Eric Bischoff Punks Tony Khan, Again (Maybe Tony Should Just Stay Silent At This Point)

AEW President Tony Khan recently spoke to The Financial Times and noted that AEW is taking examples of "what not to do" from WCW. Former WCW President Eric Bischoff responded to Khan's comments shortly after, and again this week he took time on his own podcast, 83 Weeks, to talk about the positive impact WCW and Monday Nitro have had on the wrestling industry.

"At this point in 2020, I think Nitro had one of the most significant, positive impacts in the wrestling industry across the board than anything else in the past 30 years, and I know I sound like I'm patting myself on the back because in a sense I am, but nonetheless it's true," Bischoff said. "You look at the positive things that have happened as a result of Nitro: WWE upping its game, WWE going live, WWE figuring out and adapting to the Nitro era or NWO era which from their perspective became the Attitude Era.

"You're still seeing the impact of early Nitro across the board including in AEW as much as they try to suggest, as Tony Khan did recently, that we're gonna do everything different that Eric Bischoff did. Well, guess what m-fer? You're doing about as much as I did than anyone else in the industry. I'm not defensive about that. I think it's just a fact when you look at things objectively. The things we did on Nitro [are what] you're still seeing today. They're things that change the nature, the landscape [and] the entire industry, and I think it's even fairer to say, now that I'm into my third Starbucks, WWE wouldn't be the company that it is today had it not been for the pressure, the influence and quite frankly the template we created that they were able to follow and take to the next level, so there I'm off my soapbox. Sorry."

Bischoff admitted that while he is critical of Khan's comments, he is still rooting for AEW and has nothing against Khan personally.

"Look, I got nothing against Tony," Bischoff admitted. "I love AEW. I'm rooting for their success, but I'm referring to an interview that he did a while back. I never read it. I didn't pay attention to anything in that particular week online because I was traveling. But I was doing 83 Weeks with Christy Olson on YouTube last Wednesday, and she brought it to my attention. And she kind of caught me by surprise by it.

"To hear Tony Khan kind of dismissing WCW and suggesting he's doing everything the opposite of what WCW did. Well good luck with that. So far he's probably made about $100 million to compete with the WWE developmental territory and all of a sudden he thinks he's Vince McMahon. Good luck to that brother. Can't wait to see how it all turns out, but I'm rooting for ya. I really am. I know it sounds like I'm not, but I really am."

Bischoff has told a story about how he almost met Khan at Tony Schiavone's birthday roast, but Khan left before then. Bischoff discussed AEW taking inspiration from WCW and doing similar things that WCW did like high guaranteed contracts, which WCW were criticized for at the time.

"Look, I probably sound like I have more chapped ass than I really do over this, but I get it he's been the business for only for a few months really. He's new at this. Putting him in the spotlight, he's getting a lot of questions that probably, at some point in time, he feels he's gotta make a strong response to something. He's really got his hands on the business. I get that. I was in that position. I understand it. I don't hold it against him," Bischoff said. "It seemed like a silly thing to say when you're naming all of your pay per views after WCW pay per views. Your production is all former WCW production. When your staging is all early low-budget Nitro. You're paying huge amounts of money, huge amounts of money to your top stars more than they've ever made in their lives in some cases including some of the announce talent, guaranteeing those dollars, a lot of the same things WCW had to do when they were trying to establish themselves. You're following in so many of the footsteps of WCW in so many different ways, that WCW was criticized for by the way in terms of guaranteed contracts and paying huge sums of money.

"Great to criticize. Easy to criticize especially when you've only been in the wrestling business for a cup of coffee or two, but whatever. Like I said, my ass isn't really all that chapped, but I did take exception to it in a small way."

"Look, had the article of Tony's statement been as complete as your summation of it, I would've taken no exception to it, but the way it read was 'WCW was a joke. It f--ked up the wrestling business. They advertised events that never happened.' Hey brother, when you're producing 200 shows a year and your overseas and you got two prime-time television shows that are topping the charts year after year, then I'll be impressed, but until then, be a little careful about what you criticize".

Jon Moxley On How He's A Different Person After Leaving WWE

Shortly after Jon Moxley departed WWE and left his Dean Ambrose character behind, he released a video on social media promoting the return of Jon Moxley. The video showed him breaking out of prison and one can apply a metaphor to him breaking out of the constraints of WWE.

