Wrestling Observer Reports A Story WP&P Did, Four Days Ago

By Donnie Henderson

This could possibly become a new segment here at WP&P. Along with Bill Walkowitz's unofficially titled Segment "How Many Times Is Mike Johnson Going To Scam His Subscribers" I may name this "How Many Sites Are going To Do Stories We've Already Covered Days Before"?

For the second time in less than a week we have another well known wrestling news place cover a story we here at Wrestling Past And Present already covered. First it was PWInsider posting on the AAW title being defended on Impact, which we showed the video of how that happened six days beforehand ( https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2022/08/pwinsider-does-story-wp-did-six-days-ago.html ), This time it's the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer's masterpiece of a news site that posted something we already covered.

Here Meltzer's Minion Bryan Rose in today's Observer Daily Update reports on The Great Muta appearing in Osaka one last time.

But here we already covered it with the video from Pro Wrestling Noah announcing it, four day ago.

Where were these journalistic geniuses at The Observer four days ago when it was first announced? Why is it the site Dave Scherer claims to be a 'bottom feeder' site keep getting stories that the major places cover days later?

It's bad enough that a member of the WrestlingInc staff got caught blatantly stealing a story from us ( https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2022/08/road-dogg-begging-for-job-tony-khans.html ), but now the other main player sites have to keep playing catch up to stuff we did first? It's amusing how an alleged 'bottom feeder' site keeps one upping the established sites over and over again. Our continued success comes in part thanks to their negligence so thank you for being so negligent. We'll continue to expand our success thanks to you not being as knowledgeable or up on things as we are.
