Why can't they say it like it is, He killed himself, not "passed away"? BRIAN CHRISTOPHER PASSES AWAY AT 46 YEARS OLD

Brian Christopher (Brian Christopher Lawler) has passed away at 46 years old.
WWE announced his passing on their website: "WWE is saddened to learn that Brian Christopher Lawler, who is best known in WWE as Too Cool’s Grandmaster Sexay, has passed away. Lawler, who is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry 'The King' Lawler, competed during the height of the Attitude Era. WWE extends its condolences to Lawler’s family, friends and fans."
Christopher had been pronounced brain dead earlier this morning after hanging himself in his jail cell at the Hardeman County Jail in Tennessee. A family friend reported to us that they were waiting for Jerry Lawler to come to the hospital to say goodbye before Christopher's life support was pulled.
Christopher was arrested for DUI on July 7 after failing to immediately stop when police tried to pull him over. He was being held on a $40,000 bond. His father and a family friend had been working on getting him to a rehab center, but Christopher didn't know when he was going to be released from prison.
After starting his career at 16 under a mask in Tennessee, Christopher joined the WWF in 1997. He went on to hold the WWF Tag Team titles once with Scotty 2 Hotty in 2000, with the two of them part of the popular "Too Cool" trio with Rikishi.
Paul "Triple H" Levesque also tweeted about Christopher's death: "Incredibly sad news about the passing of Brian Christopher. A tragic loss of life. Both @StephMcMahon and I are thinking of Jerry Lawler and the entire Lawler family this evening."

Bobby Lashley Talks Conversation With Triple H Before He Signed With WWE

Bobby Lashley's first WWE run ended after three years with the company. Lashley suffered a left shoulder injury at the 2007 Great American Bash pay-per-view which required arthroscopic surgery. After a six-month hiatus, Lashley was released from his WWE contract.
Following WrestleMania 34, Lashley returned to WWE to compete for the Raw Brand after eight years away from Vince McMahon and Company. During a recent conversation with German Suplex Talk, Lashley revealed what Triple H said to Lashley even before his WWE return.
Triple H knew WWE had more opportunities for Lashley than Impact Wrestling could.
"He knew my run was over," Lashley said. "You know when some people leave you can see how some people mature." Lashley brought focus to the fact that he didn't sit in the back or get soft during his time away from WWE which impressed Triple H.
Lashley kept working on his physique and expanded his training while wrestling for ImpactWrestling. He also competed in MMA where he maintained a 15-2 record fighting for Strikeforce, Titan Fighting Championship, Shark Fights, and Bellator. When the four-time Impact World Heavyweight Champion was ready for a WWE return, he made sure that he looked prepared.
"When [Triple H] saw me he was like, "damn, you look almost better than you did when you were here before," Lashley said. "He said there's a tremendous amount of money to be made and we'd love to see you come back."
Tommy Dreamer commented on Bobby Lashley's exit from Impact Wrestling during a recent media call as proof that Impact Wrestling has turned a new leaf.
"A lot of people wanna deal with the behind the scenes crap and the internet wants to jump on that," Dreamer said. "Well you know they're putting on a really good product today. I know this because -- they let Bobby Lashley out of his contract. Look at what Bobby Lashley's doing in WWE. Great for Bobby Lashley and also great for Impact because it opened up a spot a spot for someone like a Pentagon to come in or debut in Impact Wrestling."
After losing a #1 contender match for the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns, Lashley currently doesn't have a match booked for SummerSlam. There is still time for that to change and Lashley is still excited about the idea of facing Brock Lesnar no matter what kind of match WWE might book for them.

Cody Rhodes Talks Biggest Challenge Planning 'All In,' Wearing Multiple Hats, Flip Gordon Not Booked

