She kept a constant smile for 98& of the match, guess showing some emotion that's supposed to be a 'fight' was thrown out the window for this. And what's with the lame suit coat Caleb was wearing? That a reject from Mike Awesome's Lame WCW gimmick Impact bought sat a garage sale?
And of course, Guess Callis and D'Amore are using the AEW booking concept now. Can't have clean finishes and HAVE to have something happen after almost every match? (rolls eyes).
Christ, Impact gets harder and harder to watch every week. Just watching the highlights gives me a headache, and a wanting to watch something, ANYTHING, better than this crap.

SHOCKING FINISH (Not Really) in Huge Knockouts Main Event! | IMPACT! Highlights Mar 2, 2021
Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo takes on Jordynne Grace and one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Kiera Hogan, in a mile-a-minute main event that you have to see to believe!
I saw it, and couldn't believe it went this long. The'fight on the floor' before Jordan dived thru the ropes to break it up at the two minute mark, was indeed. one of the lamest brawls I've ever seen. Like they weren't even trying, it make it look believable.
And ODB, again? (yawns).. If they're really thinking this was a "mile a minute main event' then it proves everything I've said aboiut how horrible Don Callis and Scotty D'Amore are at booking.
I can see why not many people are interested in Impact's product. Great if you want a cure for insomnia, but not much else.

CHARITABLE WRESTLING SHOW CANCELED DUE TO JOEY RYAN INVOLVEMENT
A March wrestling event designed to raise money for a charity was canceled Tuesday after it became public that indie wrestler and former Bar Wrestling owner Joey Ryan was involved.
The Wrestling 4 Women’s Charity show in Knoxville, TN, was scheduled for March 20th featuring AEW wrestlers Brian Cage and Sonny Kiss, Impact Wrestling's Trey Miguel, 2 Cold Scorpio, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and JTG among others. A poster circulated on the event's Twitter account Tuesday where Ryan could be seen on the poster.
Based on the page to buy tickets, it would appear Bar Wrestling was actually promoting the show, using a new email address for the charity.
That led AEW owner Tony Khan to say on Twitter that he would remove talent from the event if Ryan were involved, but would still donate to the charity. That offer also came into question with Khan asking if the charity was even real.
Soon thereafter, the group announced on their now deleted Twitter account that they were canceling the whole show while implying they did nothing wrong:
“We apologize for riling everyone up. It is clear that we’re in over our heads. We’ll say that everybody booked was fully aware of all details including going through AEW’s 3rd party booking system for talent. Rather than put talent in a tough situation, we’ve canceled the show.”
At one point, the event had been announced as airing on FITE TV. However, the organization said on Twitter that they were not carrying the event.
Coming out of last summer's #SpeakingOut movement, Ryan was accused by multiple women of sexual assault. He is attempting to fight some of those charges in court as he has several lawsuits going. Ryan was released from Impact Wrestling (who he is suing) following the allegations and was edited off all previous episodes of Being The Elite that he was involved in.

If me making him look like a total moron wasn't enough. Someone I know messaged This Matthew idiot, and tried to tell him going one on one with me is a losing battle. You'd think the guy would take it into consideration?
Nope, as usual he showed to be as stupid as i thought he was. And my friend Micky clowned him with ease as well. Mickey messaged me part of it and I know he send my reply back to assclown I wasted. So you can see that response here. Making threats that won't do or accomplish a thing against me shows how stupid "marks' are, and always will be.
So another dipshit bites the dust. Fact is, no matter what jail you're in, anywhere.. If you're in jail the staff there will not, allow you to go onto FB and message people. Where this dumb fuck Matthew gets the idea you can do that from, I have no clue. maybe on Fantasy Island they allow it but in the real world? No dumb fuck, you can't.
The fact that there are people really THIS STUPID, walking the face of the earth sometimes, really amazes me.

