God 'Marks" today miss the the 'so obvious'. When Dango said "man do I hate pro wrestling" that's when someone at ringside SHOULD'VE yelled "then why are you in it".
I used to say stuff like that all the time when I was at shows, Indy as well as major company shows.
"Marks" today just aren't as 'quick' and always miss out on what should be so OBVIOUS to say. Crying shame what 'marks' today have become (shakes head).

Dutch in an email someone sent me claims he commented on this topic on his podcast this week. Since the last one uploaded to YouTube was two days ago and it wasn't there, we'll have to see if he really is, going to comment about this or not.
His best bet is to just admit he lied since he, basically did and all the evidence shows he did. But as I said, we shall see.
It's one thing to stretch the truth a little when you're telling a story, but to outright LIE, especially when that LIE can be easily fact checked? Yeah some people aren't really all that smart, and Dutch Mantel happens to be the latest example of that.
On his latest podcast clip[ he claims he told Jerry Jarrett he didn't want to be Mid-America champion, look at the title in the screen grab above, he claims he refused it.

I called out this lie in the replies (to which neither Dutch, or the guy asking the questions bothered to reply, which shows they know they can't deny it). Here's the proof of that right here.

Iceman Parsons - First Black World Wrestling Champion
99% of the 'marks' out there love to claim that Ron Simmons was the first black world champion. I thankfully know different as it was iceman King Parsons. I remember seeing it happen on tv in Chicago when World Class had tv there. So sorry "marks" you're wrong again, it'll never be Ron Simmons and will always be Iceman Parsons.
Iceman King Parsons is arguably the 1st black World Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Parsons defeated Kerry Von Erich and held the WCCW Heavyweight Title from March 25, 1988 to May 8, 1988 after WCCW had seceded from the NWA. Ron Simmons would later win the WCW Championship by defeating Big Van Vader in 1992.