Cody Rhodes talking about some of the challenges involved with putting together the event, wearing multiple hats, and Flip Gordon not being on the show. Here are some of the highlights:
Biggest challenge with planning the event:
"The biggest challenge has been— I've got to come out of my mental age a little bit. I'm 33, but I act like I'm 14, I feel 14. I do a lot of the clerical stuff with "All In," the e-mails, the formats, things of that nature. I'm learning as I go, but some of the folks in production, I don't think they're used to my bubbly, vivid self in this very cut and dry world of production, but they're getting used to it. That's the biggest challenge for me is to know when I've got to straighten [my] tie and grow up a little bit here."
Wearing multiple hats:
"'The Dream' himself came up with Starrcade in 1983 and the 'A Flair for the Gold' and he's not on the event, he's just the Executive Producer, 'Booker,' whatever vernacular you're using. So now, for me, Matt, and Nick's first event, we're all wrestling, but I can say we all had that same thought of, 'Maybe we won't. Maybe we won't wrestle. Maybe we'll just put a baseball cap on and sit in Gorilla and look for camera shots.' ... Matt, Nick, and myself have all said the same thing, I've told them both, 'You have to be there, you have to wrestle, The Young Bucks have to perform at All In.' They've said the same to me and the last matches that were really, really picked with a fine-tooth comb— because we've had this card for some time, we were the last ones to service and I think that's how it should be."
Flip Gordon not being on "All In":
"I don't know, if I'm being honest, something about Flip just rubs me the wrong way. I can't tell if he's a 'bulls---ter.' I can't tell if he's just saying what you want to hear, and that's why I just never joined in with Matt and Nick and the whole Flip love fest. ... At this point the card is full and he had a multitude of opportunities, but in his final opportunity - if you saw it - obviously, I was touched. He proved Matt and Nick right, and he proved me wrong. My hypocrisy can only go so far and I am a fan of Flip Gordon's, I genuinely am. If we're talking about two years from now he's a big part of your roster. If we're talking Flip five years from now he may be the franchise of your roster. He's incredibly special and it took me awhile to see it and unfortunately it took me too long to see it. So, maybe if we do an All In 2, maybe Flip Gordon can be part of that."

And here's Melzer catching up to me on this and like Wrestlinginc. No credit to me for doing the story before him (and the others) I guess they shouldn't bitch anymore about people not giving them credit when they're too ignorant to do the same thing. Makes you go HHMMM.

Combat Zone Wrestling Quickly Changes Ad, And Wrestlinginc once again gives no credit to me.

Looks like Combat Zone Wrestling knew they fucked up, look at how they had to 'walk back' on their first ad on Riddle with the new one. It's also interesting to note that I broke this before anyone else did yesterday (Meltzer got to it acouple hours after I did) and in Wrestlinginc's catching up to me, do you think they'd throw some credit my way because I broke this before them and everyone else? Of course not, no credit. But if someone doesn't give THEM credit, they're one of the first ones to whine and bitch about it. Interesting irony. Here's Wrestling inc's story on it as proof, no credit to me. http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2018/0726/644191/indie-fed-spoils-wwe-signing-a-top-star-photo/

MID-WEST WRESTLING'S ELITE TO DEBUT THIS SEPTEMBER IN MINNESOTA

Midwest Wrestling's Elite Debuts & Presents "Make Or Break" Sept 30th.

With the expansion of Canadian Wrestling's Elite across the country of Canada with some of the best events in all of professional wrestling it is commonly asked by American wrestling fans, "when are you coming to America?!"

Unfortunately logistically there is a lot of red legal tape that doesn't make that possible at this time but luckily wrestling fans will be offered the next best thing and the closest thing to it possible!

CWE is beyond excited and honored to have been asked to be involved in an upstart Midwest organization that has taken great interest in the success, growth, product, and branding of Canadian Wrestling's Elite and is looking to duplicate the quality of action produced North of their border.

As a result on Sunday, September 30th Midwest Wrestling's Elite will host its debut event "Make Or Break": Professional Wrestling at the ROC in St. Louis Park, Minnesota!

Although similar in concept to CWE Midwest Wrestling's Elite will be very much its own stand alone organization presenting a very unique and different product than currently offered in the marketplace with consultation for CWE management.

The debut event will feature the top independent wrestling stars from across the Midwest United States as well as current CWE stars culminating in a Midwest wrestling super show never assembled before in the Twin Cities area.

The event is coined "Make Or Break" and could also be referenced as "Do Or Die" as it is a trial ran event by the event promoters who will determine if it is one and done or a brand worth building based on YOUR support!

Stay tuned over the week for some major talent announcements spanning 5 states and provinces for an event you will NOT want to miss!

Event information is as followed,

Another Diss on WWE, lol Gail Kim Says A Wrestling Return Would Be For Impact Wrestling, Not WWE

Gail Kim's 2002 WWE debut was heavily hyped with weeks of promos promising a Matrix-inspired gimmick and she captured the WWE Women's Championship in her debut with the company by winning a seven-woman battle royal. Kim's first WWE run lasted two years before she was released due to cost-cutting measures. She spent 2005-2008 wrestling for TNA before making her return to WWE for a three-year stint. After a 2011 return to Impact Wrestling, she would wrestle there for the remainder of her career.
One fan on Twitter said that they would like to see her at the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view in October, the Impact Wrestling Hall Of Famer stated that she is happy for the women in WWE, but has no interest in returning. Kim, who retired in February this year, said if she does make a return it will be for Impact Wrestling.
When asked why a WWE return isn't a possibility, she replied saying that she was never happy in WWE during her two times with the company. She continued saying Impact Wrestling is her happiness and sometimes life is about more than money.

Shane Douglas Really Shouldn't Comment On This Since He Was Once "Wrestling With Zombies"

I can provide proof of that.

This week on his Triple Threat Podcast, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas commented on the story that surfaced of the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania school teacher who is moonlighting as a Nazi themed wrestler called Blitzkrieg. With Shane's history as a professional wrestler who also worked as an educator, he explains how the Montgomery County school district's use of a morality clause may indicate the future of the "German Juggernaut''. The full episode of Shane's podcast can be downloaded at this link.
PLEASE CREDIT The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling FOR THIS TRANSCRIPTION

"Well he's not long for his job if he's a school teacher. Honestly, school teachers sign in their contracts a morality clause and good luck with all of the judging we've talked about for the last 10-15 minutes. When the school district that he works for finds out that this guy is out there portraying a "real Nazi" as if he really knew what a "real Nazi" was. So you understand with a morality clause it says that A, B, C and D are wrong (you can't do those things) but E, F, G and all the way through to Z those things are okay. A morality clause is a grey area that the powers that be say if it is immoral than it's immoral and you are getting fired."
"I am willing to bet my last dollar that the people throwing the terms out like fascist or Nazi couldn't pass my 8th grade civics test and tell me what a real Nazi is and what a real fascist is. It is just a word that they heard someplace and they know is associated with Hitler so it is bad. So if I don't like you I'll call you a Nazi or a fascist because that makes you like Hitler in my mind and therefore that is about the worst things I could say about you. It doesn't matter if you are not a fascist and it doesn't matter if you are the exact opposite of a fascist."
"This guy (if all the things you said are true) and he is a full time school teacher and he is out portraying a Nazi character? I can't imagine a school board or administration being copacetic with that and as per any standard morality clause, I'd think there is trouble coming in his career and he might want to hope that he is pretty successful being Blitzkrieg because he many need the income."

Chris Jericho Talks Differences With His Character In WWE And NJPW, How He Created His 'Goth' Look

Chris Jericho was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated about teaming with the Young Bucks to face The Bullet Club on his cruise this October. Below are some highlights:
How is character has changed in NJPW:
"It's very cool to go back to Japan, where I started, and be part of this worldwide growth of New Japan. There are no real restrictions on what I can do in New Japan. We did the original beatdown with Kenny and got some blood going, which you never see in the WWE nowadays, and we did the press conference where I was swearing and attacking reporters. You can't do that in WWE, but you can in Japan. Just to have those shackles released, it just felt like all of these things led to more of a Bruiser Brody character than a Shawn Michaels-type vibe."
His recent "goth" look:
"I was sitting in the crowd so I wanted to look as much like Bushi as I could. Bushi wears black lipstick, so I put the black lipstick on and darkened my eyes with dark eyeliner. When I took the mask off, I had a very gothic look. People are saying this has a vibe from Clockwork Orange or Alice Cooper, and it's kind of a combination of both of those, but it was inspired by neither. It feels like more of a serial killer, lunatic character."
Alpha Club vs. Bullet Club on his cruise:
"We were all in Osaka back in June and I inducted the Bucks into the Alpha Club. So now we can do Alpha Club vs. Bullet Club as the main event on the cruise.
"Coming from the world I come from, which is WWE and Vince McMahon, the tagline sells tickets even more than the match. The only way to see it is to come on board."

More Like Vince McMahon Will Dictate To You Triple H, Not The WWE Universe

But nice try anyway, everyone knows better.

  • Triple H spoke to SKy Sports about WWE’s Evolution PPV and was asked about the concept becoming a mainstay: “It's a question to be answered down the road. Do we need to have a women's only event? No -- just like we don't need a men's only event or anything else. I think that the opportunity is there whoever is the best, the most prominent box office attraction that is the main event. It doesn't matter if that's Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Wrestlemania. So can they have their own event? Can it be a mainstay? Yes, and if our fans want it and it's the right thing then we'll give it to them. The WWE universe will dictate to us what the approach is."