March 2, 2021---New York: FITE, the premier global digital platform for sports and entertainment, announced today that the National Wrestling Alliance will return on March 21st at 4pm ET with a live Pay Per view event; relaunching the promotion since it went on hiatus due to the global pandemic. Following the 'Back For The Attack' PPV, the NWA will resume a full schedule of NWA POWERRR events on Tuesdays at 6:05pm ET beginning on March 23rd, available via a low-cost subscription bundle.

WWE Hall Of Famer Calls Vince McMahon “An A**Hole” For WWE Storyline
In 1996, Jake “The Snake” Roberts was involved in a controversial storyline with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler which saw “The King” going to great lengths to ridicule Roberts’ issues with alcoholism.
There was also the post-match segment where Lawler force-fed Roberts with a bottle of bourbon at Summerslam 1996. In a recent interview with Gary Cassidy of Inside The Ropes, Roberts felt Vince McMahon and Lawler were a bunch of “a**holes” for exploiting his personal demons for a wrestling storyline.
“Well, I thought it was a horrible thing for McMahon to ask me to do,” said Roberts. “It was cheap, it was disrespectful, it didn’t prove a damn thing other than the fact that Vince McMahon’s an a**hole, so there you go. Lawler, he’s in the the same boat. Both a**holes.”
Fortunately, Roberts did win his battle with addiction as detailed in the 2015 documentary, Resurrection of Jake The Snake. Roberts, 65, said he plans to be around for a long time to watch his grandkids grow older.
“You know, I’ve got some issues that I have to watch, but it’s getting better all the time because I did quit smoking. That’s really hard to do. I will be around for a long time, I have grandkids I want to hang out with now. I want to make somebody else miserable [laughs], so have fun. Yeah, I’m doing much better.”
NWA HOLDING MARCH TAPINGS, NEWS ON VIDEO CONTENT COMING THIS WEEK
Dave Meltzer reported on Saturday's Wrestling Observer Radio that the NWA will hold a set of TV tapings from March 21-24 as they resume original content.
Meltzer also said "a positive announcement" that doesn't have anything to do with AEW is coming this week in regard to all of their content being pulled off of YouTube. He didn't say where the tapings are taking place or if fans will be allowed, but Atlanta, GA, has been their home since relaunching in October 2019.
Their last set of tapings was held in late-January 2020 and helped carry the company for weekly YouTube episodes from late-January through March. The last original Power episode was a one-off that aired in mid-May.
A lot has changed for Billy Corgan's company since then. They struck up a deal with both AEW and UWN to have their champions appear and defend their titles, most notably the Women's title currently held by AEW roster member Serena Deeb. Former champion Thunder Rosa has been a fixture in AEW since late-August.
Unless they have worked out an affiliation agreement with another group, the roster will look different than their last set of tapings which featured Rosa, Eli Drake, Eddie Kingston, Caleb Konley, James Storm, Tasha Steelz, and the late Joseph "Jocephus" Hudson who passed away last week.
As previously reported, the NWA recently removed all of their videos from their YouTube channel, the videos were removed because of a new distribution deal that should be announced soon. NWA content will be available through their new partner. I was not told specifically who the new partner is, but I was able to confirm that it is not WWE or AEW.
This deal will add some new revenue for the company, which is more than they were making from the ads on their YouTube channel.

EC3 Comments On Signing With Ring Of Honor
Earlier this week it was announced EC3 had signed with Ring of Honor. After his exit from WWE last year due to COVID-19 budget cuts, EC3 showed up in Impact Wrestling through late October. He then appeared in ROH to wrestle Jay Briscoe at Final Battle in December, but the match had to be pulled due to EC3 testing positive for COVID-19.
Yesterday, EC3 reacted to his signing through a series of tweets:
NWA Removes All Videos From YouTube Channel (Not A Good Sign)
At some point in the last day, NWA removed all of its videos from its YouTube channel. No word yet on why the promotion decided to take down all of its content, including previous episodes of NWA Powerrr.
The “About” section still has links to NWA’s various social media accounts and website.
Most recently running episodes of Shockwave in December, NWA had to break for portions of 2020 due to the pandemic.
Last July, NWA President Billy Corgan shot down rumors of the promotion shutting down. In October, Corgan also said Powerrr would be back “very soon.”
Looks like, that may well have been, a lie.

