The National Wrestling Alliance held their first NWA championship bout since
Billy Corgan purchased the promotion. After building the bout over the last
five weeks via their Ten Pounds of Gold digital series, Tim Storm
defended the NWA title against former Impact Wrestling champion Nick Aldis (fka
Magnus) in California at a Championship Wrestling from
Hollywood taping:
