This Saturday, Nick Aldis makes his long-awaited in-ring return at WWE SummerSlam when he takes on the "Ring General" Gunther. Almost exactly four years ago, the former NWA and TNA World Heavyweight Champion competed for Unlimited Wrestling.
In 2009, Doug Williams took Nick Aldis under his wing, and together they captured the TNA World Tag Team Championship as "British Invasion." After a confrontation between Aldis and the Purge Club on Day One of WRESTIVAL, Williams rushed to the aid of "The National Treasure." This ultimately led to the showdown: British Invasion vs. Purge Club for the Unlimited Wrestling Tag Team Championship.