Not Bert Prentice's group but I'll take this, over Smackdown any day. USACW Episode 4

PWInsider, Torch And Meltzer Again, Prove Me Right (The irony is amusing)

Here are the stories all three did on Brian Christopher getting arrested again. A story I broke, hours ago and said, these guys would not only play catch up to me? But not give me any credit for breaking the story first.

As you can see. They proved me correct again.

Remember, these are the same whiny bitches who are the first ones to piss and moan if someone doesn't give THEM credit on a story. But when it comes time for them? To do the same and credit me? Funny how they find all sorts of ways to avoid that.

The irony of what these dipshits say and then do, is quite amusing. And by all means you want to tell them i said this, go ahead. You know what they'll all do? Nothing, not a damn thing but take it, just like they always have.

Name Change For The Blog

Since I have a Facebook Wrestling group with the same name I decided to go ahead and change the name of this blog to same name as the FB group.

Same snarcastic comments, same approach, just a different name that seems more fitting anyway.

Again Beating PWInsider, Meltzer and Torch with.. Ring Warriors to Debut on WGN America.

And again no credit will be given by them to me for breaking this out before them and them, having to catch up to me. :)

Ring Warriors, which was founded by the late Hiro Matsuda, announced that it will debut on WGN America on Saturday, September 15th at 8 a.m. ET/PT. The series, a joint venture between Florida based Ring Warriors and Nevada based Goin' Mobile Video Productions (GMVP), was acquired for worldwide distribution, marketing and licensing by California based Global Genesis Group (GGG). Calling the action for Ring Warriors will be the team of Blake Chadwick and Larry Brannon.
"I think Hiro would be very proud of what we are doing today with Ring Warriors," said Howard Brody, Matsuda's former partner and current Ring Warriors, LLC Chief Operations Officer. "Hiro had a vision that one day Ring Warriors would be on TV in the U.S. but he passed away before that was realized. After almost 20 years that vision is now a reality."
You can learn more about Ring Warriors and get all the latest updates on their official Facebook page.

Beating Meltzer, PWInsider and Torch with... Former WWE Star Brian Christopher Arrested Again

Watch how they all will now play catch up to me and as usual, won't credit me with breaking out the story, BEFORE THEM :)

Former WWE star Brian Lawler, f.k.a. Brian "Grand Master Sexay" Christopher, was arrested earlier this month for DUI and evading police in Tennessee, according to TMZ.
Lawler, 46, was reportedly speeding and swerving around 1 am on July 7th. Lawler failed to stop when police tried to pull him over. When he was finally stopped, he allegedly "reeked of booze and had an open 12 ounce can in his center console." He was immediately arrested and booked for DUI and evading arrest. His bail was set at $40,000.
It is Lawler's second arrest this summer. Lawler was arrested in downtown Memphis on June 7th after leaving a Hampton Inn hotel without paying.
awler wrestled for WWE from 1997 through 2001, however was released from the company after he was arrested for possessing illegal drugs when he crossed the Canadian border for a WWE tour. He has had several arrests since then, including for public intoxication in 2009 and for another DUI in April of 2013.
Since his WWE departure in 2001, Lawler has had several short lived returns for the company, most recently teaming with Scotty Too Hotty in a losing effort to The Ascension at NXT Arrival in February of 2014.

MATT RIDDLE OUT OF PWG BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES AMID WWE SPECULATION

Matt Riddle has been pulled from this year’s Battle of Los Angeles, raising speculation as to where he’ll be heading next.
Pro Wrestling Guerilla made the announcement tonight on their Twitter account. Trevor Lee will take his place in the tournament, which is set to run September 14th through the 16th.
There is speculation that Riddle may be heading somewhere, as he has also pulled out of dates with Over the Top Wrestling in Dublin, Ireland. He is still scheduled for upcoming shows with EVOLVE, which are set to take place throughout August. He also currently holds the EVOLVE title.
On last night’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that current rumors indicate that both New Japan and WWE are looking into bringing in Riddle, with NJPW having interest in using him for their shows in the United States. Both companies have expressed interest in Riddle in the past, but were wary of bringing him in due to previous marijuana drug test violations in the UFC.