FORMER ROH STAR FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST RING OF HONOR, PARENT COMPANY
Former ROH Women of Honor Champion Kelly Klein filed a lawsuit against Ring of Honor and its parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group earlier this week. Klein is seeking $75,000, alleging, among other things, that the company ended their contractual relationship with her at the end of 2018 due to “her complaints regarding the disparate pay for [Women of Honor] female wrestlers, the lack of safety and medical protocols after Plaintiff suffered the concussion in October of 2019, and the sexual harassment at ROH.”
Klein’s lawsuit alleges discrimination and harassment, unpaid royalties for Best of DVDs and merchandise featuring Klein, discrimination and harassment, an unsafe working environment, violation of State and Federation equal pay acts, abusive discharge, breach of implied contract and more.
The lawsuit specifically lists several instances where Klein was hurt during matches and reported the issues to the agent of her match but that medical personnel weren’t available to her dating back to an incident in September 2016 where she stated she hit her head and neck on a guard raid, sought treatment at her own expense and was never reimbursed for medical expenses. She stated a similar situation took place when she suffered a concussion in April 2018 in New Orleans and when she broke her tooth during a New York City match in June 2018 (the lawsuit notes in that instance, Klein was reimbursed for her dental bills at her request, but that the company never followed up with her on their own) and was left concussed and on a locker room floor rambling for an hour after being hurt during an October 2019 bout in Wales until wrestler Mandy Leon retrieved help for her.
In the lawsuit, Klein stated she spoke with several within the company about issues, including “unsafe” performers who were booked and the lack of a concussion protocol for talents. Despite being told that there was a protocol, nothing had been made available to wrestlers, according to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit also alleged that in 2017, ROH talent Jay Lethal “leered at” Klein while she was in a hotel’s hot tub, asking her whether she was staying alone in the hotel and whether her boyfriend was also staying with her, actions that Klein stated made her feel uncomfortable. Klein stated that she reported the issue but later found out during another investigation with SBG human resources that her issues were never brought up to human resources and that no investigation ever transpired.
Klein is also alleging, “Sinclair and ROH discriminated against Klein on the basis of her sex by paying her compensation that was less than were paid to male wrestlers despite the fact that the performance by male and female wrestler requires equal skill, effort, and responsibility, and are performed under similar working conditions. The disparity in the rate of pay violated federal and state statutes prohibiting discrimination in pay rates based upon sex.”
The lawsuit states that at one point, Klein was contracted to the company for $20,000 a year and when she asked if that amount could be raised to $24,000, she was told that she could not receive that raise because all of the women were paid the same amount. Meanwhile, a male ROH talent was earning $189,000.
Klein had previously gone public with her issues during her time with Ring of Honor in a piece published by Newsweek. In November 2019, ROH stated they did not fire Klein but "notified her that we would not be renewing her contract."

