Don't you love that look on Pete Dunne's face? I bet that's exactly the reaction he wanted to give the creatively challenged "Creative Department" at WWE when they told that THIS, was our 'brilliant idea' for you now that you're here on the main roster.

You can imagine him saying to himself "GGRREEAATT, who the fuck came up with that stupid idea"?

We all know who, Vince McMahon. Why not just call him "Pete" for Christ sakes? Least he'd have the one word name that WWE seems to be going with since McMahon has this sudden hate for last names.,

This comes on the heels of this "AWESOME AND FFAAANNTASTIC IDEA" that nobody but Vince likes, in......

Yep, another one of those "Brilliant' ideas that nobody but McMahon likes, and if you run it by Bruce Prichard? Bruce being the ultimate kisser of McMahon's butt will find fiver different ways to spin into why it WAS a great idea, when the rest of the real world knows it's just LAZY creative.

But this of course isn't the first time the 'creative wizards' in the WWE have come up with stupid gimmick names or ideas. Do you remember this 'five star WORLD RENOWNED' favorite that's stood the test of time?

Yeah, I'm sure Barry Windham would like to forget "The Stalker" gimmick too. 

Let's go back even further for THIS all time classic, LEGENDARY character That's headlined many a pay per view (not).

I guess the message is, if you really want toi live that dream of working for Vince McMahon, then be prepared to be saddled with a bad gimmick or a lame name.

Sad that wrestlers don't see that writing on the wall and try to pursue working somewhere else. but I guess when you're a 'mark' for the WWE, you'll suffer thru anything just to say you were there. 

Back in 2000 I locally promoted a show for the Eastern Wrestling Alliance at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire that featured Steve Kiern vs Jacques Rougeau. After the show I asked Steve about that, and knowing from a conversation with me earlier that day as well that I was knowledgeable when it came to wrestling, he laughed and said "I wondered how long it was going be until you brought that up". He then added "The only thing I can tell you is I made a lot of money from it".

An added tidbit for you is the results from that show at Dartmouth College.

A note of trivia most of you don't know, the woman named "Precious Lucy" on this show? has morphed into who many now know, as Lufisto.

Let's move on to the other major company that's just as hard for me to watch as the WWWE, and that's AEW.

I watched this past week's AEW Dynamite show and since it's been a few months since I tried to watch it all the way thru, from start to finish I'd thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to see if the AEW "marks" were right, in maybe I've just been too critical of it because the billionaire money mark playing booker who owns it, has no idea how to write or book a consistent show that's good.

WELL? The 'marks' were wrong. I know they won't to accept that fact of life, but it is indeed, a fact of life that they were wrong. This show outrightly, sucked ass. Everything I had seen before the last time I tried watching it? Not only was there again, but it's gotten fucking worse.

If that right there doesn't say it all about how to truly fuck up what was supposed to be a 'serious' angle, this shows how much storylines and angles are taken seriously in AEW, right there.

If you're brother is being jumped on, are you gonna run out to help him, OR, are you gonna run, but make sure you dance a little BEFORE you go help him? And yes has been getting laughed at about this ever since he did that. There's no way to spin your way out of it, that was one of the dumbest things you could've done and shows that there's nobody there who has the balls to try and reign in this kind of bullshit.

But hey, THAT was your Jeff Hardy debut, and I'm sure in some way, the AEW faithful will find a way to explain how this was a 'brilliant' spot, when it really wasn't.

Had Jeff Hardy did that on WWE TV? People would be shitting all over it, but because it's AEW? I guess in some mental patient mentality sort of way, it's now considered okay and 'cool'. Let that, sink in.

Oh yeah, let's have FTR fire Tully Blanchard in the back, and then cut away from it BEFORE Tully has a chance to respond to it.

Yeah, 'genius booking' there (rolls eyes).

And did Wardlow fall asleep during "Promo Class" when he was training to be a wrestler? Who the fuck gave him the material that he obviously memorized? And how he delivered it? I've seen crash test dummies give a better performance than what I saw here.

You have awesome promo artists in Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes working there but you'd think any of them would've at least TRY to see what Wardlow's promo skills were like before he was sent out with lame material and told "good luck with what we gave you"?

