Back in March 2022, Jonathon Gresham dethroned Cara Noir of the PROGRESS Wrestling World Championship with thanks to Spike Trivet and a steel chair. The following week, Cara took his second loss of 2022 against his former rival, friend, and muse, WWE NXT UK Champion, Ilja Dragunov. After the match, Spike carried on his brutal tirade, assaulting Cara once again with a steel chair.
