Next week in the conclusion of the NWA's By Any Means Necessary supercard, Crimson and Jax Dane, formerly known as the War Kings, meet in a highly anticipated steel cage match! While the seeds of their brutal rivalry were sown long ago, they reached the point of no return in St. Louis at NWA 73. Crimson was scheduled to do battle with both Thom Latimer and Tim Storm in a Brawl in the Lou match when Jax Dane executed a sneak attack on Crimson.
Former WWE Superstar Karrion Kross is not a fan of the Gladiator-style helmet that he was given on the RAW brand. Proof that WWE's "Creatively Challenged' creative department truly has no clue on how to really get people 'over'.
WWE released Kross and his fiancée, Scarlett Bordeaux, on Thursday night, along with 16 other talents from NXT and the main roster. Kross took to Twitter today and responded to a fan who wondered if he could have Kross’ helmet. Kross wore a Gladiator helmet to the ring before his matches, which brought strong negative feedback from fans on social media. There was recent talk of WWE re-packaging Kross again, but the plan was for him to keep the helmet, even though the helmet in o way helped get him over when the WWE's Creative 'geniuses' truly (and as usual), dropped the ball.
“Nobody wants that piece of s--t brother.” Kross wrote back. (LMAO)
Kross also posted a video of a cemetery and wrote, “I heard you all the entire time.
Sami Callihan’s Wrestling Revolver promotion responded to that video and wrote, “It might be time for a REVELATION.”
Kross wrote back, “Bet your ass it is”
Kross also responded to a fan who said they were heartbroken for he and Scarlett, promising that they will blow everyone’s minds soon.
“Don’t be heart broken my friend. We’re gonna blow your fuckin mind in the near future,” he wrote.
Kross is under a 90-day non-compete with WWE, which will make his a free agent on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Scarlett has confirmed that she is under a 30-day non-compete, which will expire on Saturday, December 4.
Nia Jax has finally spoken out about what occurred leading up to her release. And though it has been reported that budget cuts or vaccination status may have played a factor in her release, Jax’s story paints a slightly different picture.
Jax revealed she has been coping with some personal issues as of late, and was granted a leave of absence to heal. But upon requesting an extension to her break, Jax was left without a response. She would later read reports that she was being released from the company.
“I usually keep my personal life private, but yesterday’s reports leave me with no option but to clarify matters. I recently took a short leave of absence from WWE for a mental health break. I’ve been working through so much — more than I can share — and so I took some time, the full support of the company, to take care of myself.
“Earlier this week, after WWE sent me my schedule to return to the ring for the November 15 show, I asked for an extension to my mental health break, feeling that I needed more time and hoping I would have the ongoing support of the company I have given my all to for the past 7 years. I did not receive a response. The next I heard, I was being released. My vaccination status was never mentioned. I wasn’t given any choices or options.
“It breaks my heart to be so abruptly let go, without consultation, while dealing with so much privately. I loved my career at WWE, I love the men and women I worked with, and I am going to need time to process this huge loss. I appreciate those people who have shown understanding and compassion during an incredibly difficult time.”
Jax had not wrestled since losing to Shayna Baszler on the September 20 RAW. WWE did a post-match injury angle where she suffered an elbow injury at the hands of her former partner that night, and word a few weeks back was that she would be away for some time.
If this is the case, WWE 'could' be open to lawsuits over firing people over Vaccination status. THAT IS, against the law and not even Vince McMahon is above the law.
The word going around says 4 or 5 wrestlers were cut due to their vaccine status, one WWE source said the number was much larger than that. It was noted that main roster talents cannot tour foreign countries without being vaccinated, which creates potential issues for the company.
The talents who were reportedly cut due to their vaccination status were reportedly told they were being let go due to budget cuts, not the vaccine. Which even a blind man can see is absolute bullshit.
Age also likely played a part in the decision to release some of the 18 wrestlers as the company is well aware that they don’t have enough talents in their 20s on TV, and are looking at recruiting bigger, younger, and people with more of a legitimate athletic background moving forward. The report also notes that the new directives on hiring new female talents is that recommendations are 25 or younger.
It was also said that virtually all of the veteran wrestlers that aren’t being used on either WWE NXT or main roster TV right now were discussed for potential releases over the past week. There is also talk that of the talents being signed by WWE beginning in the new year, that they will be signed to 60-day trial contracts to see the rate they are able to improve at, except for top prospects. The idea is that they will not be signed to full-time deals if they don’t show improvement.
While WWE did not publicly announce last night’s releases on their website, but they did issue their classic over used and not believable “future endeavors” excuse in response to an inquiry from The New York Post.