The answer is what you saw in Wardlow's promo, no.. None of the veterans decided to take the time to try and help him along, and it showed.

And let's not forget how AEW is in desperate need of a logic editor. Some explanation on HOW Dante Martin got a title shot against Adam Page would've been nice. You have Excalibur explaining every fucking Japanese thing he can think of but you can't take the time to explain how Dante was awarded a title shot?

Makes you go, HHHMMM, doesn't it.

I know the AEW apologists will read this and say I'm just like Jim Cornette. Well go ahead and say it because I'll appreciate the compliment. At least, he, like I tel it like it is and tell the truth. Something 'marks' today have a hard time with.

Adam page is getting wins on TV NOW? Where were these wins when you were 'supposed' to be building him up for the last two years? HHHMM, guess someone forgot about that obvious piece of logic. Ass backwards booking is so obvious and mind boggling it borders on the level of pathetic. Throw in the flip flip gymnastics you see every show and you can see why I'm looking to change the channel. I know I know, the AEW audience ate it up. But they'll accept anything at this rate. if the billionaire money mark came out and announced "DOG SHIT, IS GONNA BE IN OUR MAIN EVENT, NEXT WEEK HERE ON DYNAMITE"! They'd be raving about all over social media for the next three days, finding all sorts of ways to explain how DOG SHIT being in the main event, was another 'awesome' idea.

Throw in everyone HAS TO fight outside the ring,. ALWAYS have to have dives outside the ring and the truly asinine level of 'no selling' and you tell me, tell me how this is supposed to be a great show to watch. If you see dives in the first match, what makes it so special when you see two matches later? PPSSSTT, nothing makes it special. Too much burns people out but this new era of 'wrestlers' can't seem able to conceive that concept.

And for the love of God, PPLLEEAASSE, LEARN HOW TO 'SELL' PROPERLY, IS IT REALLY THAT FUCKING HARD FOR YOU TO DO?!

The answer obviously if I had to say that is, yes. it IS that hard for them to do.

I know you're supposed to 'suspend reality' when watching wrestling but.. there's that and then there's blatant no selling bullshit that nobody seems to be able to explain, why they do it.

If a guy weighs 190 pounds, and is put thru a table, slammed face first into metal chairs and is suplexed from the top turn buckle to the outside of the ring, EXPLAIN TO ME, HOW THE FUCK HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO 'POP' RIGHT UP, LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED? I've asked various indie wrestlers and others for the last two years this question. "Is it that wrestlers today don't know HOW to 'sell', or is it they just don't WANT to 'sell'?"

Funny how I can't get an answer to that.

You can't suspend reality when you can see that obvious bullshit.

Yet THIS, is supposed to be the great 'alternative' to the WWE.. Even though half their roster now comes from WHERE? The WWE. Thank God there's plenty of Indie groups as well as companies in the UK that give me the fix WWE and AEW aren't capable of doing.

Another sad fact of reality? Watching NAWA TV from 1990 with a Ricky Steamboat/Robert fuller feud has been 100 times better to watch and more entertaining than WWE and AEW. let THAT ONE sink as well.

Lastly, let's discuss the elephant in the room, and who better to do that than the 'Asshole in the Room".

Several people (Stephen Rodgers, Jack Reynolds, Stan Bauer, Randy Herzog, Ian Hamilton and Colleen Schaffer) sent me a notice that Dave Scherer over at PWInsider posted a not so enlightening picture of me on Twitter and tried to expose something from my past. So since I am not embarrassed by my past and actually embrace it, to answer the question of what i was going to do about this?

I'm gonna play a game called "Fact Check". Because it's evident that Mr. Scherer needs to be fact checked on a few things.

You'd be surprised what being sober for over 7 1/2 years can accomplish, what it can do to change someone's life but Dave doesn't wanna hear it. He prefers hiding behind this one thing because it's the only thing he thinks he has that he thinks he can 'hang over me'. It's the only argument he has and now? I've taken even that away from him.

If he's so quick to post something that happened twelve years ago, ask him to find something recent he can use. Go ahead, ask him. You'll be waiting a long time for him to come up with something, a VERY long time because this, was all he's ever had and now, he can't even use that anymore.

Let's go to fact check #2.

He claims I 'bombed' his Facebook posts? I didn't know three replies qualifies as 'bombing'. 'Bombing would mean more than three, WAY MORE than three but I guess according to the logic of Scherer, three is considered a major' bombing (smiles). Add to his other claim that i 'just', joined Twitter? I HAD Twitter accounts so how is it I 'just' joined? 

Proof is a mother fucker so since I'm a mother fucker who has proof? Here's the two accounts I had on Twitter. 

One is permanently suspended and the other is locked, the latter had ONE tweet, from 2019.

AAHH YEP, I sure did 'just' join Twitter. Good call there Hawkeye.

Mr. Scherer has taken potshots at this site several times and loves to hide behind the fact that HE and Michael Johnson 'bought' a domain that is their site while we decided to use something that's free of charge. Proof of that is right here. Dave's own words he said in an email to WHOM? Donnie Henderson one of our staff members here at WP&P (Thanks to Donnie for supplying the screen shot).

Why buy a do main when you can use something that's free? Pay for something? or use something that's free.. HHMMM the decision looks pretty easy to make, even for a blind person.

Another thing, Nobody gives one flying fuck whether a site has an 'Alexa' rating or not. They don't go to your site, Meltzer's or anyone else's based on what their 'Alexa rating is'. Alexa rating don't mean shit when someone comes to a site looking for news. Sorry Dave, someone has to be honest about it, 99% of the people who go to wrestling sites don't even know about Alexa ratings so why the hell should they care how your site is rated there? I'd love to hear him explain this silly logic. of course he won't because there's no explanation for something he probably threw out willy nilly thinking it sounded good the moment he thought of it.

Oh no, we still have more. This all rights itself as facts and proof say a whole lot compared to the one thing Mr. Scherer has hid behind when it came to bashing me. 

Dave Scherer and Mike Johnson are mad at me and the other staff at this site because, Number one? We've become successful, number two? We provide a wider variety of things here than what Dave and Mike, Meltzer, WrestlingInc, Torch and other sites put out. And Number three? Because we do what no other sire has the guts to do, bust out other sites or writers when they fuck up.

Again, proof is a mother fucker, so let's go thru all this with some proof, shall we?

Success of this site can be seen with this screen shot I just took. (4:30 am).

That's the amount of people viewing this site, RIGHT NOW, at 4:30 in the morning. The success of this site is indeed unquestioned.

One look at all the things we post, especially our focus on indie wrestling groups around the world covers way more than all of the above mentioned sites put together put out when it comes to indie wrestling. Add in the older material and we definitely cover more ground than anyone else. It's just that simple and can't be disputed.

As for them getting busted, Dave Scherer loves posting that pic of me but let's look at some facts. He has that one pic and thing from twelve years ago? But yet his site keeps getting busted for getting stories wrong. Here's a list of examples of that.

Me cause Scherer posts a pic from twelve years ago that I chuckle at knowing with my recovery I've turned my life around, like many others do when they seek the help they need for their demons, or Dave's site that he makes money off of that has these patterns of getting things wrong and false advertising?

This is what happens when someone like Dave tries playing checkers, with a chess master. He gets 'checked'. Someone should tell him to read this, then ask him how posting that pic of me on Twitter has worked out for him.

Maybe Dave should concentrate more on having his partner at PWInsider actually get stories right, and stop falsely advertising things for the paid membership that people can see for free elsewhere.

But I guess instead of doing that, posting an old pic of me from twelve years ago is 'way more important', eh? 

Mike Johnson posted a story on the late Scott Hall yesterday, "To Scott Hall And To The Lesson That Can Be Learned From His Life & Career"

What about the lesson that everyday people such as myself, have learned and pass on to others who are struggling with their demons? What about people who lived life in a living hell they were trapped in because of them demons but climbed their way out of that hell to not only reclaim their life, but turn it a total 180 degrees to the good? There's people such as myself, who aren't as famous as Scott Hall who turned their lives around and live very productive lives.

Must be "selective empathy' over at PWInsider, eh?
