I remembered when this first aired, Growing up in Chicago at the time we had for the longest time only the AWA and Dick The Bruiser's WWA from Indiana. But little by little by slowly other wrestling organizations were able to make their way to Chicago. WCCW, Crockett's NWA were the first and then WWF came on on Channel 32 WFLD (Which is now a FOX station) Saturday mornings.
Seeing that I was getting a hell of a fix from AWA, WWA, and now WCCW and the NWA, the WWF wasn't as exciting for me, until this feud started not long after WWF debuted on tv. This still remains a 'go to' for me when I want to watch old wrestling stuff.