On Wednesday's Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Marty Scurll worked at the recent New Japan Strong tapings in California.
He didn't verify the story that Scurrl was involved in an post-match angle with Rocky Romero as was reported by Fanbyte's Emily Pratt. Due to non-disclosure agreements, information has been hard to verify. Fightful first reported his involvement with Pratt reporting he was at the January 22nd day of taping. It's unknown how many shows he will appear on as part of the tapings and when they will air.
"The source said that while everyone working on NJPW Strong signs an NDA about the content of the tapings, there was no extra secrecy about Scurll’s involvement: “They weren’t trying to hide him.” The source says they were surprised by Scurll’s involvement, saying “I thought we were going to be the company that wasn’t booking these guys to get some buzz. They’re going to get buzz alright, but probably not the kind they’re looking for. And it just reeks of letting things slide because these people are all friends or whatever.” They added that “I really just think fans should know his involvement beforehand, so they can choose to tune in or not.”
Scurrl has worked for New Japan extensively in the past, last competing in the 2019 Best of the Super Juniors tournament. A presence in Ring of Honor since 2016, he re-upped with the company in January 2020 in a wrestling/booking role.
During last summer's #SpeakingOut movement, he was accused of a 2015 sexual assault by a woman who was 16 at the time. He admitted to the encounter but said it was consensual, and legal due to the age of consent in the UK. He later released a second statement that was more contrite, saying that while he didn't "become aware of her age until after the encounter, the reality of the age disparity is not lost on me."
In June 2020, ROH announced an investigation into accusations made against their contracted talent. While never making the findings of those investigations public, several wrestlers were quietly removed from their roster page including Scurll. In January, they announced a mutual parting of the ways.
The 32-year-old's last match was in February 2020 at Gateway to Honor in a six-man tag.

Radio personality Craig Carton posted a clip from his radio show claiming that in the 90's, he was offered a job by a "group in Philly" to be an announcer that would be named Joey Styles, but he turned it down.
Paul Heyman responded with this tweet, putting Carton in his place.

Ring of Honor is pleased to announce that EC3 has signed with the company.
EC3, who had been pro wrestling’s hottest free agent since he hit the open market last summer, made a few appearances with ROH in the fall. He made his unannounced return on last weekend’s episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” to confront Jay Briscoe.
EC3 and Briscoe had been scheduled to face each other at Final Battle in December, but the match was called off after EC3 tested positive for COVID-19.
Recognized as a two-time former world champion, EC3 boasts one of the most chiseled physiques in the sport and stellar speaking skills.
EC3 seized control of his narrative during his time as a free agent. A darker, more intense and more dangerous EC3 showed up in ROH declaring that he was on a quest to see if honor is real.
Now that EC3 is making ROH his home, he’ll have ample time to find out.
NWA STAR JOSEPH HUDSON AKA JOCEPHUS & THE QUESTION MARK PASSES AWAY
Joseph Hudson, best known to professional wrestling fans as Josephus in the Billy Corgan era of The National Wrestling Alliance, passed away yesterday following a medical episode. Dutch Mantel tweeted that it was believed Hudson passed after either a stroke or an aneurysm.
NWA President Billy Corgan paid tribute to Hudson tonight, writing the following on his Instagram account - “It’s with a heavy heart that I share that my friend and brother in wrestling, Joseph Hudson, has passed away suddenly from an as-yet undiagnosed medical issue. NWA fans would know him as Jocephus as well as The Question Mark; where thanks to the great fans at GPB Studios in Atlanta, Joseph was able to receive the kind of support in the ring he’d always dreamt of. He is survived by a young son whom he loved dearly, and if anything would pain him about leaving this Earth it would be not being able to be there for his boy. RIP Joseph, love to you and Godspeed”
Hudson initially debuted in 2009 as Jocephus Brody, obviously a tribute to the late Bruiser Brody, and worked a number of the independent promotions that ran his hometown of Nashville, TN on a regular basis, including the USWO, SAW and beyond working with legends like Mantel, Tony Falk and Wolfie D.
In 2011, he held the USWO title for a time, defeating Raven for the championship. During the same time period, he began working for Resistance Pro in Chicago, where he likely first crossed paths with Corgan.
In 2016, Hudson worked a number of events promoted by Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion, working with Jarrett, Crimson and others, even appearing against Chris Sabin on a 2016 One Night Only Victory Road PPV.
After Corgan acquired the National Wrestling Alliance, Hudson dropped the Brody surname and was a regular for the promotion as Jocephus, an evil cult leader who initially feuded with then-NWA Champion Tim Storm. That feud that spilled over into Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and culminated with an empty arena match taped at Universal Studios Orlando before an Impact TV Taping.
Jocephus later had a short NWA storyline with David Arquette culminating in Joseph having his head shaved in Nashville, clips of which popped up in the You Cannot Kill David Arquette documentary.
Behind the scenes of the promotion, Joseph assisted in editing of video segments that aired on NWA Power episodes, the weekly YouTube series designed to showcase the old territory era studio wrestling show for a 21st century audience with a hint of levity with some of the undercard characters and commercial vignettes. The intimate nature of the tapings in Atlanta were infectious to watch with Josephus appearing initially under his usual wrestling name before disappearing and being replaced by the masked Question Mark.
For whatever reason, the character became a cult hit on the series thanks to the audience reaction and was quickly married to Aron Stevens, who was playing an obnoxious Hollywood star who had mastered the rare (fictional) martial art of Mongrovian Karate under his mysterious masked senses The Question Mark.
The pair had some fun comedy timing and were pretty entertaining on the series as a team. For Joseph, it became the first time that he was part of an act that clicked and truly became part of the DNA of a promotional consistently beyond a local level. He and Stevens had a short feud with Trevor Murdoch that helped build the NWA TV Title tournament and had the COVID pandemic not forced the NWA to pause, certainly the duo would have been an important part of the roster for a planned house show tour in major markets.
It is believed Joseph’s final match was the January 2020 NWA taping in Atlanta, where he and Stevens teamed in a loss to The Rock N’ Roll Express. To the best of my knowledge, he had not wrestled since the COVID-19 pandemic had taken hold.
Joseph also portrayed Bruiser Brody on the debut episode of ViceTV's Dark Side of the Ring, taking part in reenactments of Brody’s life.

