked. She was finally arraigned in December 2019. Biggers is being represented by a public defender.
In the State of Texas, interference with child custody is when someone "takes or retains a child when that person knows that the taking or detention of the child violates a judgment or order." It is considered a state jail felony and can be punishable by up to two years in prison.
Biggers last wrestled in 2011 for the now-defunct Lucha Libre USA promotion, which aired on MTV. Biggers was part of the 2005 WWE Diva Search and was signed to a developemental contract after failing to make it past the top 25 contestants in the search. She was sent to Deep South Wrestling but was released in May 2006. She worked for a number of independent promotions and in Japan before signing with Impact Wrestling in 2008, departing that promotion in 2009. She worked for Lucha Libre USA in 2010 and 2011.

Bully Ray Gets Smacked As Rene Dupree Responds To Bully Ray’s Comments About Slapping Sylvain Grenier In WWE (Updated- 7:45 PM)

On the October 5 episode of Busted Open Radio, co-hosts Bully Ray and Mark Henry drew a mixed reaction when discussing the culture of bullying during their heyday back in the 2000’s. In particular, Bully’s drew the ire of fans when he discussed an incident involving him and former WWE wrestler Sylvain Grenier following a match they had. Bully said he slapped Grenier after he complained about how rough he was in the ring, noting that he was green and not used to it.
On the eighth episode of his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE star and Grenier’s partner in La Resistance, Rene Dupree, responded to Bully’s comments. Never one to shy away on an opinion, Dupree did not hold back in his critique of the two time Hall of Famer, comparing Bully to a South Park character while mocking his weight.
“Blubber Ray Dudley is the real live version of Eric Cartman,” Dupree said. “If he doesn’t get his way, he b*****s and moans and whines like a child. He said that La Resistance was the s***s and they were green. The Dudley Boys had one set match routine that they did over and over and over again, right? It wasn’t your standard psychology, it was smoke and mirrors. It was working for pops, as we say. They had some Gaga, and the exclamation point was what? ‘D-Von get the tables! Same old s**t, that’s why they were there for five years. Understand. Yeah, you couldn’t tell Blubber.
"If you were to say ‘Mark [LoMonaco, Bully’s real name], 20 minutes, this guy over a sunset flip,’ he wouldn’t know whether the wind his ass or scratch his watch. He does not know how to do that. I can do that. My first five or 600 matches in the arenas we had separate locker rooms, working for my dad, that’s the way I learned understand1. The problem with Mark is that he’s just that; he’s a mark. He’s a mark for himself. His ego cost him more opportunities than anything. And he knows it. And what he did the Sly (Sylvain Grenier), he punched him in the mouth and bloodied his nose. And then when Sly calmly said ‘hey man, come on. Take it easy’, he slapped him across the face. That was his nail in his coffin. You know why? Because Sly was Pat Patterson’s boy. That’s all I have to say about that.”
Bully Ray has yet to publicly respond to Dupree’s comments.
Of course he hasn't, and if he knows what's good for him, he won 't say a fucking word and accept the fact Rene verbally, punked his ass right out.

In an update, Warner’s MLW contract will reportedly expire at the end of January 2022, according to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam. There is said to be no non-compete clause as the deal is expiring, which means Warner will be free to sign with any promotion.