Moxley talked about how his AEW character is so different than Dean Ambrose in an interview on The Walkway to Fight Club podcast.

"It's just kind of like a whole other different person that had been like sleeping or in jail or suspended. It was like Jon Moxley was serving an eight-year suspension and then he finally got reinstated," Moxley said referring to his eight years in WWE.

"It's hard to explain but when you're being pushed in so many directions, and saying somebody else's words and you're doing something that's somebody else's vision and you're trying to exist within all these different constraints, it's like you'd not become yourself anymore. And now I just walk out there and it's whatever. If I'm in a pissed off mood, I'm going to be pissed off. If I'm in a happy mood, I'm going to be happy. If I'm in a mood to joke around and be joking around, you know, whatever. I'm just gonna walk out there and do whatever. Whatever the situation calls for you and no matter how tired I am or sore, beat up or anything."

Similarly to how he did with The Shield, Moxley is also coming through the crowd while in AEW. That allows him to see the fans up close and personal and he says their passion and energy rubs off on him as well.

"I don't think TV is even doing justice to how hot some of these crowds are at AEW. When I see some of the stuff back there, I'm like man it was like you're there live man. These crowds are so great and I got the best vantage point of anybody because I come through the crowd. So, like we're out sore, tired, braindead or jet lagged, I walk out into that audience and I feel the energy of the fans that are the greatest wrestling fans in the world right now. These people coming out to support AEW who want to be part of the ground floor. The energy is just like the biggest shot of adrenaline you can imagine. I become like an absolute killing machine when I walk through the crowd. It's such a cool feeling. I look forward to every Wednesday," stated Moxley.

Martin Kirby Announces Retirement From Wrestling

British pro wrestler Martin Kirby announced his retirement on Sunday in a heartfelt Twitter message. Kirby spent his 14-year long career wrestling in many UK promotions including Defiant Wrestling before the promotion's closure in 2019.

Kirby spent his 2020 wrestling for Dragon Gate having debuted in the promotion in 2019. Dragon Gate was amongst many other Japanese promotions that were forced to cancel shows due to the coronavirus.

Kirby held many titles throughout his career. Kirby is a former Defiant Internet Champion, SWE Speed King Champion and RevPro British Tag Team Champion.

In his message, Kirby wrote, "I first began wrestling 14 years ago, [and] in that time I've surpassed any expectations I ever had. The opportunities I've been fortunate to have received allowed me to wrestle in every major city, main event shows, meet [and] greet childhood heroes, have a WWE Try Out [and] even complete [two] tours in Japan with Dragon Gate.

"However, the time has now come to hang up my pink [and] black trunks for the final time. I'm proud of all the friends I've made, things I've accomplished [and] fans I've entertained over the years. Thank you."

WHW #165: ECW Living Dangerously

ECW was on the decline and not too far away from being swallowed up by big bad WWE. As usual, the gang pulled out all the stops in this one, including a horrible injury to New Jack. But even the work of Mike Awesome, Masato Tanaka, Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Justin Credible, Steve Corino and even the American Dream Dusty Rhodes could not pull this one up by the bootstraps.

Enjoy the third and final ECW Living Dangerously and without Taz, RVD (except a run in at the end), and Shane Douglas something seemed off.

And, as Tony would say, we did not even get a camera shot of Francine!!!

Example #12345 Of How Marks Have To Be Put In Their Place (And Not Just By Me This Time Either, LOL)

This is always SSOO Easy to do because Marks always answer and reply the same way, every time.. And when they get called out to supply proof and they give the weak ass answer of "Google it"? You know right then they're bitching up cause they ain't got shit.. SSSOO typical of today's marks.

Here's the shots of how this clown Paul has been getting his ass handed to him, and not just by me.. Someone else called him out for proof and in typical mark fashion when they have nothing to back up their big mouth? He starts bitching up and side stepping..

This is where I, unlike this clown Paul.. start supplying links with some proof to back up what I've been saying.. Which of course he just side steps with excuses and more BS because he has nothing to provide on his side to back up anything he's saying.. Which again is the mentality and logic of this era's marks.

And since he tried to be slick and make a very weak attempt at insulting me by saying I'm an "Over glorified Blogger".. HHMM Look at the number of viewers of this blog, just for today, and the day isn't even half over yet..

Yeah.. Marks like Paul really should think things thru before they open their mouth, they usually.. Thanks to someone like me, wind up having their foot planted right in their mouth..

Proof is, a mother fucker and I'll always be the guy, who supplies the proof.. proof that marks today? Are dumber and more clueless than ever before.

Another mark, bites the dust.. Check mate.

Jake Roberts On Randy Savage's Request Before Snake Biting Angle, The Secret To Cut Good Promos

As previously noted, WWE Hall Of Famer Jake 'The Snake' Roberts was recently a guest on Talk Is Jericho with professional wrestling legend Chris Jericho. Among many other things, Roberts talked about WWE Hall Of Famer 'Macho Man' Randy Savage being bitten by a cobra on WWE television. Roberts, who recently made his AEW debut, said long term feuds are still possible in today's professional wrestling and talked about the art of pro wrestling promos.

According to Roberts, Savage was concerned that he was being tricked into being bitten by a venomous snake on WWF Superstars back in 1991. Consequently, Savage wanted Roberts to be bitten by the cobra to prove that the snake's venom sacks had in fact been emptied.

"[Imitating Savage] 'let me say this: you need to let that snake bite you first.' 'f--k you, man!' Yeah, I'm like, 'f--k you,' in a nice way, not being disrespectful. 'Dude, I ain't doing that s--t.' He goes, 'if you're not going to do that, then you and I are going to have to do a little fighting right now!' And this guy starts ripping his s--t off, and he's squaring up on me, and I'm like, 'are you serious?' 'Goddamn right I am!' Now he picks up a chair and swings it. 'Come on!' 'You're a psycho.' So I went over, and I got the bag out, and I pulled my pant leg up. I slapped the snake a little bit. I stuck my leg out there and he bit my leg, so he bites it and I jerk him off of it. Randy's like, 'don't you dare move! Don't take no elixirs! Don't take no antidotes! Don't take nothing! Don't take no pills! Don't touch nothing! I'm going to sit right here and watch you f--king die!' After about 20 minutes, he goes, 'did that screw with your head?' I said, 'yeah, but not nearly as much as you are!'"

Roberts recalled, "[Savage]'s like, 'well I guess that's okay then.'"

During the interview, Jericho mentioned that Roberts' feud with the late great 'Ravishing' Rick Rude lasted for over a year. In response, Roberts suggested that long term feuds can still work in pro wrestling today.

"It can still be done," Roberts professed. "Less is more, okay? You people deserve [to be] and should be entertained. But that doesn't mean I've got to tell you 10 stories. We've got to take time to breathe every now and then. And I'm sure you fans wouldn't mind if these guys took time to breathe a little bit more because here's the bottom line, Chris. And I've argued it with Vince and I've argued it with everybody. If I am connected with these fans emotionally, I own them. I own them. I can make them stand up; I can make them sit down; I can make them bark; I can make them love me; I can make them hate me. Okay? You do that with the psychology of the whole thing and when we rush things, we're cheating [the fans] out of the emotional tie in."

Roberts, who recently weighed in on his biggest pet peeves with pro wrestling promos, talked about the art of the promo. In Roberts' expert view, pro wrestlers should always believe what they are saying on the mic.

"I'm going to let you in on a little secret that's not really a secret, man. To do a promo right, you have to believe what you're saying, okay? So the first thing you never do is you never say something that you can't do in that match. Like, you should never say, 'I'm going to kill you.' Okay, where are you burying your people, asshole? 'I'm going to jerk your eyeballs out and swallow them!' How many have you done so far? I mean, because you destroy that and once you destroy that with the fan, you're mush, okay? So you've got to keep it real. Now, the other thing is you don't look at the camera. You look through it. When you talk to a fan if you're cutting a promo on somebody, you don't look at them. You look through them." Roberts added, "you've got to say it and believe it."

Jericho remembered a time when McMahon called him 'One Take Jake' and noted that the nickname was in honor of Roberts who could regularly cut a promo in one take.

"I did a promo once," Jericho said. "I can't remember what it was for. I did the promo and Vince went, 'one take, done. 'One Take Jake.'' That's from [Roberts]. It took me a while to figure it out. I thought 'One Take Jake,' it rhymed. I'm like, 'what a minute,' a couple of weeks later, 'did you say, 'One Take Jake' because of Jake Roberts?' 'Oh yeah, one take, that's all he needed.' One take!"