Things got twisted in a hurry when Thunder Rosa and Holidead took on Britt Baker and Madison Rayne.
I guess the dipshit who uploads the video clips of Conrad Thompson's shows to YouTube has no clue the difference, between a 'promo' and a match.
Here, I'll show you, what a fucking idiot the person who uploads these clips really is.
the title says Arn calls a 'promo', BUT.. IT'S NOT A FUCKING PROMO! It's highlights of a match between Arn and Kernodle, DDUUUH, fucking dumb ass.
This isn't the first time Conrad Thompson has had obvious fuck ups with his clips, there's a whole list of examples I made, in this story right here. https://billsbrandnewblog.blogspot.com/2021/08/conrads-continuing-saga-of-video-screw.html

In a huge match announcement for the NWA's upcoming Hard Times 2 pay-per-view on December 4th, Cyon, formerly the Masked Mystery Man, is using his Champions Series title shot against reigning and defending NWA World Television Champion Tyrus. Will he capture gold or will his identity be revealed?
Multi-time tag team champion Doc Gallows of The Good Brothers was on a recent episode of the MCW Cast. Gallows spent nearly five years of his early career in WWE before moving on to the indies and eventually find his way to TNA. Gallows revealed how he eventually found his way to New Japan Pro Wrestling.
“I was in TNA, old school TNA at the time, did the Aces & Eights thing. I signed a one-year deal with an option,” Gallows recalled. “The option was for a raise, and I got in a fight with the office because they’re like, ‘We want to keep you, and we want to put you in a singles.’ And they had some cool ideas, but they didn’t want to give me the raise, and we started butting heads about that. It’s what it says. You guys have to do it. I heard there was an opening in New Japan. Actually, Scott D’Amore, who’s my boss now, was my agent for the New Japan deal, and I started talking to them.
“I met Karl twice. They’re like, you guys are gonna love each other if you’re together. It’s funny to hear him tell the story because he was getting ready for a big singles run there. They brought me in, put us in the Tag League together. He as like, ‘What the hell man? I was about to get my big push,’ but then we clicked immediately, and then they changed the finished for the tournament. We came back. In my second tour, we won the IWGP Tag Team Titles in the Tokyo Dome. Bullet Club was off and running from there.
Gallows said he and Karl Anderson became fast friends, and the two, along with Rocky Romero, have a successful podcast with Talk N Shop. The Good Brothers have made various appearance on AEW while being signed with Impact, and Gallows spoke about Tony Khan and AEW’s willingness to go beyond their company.
“You’ve got to give so much credit to Tony too. To be around him for the last almost year now and everything, he’s such a fan of professional wrestler,” Gallows said. “He’s like I am or you guys sitting in the chairs where he’s like, ‘Oh man, it would be super awesome if we get this guy and then bring this guy who we’ve never seen together and have this dream match.’ Who would have ever imagined two complete different genres of how we do this art form that you’re gonna see Chris Jericho wrestle Nick Gage on primetime television on TNT.
“But stuff like that makes it so cool and so different. When we first ran out and jumped the rail there, people were shocked to see, they knew that we weren’t WWE. They knew we were over in Impact, and it’s been cool. There’s been so much of that since we did it and the influx of new talent, being able to bring these guys out to the regional shows and do stuff, like what we were talking, how I used to come to this show. When I was a young teenager, you could see King Kong Bundy on Superstars on Saturday morning on a pre-tape, and then he’s gonna be in Kaiser, WV and we can go see him for 10 bucks. It was amazing.”
Gallows then recalled what WWE’s attitude is towards companies outside of WWE. He noted how that attitude excludes talent like Darby Allin from potentially breaking out.
“I did hear this, WWE, I know at one point, there was a philosophy, which I hated hearing when I was working, they basically wanted to get rid of all the indies and have everything self produced by them, and this was before AEW had officially launched,” Gallows revealed. “And that was kind of the plan. Hey, we’re trying to buy Ring of Honor, for example. I don’t know if that’s one of them, but they probably tried. But luckily, these people held up and said no, and then AEW happens and now we’re seeing it’s fruitful for everybody, which is really important because if it’s a monopoly, we all know it’s boring.
“This (the indies) is the lifeblood and the grassroots of what pro wrestling is. It needs it for its function. Where do you get people from? Grab them (an indie star) and make them we want them. They’re all gonna be the same. I remember when I first signed too, a couple years before that, everybody that came out of OVW looked like they were ready to step on bodybuilding stage. They all wore trunks. They all had the same haircut. It was like a meat factory. Darby Allin would have never had a job. We would have never known where Darby Allin is. He never would have gotten a chance.”

