Dave Meltzer Changes his Narrative to Benefit AEW (Like This Is A Surprise? LOL)
Vince Russo and Jeff Lane go through older Dave Meltzer tweets, showing how he has changed his narrative to suit AEW, plus Dave makes excuses for AEW Worlds End buys.
PPSSST, Dave Meltzer makes excuses for everything, And never admits when he's wrong about anything. The mentality of Meltzer is a headscratcher to say the least.
Is AEW Merchandise "Flying Off The Shelves"? WWEELL, Not Really And Here's An Example
AEW claims they're "where the best wrestle", but when it comes to their merchandise selling well in stores? WEELL, I can tell you that THIS... Is an example of how 'well' their merchandise is doing.
Saw this today at a Walmart in Portage, Wisconsin.
AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
OOOOLLL "Pockets" as Jim Cornette has named him, has been reduced to the clearance isle at Walmart, LMAO!
And really, even at this reduced for quick sale price, who would really WANT, to spend fifteen bucks on a figure of a guy who doesn't move the needle in any way, and doesn't really put one ass, in a seat, anywhere?
Sorry there Orange Cassidy, even when you get demoted to the clearance isle, nobody seems to want you, ROFLAMO!
How's that feel?
So no matter how much Tony Khan lies about everything being 'great', you know seeing his merchandise put in the clearance isle, shows things aren't as 'great', as he'd like you to believe.
If we here at Wrestling Past And Present see any more examples like this (or happen to be sent more examples like this), you can surely count on us, to post it and show it to you.

TNA Wrestling superstar and "One To Watch In 2025" award winner Leon Slater made his long awaited return to an New Generation Wrestling at Eternal Glory 2024. A huge fan favourite with the NGW fans, it was great to welcome him back!
One man not so happy to see him back? Vusyk.
The stone faced, hard hitting, grappler isn't the type to step aside for anyone. Vusyk had an incredible breakout year in 2024 and what better way to cap it off than an all important victory over someone with the respect and admiration of the young Leon Slater.
But under strict GEN:X 10 minute time limit rules, can either man beat the clock?
