From a few episodes of Memphis Wrestling in 1984. Jimmy Hart and JJ Dillon get into a war of words. First JJ sends him a message by tape player and still photo specifically. (Jimmy and Lance fumbling with the batteries of the tape player is particularly hilarious.) He then sends a video in and Jimmy Hart shouts back both times. Were they going for an inter-promotional war here? How did this one wind up?
Two very well known heel managers from different territories feuding was an interesting idea in the 80’s wrestling context.