Former Intercontinental Champion Ahmed Johnson recently made an appearance on Monte & The Pharaoh. Johnson has developed a reputation of being too stiff in the ring, and the hosts brought up the D’Lo Brown and Darren Drozdov incident where a botch powerbomb from Brown caused “Droz” to suffer a severe neck injury, rendering him a quadriplegic. Johnson responded to the notion that Brown was dangerous in the ring.
“Well, I agree with your statements, 100%. There was a match one time when we were wrestling, and he did the leapfrog thing he does, and I wasn’t even in place yet and he went and did it anyway,” Johnson recalled. “That jerk-a** boy, he’s not a friend of mine. I will say I probably did work stiff. Honestly, I was a little green when I came in, but the boss is the boss. He puts you in there and says, ‘You do this, you do that,’ or you don’t have a job the next morning.”
The accident was recently discussed on Dark Side of the Ring in the “Brawl for All” episode. Drozdov, to this day, does not blame Brown for the accident, and Brown has taken responsibility for the accident. Johnson also discussed the allegation that Brown did not contact Drozdov after the accident.
“I agree with you. How could you ruin somebody’s life or change their life course and not take care of them, not be there for them,” Johnson said. “I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve heard rumors that he will go times without calling Droz. I paralyze you and change your life, and I’ll be calling you every day. I don’t think he showed enough gratitude.”
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has recently called out Johnson for his remarks on Brown. He refuted the rumor of Brown not contacting Drozdov noting that he and Brown are still in contact with Drozdov to this day. Johnson also talked about the moment when Goldust kissed him backstage after being knocked out by Owen Hart.
“First of all, I didn’t realize he was gonna even do that,” Johnson admitted. “We rehearsed it, and he put his hand over my mouth and he kissed his hand. When we went live, he thought it would be funny not to put his hand there, and he did it real. And unfortunately, some jobber at the door had to pay for it. He got out of there. He got his bag and went straight out the back door, but Dustin, he’s cool with me, man. I got no problem with Dustin.”
After Johnson was resuscitated by Goldust, Johnson went on a rampage in the backstage area. Johnson then opened up about being on “the gas” (steroids).
“It’s exactly as it says it does,” Johnson stated. “If you don’t know what you’re doing, you can hurt yourself real bad. It was something that you had to do, basically, if you were going to stay up top. Just about all the boys were on it. They won’t tell you that. That’s a weird one. I don’t know why they would be more open about drugs and alcohol. I took a test, and that’s the only thing I ever took. I didn’t stay on a full cycle on them. So my testosterone level and stuff, I’ve been blessed. Everything is good. Health is good.”
“I loved working with FTR, I loved working with LAX, I was really pumped. I felt really bad because we went to Charlotte and one of them ripped up their arm in one of those corners, he ripped his whole arm up on TV and we had to go straight to TV, and that feud kind of ended.”
The former WWE tag team recently captured the AAA Tag Team Championships, which Konnan believes is great for business as it will give them the opportunity to grow in a brand new market.
“It’s great for business, it’s great to see FTR as I don’t think they’re too well known in Mexico. They’re going to be very well known now, so they’re going to come down, that’s another market for them to be known in, that’s always good. And for AEW to grow, as you know Mexico is a very, very important market. People sleep on them and sometimes even disrespect them, but that’s an important market and you’ve got to know it. It isn’t just because I am popular in the United States I’m going to be popular in Mexico, it doesn’t actually work that way. But anyway, that’s real good that they’re coming down.”
Konnan then spoke about the Forbidden Door and how many wrestlers from AAA have been able to work for AEW, as he states that the company’s working together is something he likes.
“I like the fact that we’ve brought talent, you know like Pentagon and Fenix who are now signed to AEW, or Jack (Evans) and Angelico, or Sammy Guevara was here for a little bit. So, it’s really cool to see all those people shining in AEW and I’m sure that there’s going to be a lot of talent coming over there once they’ve got their visas fixed. I like the cross-pollination between company’s, unlike when I started where no company was working together, none of this was happening.”
Finally, Konnan revealed that when he appeared with AEW, an unnamed member of the roster actually questioned why the company had hired him as they felt he was harsh towards the company via his podcast.
“I’ve actually had a star in AEW come up to me and go, ‘I can’t believe they hired you here, you s--t on us so much.’ I go, ‘correct. Let me correct you there, I don’t s--t on you. What’s good I put over, and what isn’t good I bury, and I do that with Raw too, and SmackDown, not just with you guys.’ Anyway, I love AEW and what they’re doing and I love the people there, much success to Tony Khan, I love that guy, he’s a real cool dude