THE TNA TITLE LIVES AGAIN...OFFICIALLY
Impact Wrestling brought the TNA title back a year as part of a promotional effort that was to lead to a TNA Reunion PPV during Wrestlemania weekend, an event that ended up canceled when the COVID-19 pandemic began to take hold. Since that time Moose carried the championship, having declared himself the TNA Champion.
Within the confines of Impact Wrestling storylines, the idea was that Moose was unofficially the TNA Champion and that the belt wasn't recognized...until tonight.
During tonight's Impact on AXS episode, Impact ran an angle where Moose charged the ring and immediately speared Jake Something, who had just won a Tables Match over Deaner, through one of the tables in the corner that weren't utilized Moose then took the mic and apologized to AXS TV, telling him that there won't be a show tonight until he gets the Impact title shot he was promised by Rich Swann.
Impact official Scott D'Amore came out and stated that Swann wasn't cleared and isn't even in the building tonight. Jake Something returned and tried to get past officials to get to Moose. Moose told hm he better be careful or he was going to end up with a lot worse than he got. Scott said he can have a title shot. As of now, the TNA title is an official title in Impact Wrestling and he's going to defend it in the main event against Jake Something.
So, as of tonight, the TNA World Title lives again.
The original plan for the TNA resurgence last year was to eventually spin TNA off as it's own promotion with a separate series on AXS TV, so it will be interesting to see if that plan is still in play a year later.

February 24, 2021 – As 2021 shapes up to be the year for AEW’s biggest shows yet, today the promotion announced that wrestling legend Paul Wight signed a long-term deal, adding yet another universally regarded name to AEW’s roster of stars, legends, and upcoming talent. Wight will have an extensive role within AEW, and on top of his return to the ring, he will serve as a commentator on AEW’s newest show, AEW Dark: Elevation.
Complementing AEW Dark on Tuesdays, AEW Dark: Elevation will air on Mondays at 7 p.m. ET on AEW’s YouTube channel, and will showcase AEW’s established and rising stars, as well as the top independent wrestlers within the industry, competing against each other in the ring in pursuit of wins. AEW Dark: Elevation will also maintain continuity with AEW DYNAMITE, AEW Dark, AEW pay-per-view shows and streaming events, with wins and losses factoring into each wrestler’s ranking in the company.
With new wrestling programming now available three nights per week, AEW continues to solidify its position as the fastest growing and hottest promotion in professional wrestling.
