On October 16th, 2021, WrestlePro returned to the Rahway Rec Center with our big homecoming show, "Welcome Back." In a featured bout, the Impact Knockouts Championship was on the line as champion "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo defended against challenger Mercedes Martinez. Martinez had recently left WWE and was already tearing up the independent scene. This would be her toughest test to date in Purrazzo, the dominant Knockouts champion, who was more than ready to welcome Martinez to WrestlePro!