Thought And Ramble On USACW And David Starr Leaving WXW (Thanks to WWE)

Acouple random rants and thoughts that I'm sure not many, if anyone else.. Will really cover.. Or cover from a view like mine.

Of the many different independent wrestling companies I watch and follow there's Bert Prentice's USA Championship Wrestling in Tennessee. Normally it's one of the ones I really look forward to.. Then the one they posted this past week came on.. (Link is here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MFYbFtoZlo&t=967s ) and it had me scratching my head..

Who the fuck edited this show? because whoever did it did a real shitty job of it.. AND.. Who the hell is booking this because whoever it is doesn't have much of a clue about logic when it comes to a story line there..

Case in point is the story line between Bam Bam Bundy and Kid Wrestling.. This has been an ongoing story for the last couple of weeks and on this past week's show, I guess they decided logic didn't matter anymore. The angle was that Kid Wrestling was 'allegedly' kidnapped by Bam Bam Bundy.. They had Kid Wrestling's 'mother' come out and confront Bundy last week (Yet no cops have come to investigate, not even a mention of that either... HHMMMM), BUT THEN.. THIS WEEK.. Kid Wrestling comes out of nowhere and instead of having Kid Wrestling explain what happened? They have him wrestle a match. And it wasn't even against the guy who allegedly kidnapped him.. Just wrestle a random match with Bundy and others outside the ring..

Who the hell thought that THIS.. Was great logic to a story line? Whoever had that thought needs to go to logic school, or at least.. Go learn what booking 101 really is because was the absolute shits.

Have him come out and NOT EXPLAIN anything? Just go wrestle a random match? How the fuck did that make any sense? PPPSSTT. Guess what, it didn't.. And any fan with an I.Q. higher than a door  knob will see that it didn't make any sense whatsoever. Where was Kid Wrestling's mother when Kid Wrestling 'appeared' out of nowhere? Nowhere to be seen and common sense tells you that if you 'escape' from an alleged kidnapping, you don't just simply come back and wrestle a match like nothing ever happened. The way they edited this show together shows that someone needs to go to editing school or.. this company needs to have someone actually SHOW THEM, how to lay out a long story line properly.. Because whoever trained these guys and told them that no logic is the logic (someone there watching WWE booking maybe?) when it comes to a long story line obviously doesn't know what the fuck they're doing.

Obviously story lines like this are too complex and are too much of a challenge for a company like this to do.. Because basic booking 101 is you go from point A, to Point B, To point C, to point D.. Someone in the booking department of Bert's USA Championship Wrestling obviously doesn't have basic booking down pat and should go learn it before he tries it again. Or better yet if they don't want to learn it.. Then stick with simpler story lines that are within your limited capabilities because obviously, whoever booked and/or wrote this story line out, didn't think it thru too well and obviously doesn't have what it takes to do something on this level..

Stick to simple shit because it's pretty obvious that anything else is more challenging than the booker can handle, or isn't smart enough to think it all the way thru to have an ending that represents something believable. This is an example of sloppy booking, and sloppy is probably a compliment for what shit this turned out to be.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the David Starr situation of him leaving WXW.. Mostly because WWE forced WXW (And Progress) to get rid of him (though both WXW and progress won't come out and say it, because if they did, they may lose that 'great working agreement' of WWE pulling talent from  their shows that they have).. The fact is.. Because WWE have shown and proven that they are, over sensitive bitches.. They actually are missing out on a golden booking opportunity.. Which of course when it comes, to WWE.. They always seem to do that, miss out on golden booking opportunities.

What do I mean by that you want to ask? I'll show you, right now...

There was a big hoopla when Starr took the NXT UK title and stomped on it during a match against Walter.. These two have had a feud that's transcended, how many promotions? Defiant Wrestling, OTT Wrestling , Beyond Wrestling, WXW.. Over twenty times David Starr and Walter have faced each other and Starr stomping on the NXT UK title belt? Just based off the heat of that you had booking gold.. How many different ways you could've expanded on just that incident.. But no.. Instead WWE whined and cried and bitched like little babies because that wasn't part of the WWE's 'micromanaging every little thing' formula..