MCMAHON’S TAKE: Impact Showed Us How They’ll Differentiate Themselves

This will probably be better than anything on Raw tonight. USA Championship Wrestling EP 20

JERRY LAWLER vs Matt Riviera! The battle continues between The King and The Loverboy. Doug Gilbert ushers in a new war within USACW Starr Power is in action

Like the WWE hasn't fucked up on other things they never created, there comes this

I'm sure, they'll screw this up as well. They have a long standing pattern of it.

World Wrestling Entertainment filed a trademark on the name "Starrcade" on 7/17, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

The event was initially created by Jim Crockett Promotions back in 1983 as a Thanksgiving night supershow, the title of their biggest event of the year. That tradition remained until the company shut down and was purchased by Turner Broadcasting, creating World Championship Wrestling. They retained the event, running it through December 2000. WWE acquired WCW in March 2001.

WWE used the Starrcade name last December to brand a house show in Greensboro, NC, the original home of the event. PWInsider.com had previously reported there were additional plans to additional events with the brand name.

While not confirmed, the timing of the trademark filing is interesting given that WWE is working on their first ever main roster women's PPV event, which may be announced as soon as tonight on Raw.

IMPACT WRESTLING BRINGING BOUND FOR GLORY 2018 TO NEW YORK CITY

Impact Wrestling's next pay-per-view is set to take place in New York City.
During last night's Slammiversary XVI broadcast, it was announced that Bound for Glory 2018 will be held at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens on Sunday, October 14. It will be Impact's third PPV of 2018. Slammiversary took place at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto tonight, while Redemption was held at the Impact Zone in Orlando this April.
Last year's Bound for Glory event took place at the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa and was headlined by Eli Drake defending the company's Global Championship against Johnny Impact.
MLW ran the Melrose Ballroom for their Battle Riot show last week and will be returning to the venue on October 4. Game Changer Wrestling and Joey Janela's Lost in New York will be held there on August 17, which is the Friday of SummerSlam weekend.

WRITTEN PODCAST RECAP: Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru – Comparing territory angles, Rocky III exposing the business, Corny’s temper, Danny Hodge, Rhyno, Pillman, and more

Austin Obviously doesn't watch Indy Wrestling. Steve Austin On How Managers Should Still Have A Presence In Pro Wrestling

Because managers are a presence in many of them. Someone please inform him of that.

Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Paul Heyman, Jim Cornette, Sherri Martel, Freddie Blassie, and Paul Bearer are just a few of an extensive list of managers who assisted with creating future stars for NWA and WWE. Without Heenan, the Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant rivalry would not have the level of intrigue that it did. Without Paul Bearer, The Undertaker would not have been accompanied by the perfect mouthpiece to complement his character.
Steve Austin was recently discussing the concept of managers with MLW's Court Bauer on a recent episode of The Steve Austin Show. Austin, who developed his craft in an era where managers were an integral part of the pro wrestling business, voiced on the podcast how much his missed the manager presence.
"You just don't see [managers] anymore," said Austin. "To me, they were the salt and pepper on a great steak. Such colorful, flamboyant personalities, either that mouthpiece, or that dressing, or whatever it needs to be to enhance that talent further, or be the crutch, or be an addition to, and just make that person a superstar.
"The way I grew up watching wrestling when I was seven or eight years old, and going through the territories, and having my share of managers. Whether I liked them or not, or wanted them to be with me, I learned a lot from them. To me, they're part of the landscape that is pro wrestling."
Bauer added that the role of managers kept the babyfaces from getting stale, because they would fight the entire stable or faction instead of just one heel.
Examples of this is J.J. Dillon managing the Four Horsemen, Paul Jones managing Paul Jones' army (rivaling against Jimmy Valiant), and Paul Heyman managing the Dangerous Alliance (often rivaling against Sting). For babyfaces like Sting, Dusty Rhodes, Jimmy Valiant, and The Road Warriors, the entire heel group targeted them, which made them look even more heroic to the fans.
Austin credits Robert Fuller (Col. Robert Parker) as a manager who gave him a lot of tools to become successful in the business, as well as enhanced his character as a heel. Parker can now be seen in MLW managing Jake Hager (fka Jack Swagger).

Jerry Lawler vs Road Warrior Hawk (link fixed)

Below is the description from the person who posted it on Youtube, you make your own judgement.

Another not very good match. Lawler gives Hawk about 5 piledrivers that he no sells. Match ends with Hales, Travis and Bil Dundee running in. Samantha attacks Travis and then Hales takes Stacy and tries to put her in the Dumpster. Before the match is Sid leaving the building and a Lawler promo in a Cleveland Indians shirt.
