(Updated 12-26-2025 With Dave Scherer Deflecting, er, I Mean "Responding") Here's An Interesting Question For PWInsider ("Asking For A Friend")

Scroll down and you'll see how Dave Scherer himself, when asked about this went ahead a deflected from answering on the whole point of this story (nothing surprising there).

If Dave Scherer is such the Millionaire he claims to be (and believe me, we'll show you where he made that claim), and his 'business' of PWInsider (he DOES claim he runs PWInsider 'like a business', we still have the email where he claimed that) is so profitable, then why is it he had to put the annoying ad you see above on his webpage?

Six people told me about this so I went to see for myself. 

When I got there I saw what everybody sees when they got to PWInsider.

BBUUTTT... When I clicked on a story at random? Here's what came up.

So this was how he became a millionaire? By putting annoying pop up ads up out of nowhere? HHMMM, something doesn't add up. here's where he claimed to be a millionaire.

Don't have enough adds on your site already that you had to add that annoying one? Something tells me people aren't liking that one and you Scherer, won't be making the nickel off each click you're hoping to make.

Thankfully the ads we have here on Wrestling Past And Present don't pop up and be a pain in the ass like this one at PWInsider. If that was Scherer's view as a 'brilliant idea', then he really should a lot of them 'ideas' to himself.

Then again when it comes to Scherer, this is the same Scherer who actually said.... This.

Looks like even with Trump he's still going through life that way (smiles)

Here's the email exchange that Bryan Knight sent me, he asked Dave Scherer about this and as usual, when Scherer gets called out, he deflects, which has always been his m.o. when called out on something that makes PWInsider look bad. 

Ask him about the story concerning the annoying Google pop up ad he placed on the site and what the Scherer do? He totally deflects and avoids answering it by trying to change the subject, LMAO!

The point of the story wasn't about his finances, a blind man can see the point was about THIS, right here.

But of Course Scherer proves again why he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. His deflecting obviously was an epic failure and the only person who thinks Dave Scherer successfully deflected, is of course, Dave Scherer. 

And to further the point that he really is still living life as a moron, he claims "Does he really care what one of the people who run this site thinks?

Obviously by the fact you replied to the email, you do care, dumb ass.
