Did PWInsider Address Their Ongoing Pop Up Ad Problem? WWEELL, Apparently Not (It's actually Gotten Worse)

 

Back on June 7th and 12th we reported on the nonstop pop up ads people encounter when they go to PWInsider. (those can be seen here https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2026/06/this-is-what-pwinsider-has-come-to.html and here https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2026/06/look-at-what-happens-when-you-go-over.html ). So today we here at WP&P decided to see if Dave Scherer and Mike Johnson at PWInsider even bothered to address the issue in any way, shape or form.

This is what you had before, on the 7th you had...

On the 12th.... there was this.

You would think that after a story or two came out that shows their site looks fucking horrible with those ads popping up, which would make a person to not even want to go there anymore, that they'd would actually WANT, to do something about it.

Apparently Dave Scherer, the self claimed Multimillionaire who 'allegedly' got a major in Business when he went to college, doesn't give two shits about what your experience at his site (that he says, he runs 'like a business', mind you). As long as he can keep getting a nickel from them ads, why bother caring, and instead of actually trying to improve the situation? It looks like he went out of his way to actually make it worse.

THIS, is what we got when we went there ten minutes ago.

So since Dave Scherer is this so called "multimillionaire with a degree in business (look at his own words making that claim, below)

I keep asking the same questions and funny how Scherer can't seem to give an answer, and deflects, or does his usual m.o. which is call someone a 'loser' then runs away and blocks them, I'm still gonna ask the questions. WHAT business school would tell you that putting  all sorts of pop up ads that block a reader from actually VIEWING your site, is considered 'good business'? Please, name this business school.

Of course, he hasn't and he won't because no business school ANYWHERE (except maybe in Scherer's head, or Fantasy Island) would recommend this as a 'good way' to do business. 

Of course they'l try and give you the sales pitch to just get an "Elite" subscription, just pay them and the pop up ads will go away, again what business school recommends that line of shit as a way of doing business? Still waiting for Scherer to name the school, and as I said to him before, I'll be waiting  very long time. Looks like I'm still right on that (smiles).

Besides why pay for an elite membership? So you can get Mike Johnson's fake exclusive stories that are seen elsewhere? Yeah we covered that as well as most of you know (https://wrestlingpastandpresent.blogspot.com/2026/06/once-again-mike-johnson-at-pwinsider.html )

Thankfully we here at WP&P don't have to rely on PWInsider for our wrestling news like three dozen other 'news' sites do. But since Dave Scherer decided to make the pop up ad thing even worse? My favorite Schererism will come to play again as he truly is, living by his own quote.

Only a moron thinks it's a great idea to have all those irritating pop up ads up, only a moron... And well, the quote above says it all about who, the moron in question is. (smiles)