What they could've done was besides Walter, have other members of the NXT UK roster 'come after' Starr for 'disrespecting their title' or 'their company'.. It's the most OBVIOUS thing booking wise a booker or promoter with any I.Q. could do and should've tried to do.. How hard was it really to follow thru with something like that? From the looks of it.. It was pretty damn hard though it's the simplest thing to further an angle, expand a story line or even create a new story line..

Again.. Basic booking 101.. Something that seems to be really lost as of late..

You could've done it on a Progress show, or even a WXW show.. And for the 'marks' who may come up and say something about WWE pulling their talent from progress and WXW shows at the last minute (Like they always do.. One of those 'great advantages' one has when you have a working 'agreement' with the WWE).. There's always this.. And lord knows how many variations of this have been done thru the years dating back to the eighties in old school territories.. Have someone on say, the WXW roster come out, jump Starr.. and then get on the mic and say "Walter paid me tho jump your ass because stomped on his NXT UK title, you son of a bitch"! Or something close to that.. The variations of doing something that simple, is so obvious that a blind man could see an angle like that brewing.. But.. In another example of how something so easy and simple can be done.. The bookers of WXW or Progress simply missed out on a golden opportunity..

Instead of being negative about it and forcing David Starr to leave, they could've simply turned that so called 'negative' into a positive.. But instead because the owners of progress and WXW are too chicken shit to tell WWE "No, we're gonna continue to book Starr because he puts asses in seats".. They cower like little cowards and be little ducks in the WWE's row like little 'yes men' for the WWE.. Because God forbid they lose that 'great WWE working agreement' they have (rolls eyes).. You don't 'NEED" WWE to make your company successful.. WXW and Progress were successful BEFORE WWE cam waltzing in and pulling advertised talent off their shows.. So really this shows that working with WWE is more of a hindrance than helpful.. Something that's also obvious but yet nobody in them has the balls to say. It to bad someone doesn't, maybe someday.. Someone will..

Interesting Take On The David Starr Situation

Matt Hardy Gives His Take On Why He And Bray Wyatt Were Written Off WWE TV

Like many wrestlers who decide to leave the WWE, Matt Hardy had nothing but positive things to say about the company that brought him and his brother Jeff back at WrestleMania 33. Hardy expressed his gratitude earlier this week on Busted Open.

"I am very grateful. Like I said in my video, Thoughts From The Throne when I announced that I was letting my contract expire, if it wasn't for Vince McMahon giving me an opportunity 20-plus years ago, I wouldn't have this life that I have now," Hardy informed. "I will always be grateful to him for that.

"Even if there's things that we didn't see eye-to-eye on, it is what it is, it's business. I feel like when it comes to Vince and the WWE, in some ways, I've kind of aged out. The way that I need to be utilized isn't one of their priorities, that's fine, I don't have any issues. I don't have any resentment towards them. I'm very happy with the time I had with them, and I'm happy that I got to come back and lead the WWE. That WrestleMania 33 moment was amazing. I'm very happy that I got the opportunity to do a version of the 'Broken' Matt Hardy while I was there. It wasn't all that I would have liked it to be. It would have been nice to have more say in what I was doing, but, it is what it is.

"When I went there, they treated me great. I had great conversations with everyone there. But creatively, we were just on different pages. Nothing against them, but it was time for me to go somewhere else and maximize and optimize my creativity. Especially, with what my role is going to be, if I want to be involved in a prominent role for the last 3-4 years that I have to do this That's where we're at."

When discussing his time in the WWE, Hardy gave a prime example of how his creative ideas weren't being utilized. The example he used was when he and Bray Wyatt pitched ideas to the higher up's about what they wanted to do with their group, The Deleters Of Worlds. Looking back now, Hardy believes that the pitches he and Wyatt had and the constant ideas they tried to present, played a huge role in why they were written off Monday Night RAW for some time back in 2018.

"In all honesty, I think the reason why Bray and I were pulled off of TV at that time, was because they were tired of us suggesting ideas about how we should use the Hardy Compound, and we shouldn't be wrestling all the time. I think that the whole scenario between myself and Bray could have been so much more if we could have gotten people to listen to our ideas," Hardy stated.

When concluding his thoughts about the WWE, Hardy did mention that it was Vince's idea to create the "Woken" Matt Hardy gimmick, so fans could stop seeing him portray the "Broken" gimmick that he had in TNA/Impact back in 2016.

"Whenever we first did 'Woken' Matt Hardy, Vince was the one that initiated it," Hardy informed. "I think it was because people would stop chanting 'Delete.' He'd ask about it, we'd talk about it. Like, I wanted to do it. I think there was a possibility there, but it's a very different concept. I don't think he fully understood it."

TEDDY HART LEGAL UPDATE

Teddy Hart (Edward Ellsworth Annis, 40 years old) remained incarcerated in Richmond, Virginia at the Richmond City Jail after being taken into custody on 3/4 for violating his house arrest. He is being held until a 4/23 court date, which had already been on the docket for 9 AM that day.

Hart was arrested on 2/12 in Richmond after being pulled over by authorities.   According to court records, Annis was charged with possession of a schedule III narcotic and possession with intent to sell or distribute.  According to Virginia law, Possession of a Schedule III controlled substance is a Class 1 misdemeanor and can be punished with up to 12 months in jail and a fine up to $2,500. Possession of a Schedule III controlled substance by a prisoner (Va. Code §53.1-203(6)) is a Class 5 felony, punished with up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $2,500.  According to SwangoLaw.com, narcotics that fall under Schedule III in Virginia include anabolic steroids, ketamine, codeine, and hydrocodone.   Court records also indicate Hart was charged with not carrying/exhibiting his registration card or license, improperly mounted license plates, failure to use lights with wipers,

In a now-deleted YouTube video featuring a phone conversation between Annis and ROH star Maria Manic, who he was in a relationship with, Annis stated that after the 2/9 Ring of Honor Free Enterprise event (which he was visiting at in Baltimore), he left Manic at their hotel in Maryland and drove to Virginia to get marijuana.  He stated he was alone as Manic had "hit her head hard" during an angle where she was put through a table on the ROH event.

Hart stated he was pulled over due to an ongoing issue with his license plate not matching the registration for his car, something he claimed had been "taken care of."  Authorities searched his car and found marijuana and steroids.  In the video, Hart stated he had a "prescription" but does not clarify which he has a prescription for.  According to court records, Annis has charged with possession of a schedule III narcotic, possession (first offense) and possession with intent to sell or distribute.  Steroids would fall under a schedule III description under Virginia law.  In a previous video released by Manic several days before, she referred to steroids in Hart's car as being the reason for his arrest.   Hart claimed that authorities have already discovered all is OK with his car and that it will be released back to "his company."  Hart stated that he hoped to get the situation cleared up and get back to performing for fans as soon as possible, saying he was born to perform and make others happy.

Manic later stated in another YouTube video that Hart was being released from jail, but would be under house arrest in Richmond until his legal case was resolved.

Annis was released from his MLW contract in December 2019 after several requests to be cut loose from his contract.

DAVID STARR BIDS FAREWELL TO WXW (Another WWE Bitch Move?)

Coming out of his title vs. wXw career match during 16 Carat Gold weekend, David Starr has bid farewell to wXw.

Starr tweeted Monday that "I won’t go into further details regarding wXw on this platform and idk when/if I will in any public setting. Like I said, freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences and that this mutual decision was one that neither of us wanted to make. I love wXw & always will."

wXw Unified Wrestling Champion Bobby Gunns retained against Starr in their title vs. wXw career match at 16 Carat Gold night two on Saturday. Starr then gave an emotional farewell speech to close the show.

wXw tweeted after the match "Thank you for everything, @TheProductDS - we will miss you. #wXw16Carat"

Dave Meltzer discussed the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio overnight, saying that details are still forthcoming, but "essentially WWE made it such that [wXw and Starr] could not work together anymore." Meltzer also noted that Starr hasn't wrestled for PROGRESS Wrestling -- which also has a relationship with WWE -- in recent months.

During a match with WALTER for OTT Wrestling last June, there was a spot where Starr stomped on WALTER's NXT United Kingdom title belt. Meltzer wrote at the time: "WWE didn’t approve the David Starr stomping on Walter’s NXT U.K. title belt. Nobody knew ahead of time. Walter and Starr made the call to shock people live knowing it would get over huge. As you can imagine, the reaction from WWE was not positive. Many wrestlers thought it was disrespectful and the higher-ups weren’t happy either."

Starr, OTT's World Champion, has also been a vocal supporter for unionization in professional wrestling. He's set to face Jon Moxley at ScrapperMania VI in Dublin, Ireland, this Saturday.
